This is one of my favorite places in Sugar Land, definitely a high end place to take your loved one or impress your clients. I had the tomahawk and their special tequila drink which comes with a golden ice cube. Great place overall!

Ziad, our waiter was truly exceptional. His attention to detail and amazing customer service made this one of the best meals me and my husband have ever eaten.Highly recommend the Koji aged steak, crab cakes and crème brûlée. He took care of us very well, food came out fresh, delicious and within a reasonable amount of time. The decor was superb and we enjoyed the quiet intimate dinner. Ziad went above and beyond as this was our first time here and we cannot wait to be back and request his assistance again. Thank you so much Ziad for making this such a memorable experience.

Matt is horrible. I had to go find a manager to even get service. I hate I found him. We sat for 17 minutes at cocktail table and was not greeted. Being that we sat so long, we were ready to order. He said can get you all anything from the bar we proceeded to order he said umm that comes from bar. He was so rude the entire time. The service sucked. We literally could have went to salt grass, long horn, or churrascos. This is the first time my service was horrible here. I think the bad taste is in my mouth from MATT. Yaz was actually okay once he made his way around. They need a manager that is helpful and love there job not one that NEEDS ANY job!

We celebrated my grandson s birthday. There were seven of us and our server Michael was great. He went out of his way to take of us. I appreciated that when the check was brought to us, it was pointed out that the tip was already included. Our steaks were cooked as ordered and very good and all the food was very tasty.

Everything was good, not great but good. My only real complaint would be that the wines have no vintages on the menu?! They have some great wines, but how am I meant to judge if they are firstly ready to be opened or the value without knowing the age? I did enquire about the Opus One but unfortunately it was years away from early drinking.

The food was AMAZING! The service was great, the bathroom was really nice, they had paper towels. That is a huge plus for me. Asked for a medium rare stake, and that is exactly what I got. 10 out of 10 for sure. I paid $164.18 after tip, so kinda pricey for 1 person. Overall, amazing experience.

Let me start out by just saying this is a very difficult review to do as I have been dining with Perrys for over 20 years. The Cypresswood location is by far our favorite as I have eaten it every. Perrys in the greater Houston area and always seem to end up back at Cypresswood which is about 35 minutes from our home. Let me continue by saying that this location of Perrys is a five-star review restaurant. If theres ever anything bad they make it right.... enough said. The food is fabulous Ive left numerous reviews and its always a treat to have a chef special. Now so whats important, I booked a seating for Saturday July 13th to celebrate my wife and is 34th wedding anniversary. Everything was awesome we sat at our favorite booth in the bar area while the Astros games was on. Only to be rattled by multiple texts from our family that the president had just gotten shot. We quickly scurried to our phones looking for additional information. We called over a manager, his name was Darren I believe. And we calmly ask if he could turn one of the four or five TVs onto the news....and that the president of the United States had been shot. He stated he knew the president been shot but hes going to be okay I think....and he said they had multiple requests for the Astros game. The Astros game was over it was the after game show! Nonetheless he refused to change the television. Its time for the silent majority to wake up and say what really needs to be said... Excuse me sir are you American? I dont care what political party you are for...if a president gets shot I want to know about it because somebody else is getting ready to take over our country. Ill stop my rant my friends, just want everybody to think about whats really important in this world nowadays.. Perrys is a fabulous restaurant...you cant go wrong. Along with business parties of 30 people Ive done over the years and Ive had numerous holidays as well with my bride and family over the last 20 years, this one special occasion was unfortunately ruined by the simple act or I should say a managers lack of service. Dang it sometimes you got to do the right thing. The president is the president doesnt matter whether hes red or blue.... Or past president or current president.

