Me and my husband come back to this restaurant 2nd time. Was sat in the lounge area, we waited and watch servers go by, no HI no one greeted us. Only like 4 tables in the area that had guest. We are waiting and waiting........... still no server but one server grabs her phone and goes outside. OK maybe a break, we are still waiting. No manager is coming around the tables asking if guest are good, still we see servers walking around not ONE but 2 to 3. Never asked how we were doing. A family gets sat, and a server goes straight to them. I say excuse me we were here first and been waiting 9 minutes. No apology. Comes over, ask what we want to start with and were like well we dont have menus. I hate to give bad reviews, but this was really uncall for, and at a popular restaurant but wasnt busy. We were hoping to get something to eat and make my grandson choir concert that, but we missed it. Hopefully next visit will be better.

The staff probably shouldnt be doing push ups in a room adjacent to the dining room and should be aware that their voices travel enough to be heard when they use objectionable language... other than that it was a pleasant experience... we found out that they also have live music on occasion...

Best brunch spot! Best OKRA ever! Brisket tacos 10/10 actually any of the kinds of tacos are 10/10! Super good bloody mary. Jalapeño gravy is great! Sonia is our favorite waitress! Everytime we go we always ask for her. She is 100% with it and is always smiling. Patio is great for kids. Dog friendly. Live music on Friday!

The food was terrible, went on Sunday morning brunch had a taco plate, the brisket in the tacos, were cold. The egg in the tacos were slightly burnt and cold, the tortillas were slightly warm, potatoes were warm and rubbery, We asked is they could warm them up, which they did, It was just terrible will not go back.

First time trying this place out. I ve seen signs posted of catfish, it was a friends birthday so we decided to check it out. I am from New Orleans and we re always looking for good food! The fish was disappointing! No seasoning that I could ve tasted, and seems the oil needed to be refreshed bc as you see in pictures the fish was dark. The brisket nachos were the best !!! We had a sampler as well and the fried pickles were good. The service was good our waiter Garrett was pretty cool. I just don t recommend the fish if you re looking for some good seasoned catfish. Other than that it was a cool experience.

Came in 45 minutes prior to close. First time visit. Service- Server lacked personality. No smile, no rapport building, no namemissed drink refills more than once. Wasnt rude, just seemed like we annoyed him being there. Atmosphere- Nice and clean. Inviting. Food- Brisket nacho appetizer was huge and amazing. Sirloin steak was undercooked and tough. Caesar salad starter was lacking dressing. Banana pudding was ok. Top tasted good. Bottom half was a different color and tasted funny. Overall would return, for the nachos if anything, but will also hope the server is more outgoing to enhance the experience.

First time in. We sat at the bar at first and had mimosas. Bartender was very friendly. We then sat with Haleigh she was amazing so funny and bubbly. Food was amazing and much bigger portions than expected. My only complaint would be the music was not loud enough, could here it in the bar but not in the main dining area by the door.

They where a buthcer couple a years ago. I went to there today in hopes of getting some special slab o meat for fathersday...The waitress who deserves 1000% credit was helpful and tired to get me to a actual butcher shop like one that was there she tried but management failed her.. she asked the owner for a butcher shop and then told me to go to Kroger. nothing wrong with that but i was looking for help to a butcher shop to smoke some meat. they very well know where there is one but didnt recommend other establishments....... and left me out to dry well...... i guess it comes back in the end.......

I know they re low staffed, but our waiter was not attentive. The waitress seemed amazing; she was very upbeat and on top of serving her tables. Our waiter was absent for long stretches of time and was only around while we ate our food. Food also took a while to come out. Tables who sat down after us got their food a bit sooner. I ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich. It was pretty good. No complaints. The fries are a bit sweet if you like that. My husband got the chopped steak with a Caesar salad and fried okra on the side. The chopped steak was good; gravy was a bit bland, but the onions and mushrooms were good. The fried okra was mostly good. Also has a sweet flavor. The atmosphere was disappointing. Nothing to really look at. Felt empty. They need to lean more into the feed yard aspect. I won t go out of my way to come back, unfortunately.

I really wanted to love this place, but I just couldn t. My salad to start just looked sad. I got the sirloin which was $20 and so not worth it. I wouldn t have eaten it if it weren t for the price or the doubt that an exchange would also disappoint. My baked potato was the smallest I ve seen in a long time. Their fries are oddly sweet. As for the banana pudding, it was actually very good once you got past the crunchy wafers and mound of whipped cream.

Below is my 5 star review of this place 10 months ago. We have made this one of our favorite go to places but as of late it has fallen apart. It was a nice rustic resurant with a bar in side but now it is a bar that serves bar grade food. Serves focus on certain patrons mostly on bar stools and table guests are treated as nuisance. This has been the norm the last few months and I think its time to move on.... ........ I recently had the pleasure of dining at the converted feedstore turned restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The rustic charm of the building combined with the warm and inviting atmosphere created the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The home cooking was simply outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. From the chicken fried stakes with creamy white gravy to fress cooked salmon, every bite was a delight. However, what truly set this place apart was the exceptional customer service. We had a group of 19 people, mixed ages seated in the bar at a tall table. We had quick and accurate service food came out promptly and correctly. I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta. And it looked amazing, however the taste just was not there it was not bad it just lacked flavor. Other people in our party were very satisfied with their order. I believe our experience would have been better if we had been seated in one of the smaller rooms. As none of us ordered anything from the bar... I would like to go back and try the brisket nachos another time as they looked amazing.

First time going with my husband and right from the jump we were immediately seated. Our server Ashley was kind and very informative. Her service was amazing and genuine. We decided to come here for Sunday morning brunch. I got the honey butter chicken biscuits. Sooo good. The biscuits were very tender. Great atmosphere! I will come back for the bar for sure. The brisket queso and hot sauce were good. Tomato bisque was flavored water with small pieces of cheese. The burger was dry with no seasoning. That was disappointing and not what I would expect from a place like Kearneys. My mom liked the burger, but she likes blan. The crispy buffalo chicken wrap had a light coating of buffalo sauce. I could not taste the buffalo sauce over the veggies and ranch in the wrap. I didnt feel so good after I ate it. Took the 2nd half home thinking it was just me. When I had it later that night, I didnt feel good again. Oh well.... I am willing to give it another shot... Maybe some chicken fried steak. I have always heard good things about Kearneys. I just left disappointed.

Went there to try for the first time and I would say it was not a pleasant experience. First off before even being seated me and my boyfriend where on their radar for something that they went and blew out of proportion. I owe no explanation to the staff but I m a very emotional person and I cry when I hungry my boyfriend came over to comfort me and give me a hug and I guess someone took it as him tackling me . As soon as we walked in staff was asking me if everything was ok. I was extremely confused and said yes and we went on with being seated. The whole time that we were sitting I could feel not only customers but staff as staring at us as well. My boyfriend went to the restroom for medical reasons and that s when their host asked if I was safe which I understand. However even after I informed staff of the situation they kept staring at us and making both me and my boyfriend uncomfortable. So much so that I took like 3 bites of my plate. I felt like I was being judged not only that but they accused my boyfriend of being abusive which absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention police showed up. So not only did they waste my time but the police s time as well. I called and was told they would call me back which did not happen. I had to call again the next morning was told to call at 7 so I could speak to the manager that was there the time of the incident which I understood but still frustrating. Called at 7 only to be told that he wasn t there. Was finally able to get in touch with him, and explained the situation and that I wanted a refund for my meal. He said that there was nothing he could do as there was nothing wrong with the food. I informed that it was more about the way that we where being treated and he said there was nothing that could be done. Look owe no one an explanation on how I handle my emotions but if I want to cry because I m hungry I should be able to. I just want them to take responsibility for how we where treated.

We read several reviews and chose to eat here on 12/13/2023, and were seated in the main dining area and not the bar area. This was our first time but after an excellent meal and service it will not be our last time. My wife ordered the Petite Chicken Fried Steak with a Loaded Baked Potato and a house salad. The Petite was big in size and together with the included potato and salad it was more then she could finish. In fact, I probably would have had trouble finishing that meal and I weigh 250lbs. BTW on the bill it is listed as HALF Chicken Fried Steak, I cant imagine the portion size of a whole Chicken Fired steak. She is a native Texan and stated the gravy, breading and meat was one of the better Chicken Fried Steaks she has eaten. I ordered the Patti Melt with Fries and enjoyed every bite. There was a sufficient amount of sautéed onions and the burger to Texas Toast ratio was perfect. I also enjoyed the hand cut fries that were dense and firm and had a real potato taste. After my wife finished her salad, maybe 5 minutes later both main dishes were delivered to our table hot by our very attentive waiter Caleb. I requested an additional cup of 1000 Island during my meal and it was delivered promptly. Caleb also checked on us to make sure all is well twice. Thank you for the great service. Lastly my wife ordered a glass of wine and I had a predinner mixed drink and then a beer with dinner. You cant go wrong with Happy Hour $2 off Mixed Drinks and $1 off Beers. Fair prices, good portions, great taste and excellent service....You cant ask for more, all 5 Stars....Thank you, we will be back.

Okay okay first off I loved the food here! Everything was phenomenal except our waiter. He must of been high. Now Im not saying it in a negative way but i waited on my second margarita for like 5 mins and then when he came back he asked had he already brought it to me. And when we first got there he took our drink orders and it was literally 25 minutes before we ever placed our food order. The food was to die for though like we had brisket nachos as an appetizer, I highly recommend them. The portion is well enough to accommodate a party of 4( its a lot) not one complaint on the food. If you like spicy food I recommend what I had which was the Cajun pasta dish. They had a lot to choose from the bar . Im not sure if it was the manager or the owner but a man came around and asked if we were okay. I didnt snitch on the waiter at the time. I waited to blast it on the internet. Yea I also will say what an amazing atmosphere. Its super cute comfy and just awesome dining experience. It was 3 of us three bar drinks 1 appetizer and 3 entrees it came to like 80 something bucks. Parking: Very spacious parking lot. I felt comfortable leaving my car unlocked not that I did I have auto locks. Not always a good thing.