Last night, my wife and I dined at Perry s in Sugarland before a concert we were attending. We made a reservation on Open Table for 6PM and arrived about 10 minutes early. After a brief wait, we were escorted through the beautifully lit and decorated dining room to a side dining room, which was lit in a way I can only describe as surgical, like a cheap Vegas buffet. Fifteen minutes after being seated, we were finally offered water. Another 10 minutes later, we were given cold and stale bread. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, and after we ordered, we noticed the table seated before us hadn t ordered yet. When we finally got our server s attention, we asked for more bread. We were brought another loaf that was warm but still stale. We received our food, and it was sufficient. The steak and tater totter appetizer was lovely, and we shared the pork chop, which was carved unenthusiasticly table side by a silent server. We ordered the Mac and cheese as a side with $15 extra for lobster. I can honestly say I ve had better boxed macaroni and cheese, and the measly amount of lobster on top was probably worth about $1. The chop was fine, but not exceptional. We had to get to the concert so requested the check. Our server boxed up our leftovers and quickly returned our check to sign, saying not so much as a thank you or good bye. We have had such good meals at Perry s previously and when attending a concert at Smart Financial Center, it s usually our go-to restaurant. It was disappointing, to say the least. Every aspect of this dining experience was lacking. I don t think we will return to this location. For the money, it wasn t worth it.

Usually enjoy this steakhouse. Come here monthly with my cousin for dinner & lemon drops. New trainee, Brandon ruined the monthly decision bcuz we won t be back. Worst service ever. He messed up our order, took forever to bring our Cesar salads, and even messed our drink orders up by changing the choice of Ketel One to Grey Goose just because HE wanted to. Then get sassy when we asked for a manager once he brought uncooked steaks to our table. We ended up spending an additional hour there while we waiting for our food to be remade. Horrible experience on a Thursday evening. Will not ever be back June 27 Came again for more disappointment. Adrian the bartender started off pleasant but showed his disinterest quickly. Crabcakes ordered were visibly over cooked but he still gave them & seemed bothered when I commented on the dryness of the cakes. If I could leave a photo I would.

i came here for dinner with my boyfriend and multiple servers were just staring because we weren t dressed up, i understand having a dress code but that s something they should tell you at the door. they came up and told my boyfriend he can t wear his hat backwards which isn t a big deal but the looks from other servers was what made us so uncomfortable. i don t know if it s because we re younger or the way we were dressed but it s rude and basic manners to not stare at people especially customers. i work at a restaurant so i understand rules are rules but ive never stared at a customer for not fitting the attire. our server was very sweet but the server just standing around and looking at us was weird. food was good and Our server was good but it was weird. i hope the host don t get in trouble for letting us in lol

I came here with my girlfriend on a dinner date and it was very awkward and we felt super out of place. I have never been there before and had no idea it was on the fancier side and they had a dress code. I walked in wearing shorts, t shirt, and backwards cap. They let us in and seated us but definitely felt like we were being judged. Soon after sitting down the whole place seemed to be giving us wierd glares and one of the employees told me to turn my hat around. One of the managers was staring at us for quite some time and appeared to be talking bad about us. It was very uncomfortable and we felt like we were being judged and stared at the whole time. I wish they wouldve said something about the attire when we walked in. Our sever was very nice though, didnt catch her name. I explained I felt very uncomfortable and didnt know there was a dress code but she said dont worry about looks or judgement as we were welcome. If you see this review, thank you, you made us very happy. Food was good but wasnt really worth the price imo. I felt like they thought were gonna get cheap food and tip low at first since were younger and looked out of place but that wasnt the case. As soon as we ordered our food(on the pricey side) our treatment seemed different but none the less very awkward. Probably will never come back cause I felt like we definitely were not welcome and the whole staff minus our server were staring intensely and whispering to one another.