Ill start with the food was excellent! The staff was perfect! The attentiveness was excellent! My server was the best server Ive ever had. She was very friendly and had perfect customer service. Her timing and attentiveness was absolutely amazing. She needs a raise or promotion. She should be a trainer or manager. I wish ever server was just like her at every restaurant I frequent. Every single employee had a smile, was friendly and were helpful even if I wasnt their table. They actually appeared to enjoy their job. I really appreciate a restaurant the is 50/50 when it comes to bar vs restaurant. This place has it all. No matter what setting you are looking for they have it. I highly recommend this restaurant and I am a hard critic. A++++ guys and gals. Keep up the good work and this restaurant will have great success. Thank you!!!!!!!!

It took a little longer than expected to be recognized sitting at the bar. Bartenders were more catering to the regulars. We waited patiently to get our food order taken. We were about to just pay for the beer and go eat elsewhere. We finally decided to share a burger. Our burger that was split between us (we shared because we have never been there) was actually wrong. We had to wait for them to recognize us again, after trying several times to get their attention for a second plate. Then she noticed the burger was wrong. We didnt want to wait another 30 minutes for a single burger. All in all, I doubt we will return.

Table was sticky. The chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak werent breaded well- it completely slid off the meat. The chicken had a weird, tough texture. Mac n cheese was grainy and the Caesar dressing was sour. Waiter didnt refill our drinks. List goes on.

My grandson got the steak & eggs breakfast. He said the steak was excellent. I got the grilled cheese with bacon & tomato. Very good. We tried the jalapeño cheese puffs. Very good also. Will definitely go again & tell my friends about this place.

We go to Kearneys about once a month when we are in the area and always have a great time. The wait staff is great (Katie is our fave), the food is good, and the kids enjoy running around in the back. We always look forward to going back!

Super fun atmosphere, great food, awesome staff. Also, appreciate yall helping me after I walked out with my giant goose named Gertrude, but left my purse at the table, not realizing it until checking in at the hotel. Ultimate walk of shame but yall handled it with grace. This might go down as the weirdest review Ive ever left for an establishment.

I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which was excellent! Our waitress was such a sweet girl. Was very happy to see there was a nice bar area with live singer. Whoever made my cocktail, a Manhattan, gets an A+ from me. Great experience on a Thursday night. Will definitely be back!

My fiancé ordered the shrimp cajun pasta but was brought the chicken, though he did still enjoy it. I ordered the chopped steak, which was not at all what I thought it would be, but thats on me. It was my first time here. Flavor wise, it was okay, I would not order it again. I also ordered fried pickles, tortilla soup, and cesar salad, which I found were ALL overly salty. The parking was very packed and confusing. Im not sure if Ill be coming here again. Kid-friendliness: Although I sat inside, I noticed that if you sat outside, they had a play area for kids.

Kailey was awesome. Let me start by saying this was our fault. 26 people on a Saturday at 4:30pm. But I called all week at least 5 times Rob/?/Maria to confirm the best time. The wait staff was amazing as for the hostess she was just let s say not a fan of us in 30 seconds for some reason I felt like she was not helping, hostess left it up to waitress Kailey, manager Maria and helpers Q/?/.ALL THE HAMBURGER PATTIES WERE OVERCOOKED BURNT CHALKY. EVEN THE BABIES HAMBURGER. 6 HAMBURGER PATTIES. The chicken fried steak was fresh and delicious. The Salmon smelled on the edge of going bad. I smelled the Salmon when the staff came in the room with the Salmon. I had to buy my brothers meal because the meal was so BAD. THE HAMBURGER PATTY WAS BURNT CHALKY GRAVY was COLD, his broccoli was not cooked at all, the baked potato was the worst, not cooked at high enough temperature or pulled out to soon. And it was a family get together and didn t want any problems. We tipped the waitress a lot of money for being so so awesome. The waitress was so happy. ALL THE OTHER MEALS WERE GOOD. Brisket was not very good. The brisket was dry and old tasting. 20 good meals 6 awful horrible meals. The appetizers were delicious.

The best part of our visit was the live music, which was absolutely top notch! Singers were very good and not so loud that they dominated the dinner experience. The food was good, but not great. We had the chopped steak which was tasty with gravy, but bland without. Mashed potatoes had an odd consistency, but werent bad. Broccoli was nice and fresh, but a little too al dente. Salad was fresh. And our server was excellent!