Sat there for about 10 minutes and no one NOT one person comes to see us, then 2 more tables sat down by our sides one was guided with a host and right away, they were served with waters while we sat there with no menus then the male waiter told the hostess you know its just me here right? Worst Mother s Day brunch experience ever. The restaurant was unprepared, unprofessional and service was rushed. Will definitely not be back or recommend! When we arrived the tables and chairs were wet and the lady expected us to sit like that she seemed new and has no experience with customer service at all after a 25 min wait to even be seated. Those flowers were thrown in the middle AFTER we were already seated. $18 margarita with more ice than anything. As you can see there s several drinks meaning we were consuming. Had to leave Houston to get back to DFW for a baby delivery that was coming 2 weeks early. Called Perry s and asked them to expedite a Pork Chop, Asparagus, I guess I didn t specify the fried version, and got the prerequisite bread and apple sauce. They got it ready post haste and I was off. One on the road I had a wonderful meal, albeit messy, Houston Friday traffic was extraordinarily light and made the trip to Baylor Grapevine w :45 minutes to go until baby girl came to see us. The only thing better would ve been to have gotten the Friday special $, but it all went smoothly. Love Perry s. Would recommend and will return!

Tonight was the first visit to Perry s that we had bad meals. We were with another couple celebrating my wife s birthday. First they did not have my reservation made with the table reservation service. Got us in anyway. The ladies ordered redfish which they turned back. It was so salty thy couldn t eat it. The men had ahi tuna and it was not much better. It too had a crusty cover that too was so salty we had a hard time eating it. We had to cut the crust off and then it was eatable. Chef really messed up pieces of good fish. Diss appointed for what thought we thought would be a great evening. Not sure we will order seafood again, if we come back. What happened to your chef??

I have been going to Perrys for over 10 years and never have I had the experience as of last Friday 4/12/2024. I went for a late lunch to enjoy my birthday;ordering a salad and the porkchop special. The water had a sewer like taste I informed the watress and her option was I can purchase a bottle of $3 water, which I did. My favorite dessert is their Banana Foster but not anymore. When I ordered the Banana Foster the waitress brought the items to make it with however she was pointing the torch directly towards me trying vigorously to start it. Thankfully I was leaning away from her because she set the entire serving tray on fire almost causing 3rd degree burns on me. Everything was a flame but the desert which wasnt edible. I presented the matter to the manager and he only wanted to know where was I sitting? 70.00$ birthday lunch and made to feel like 1$

The one star is for the bartender, Adrian. The food was great, even though I requested my burger cooked medium well, it came out almost rare. On this date, April 12, 2024, Adrian was excellent, it was his female co-worker that made me write this review. Upon making our payment, she thanked my boyfriend for his very generous tip. I said to her, that it was for Adrian, as he did all the work. She looked at me turned around and threw the ticket book on the register, slammed down the change and walked away with a major aggressive attitude. She then came back and snatched wine glasses and water glasses. WOW! How unprofessional can you be? All because I pointed out the tip wasn t for her because she came in way after we were seated, and had ordered our meal. I will make it a point to contact her manager. My first time in Houston and my husband ,sister, and brother n lovE ventured to Perrys!!! We starter with calamari, the waygu ribeye,vegan chopped steak, salmon, and filet with a crab cake. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated, but no one approached us for approximately 15 minutes. Finally, a busboy approached and asked of we had been assisted. We advised we had not, and he went to find our waiter, and further stated that he had also advised the manager that we had not been assisted in a timely manner. Our waiter was courteous, but we were advised that they were out of the first drink my wife ordered. Everything went smoothly for a while, the manager came and asked for our names, but didnt say anything else to us regarding the service. The food was excellent. When the bill came, they left the drink that my wife had ordered that they were out of on the bill. This was corrected. While the food was great, the service was far below the quality that I would expect given the pricing. Our total bill for two people was $223 with a $30 tip ( I always tip regardless of service quality). We werent sure why the manager came to ask our names if she wasnt going to comp anything. We will not be back to this location.

Let me preface it by saying that the service is incredible . The people take really good care of you, however after hearing so much about this place, the food was a bit of a let down . Sunday in the bar was a stellar experience- the pork chop seemed even better than usual and our server, Johnny, was exceptional. I would ask to be seated in his area the next time I return. Manager Rolando was attentive and very personable. 10 stars for this experience!

Just popped in after some shopping. Had a great social hour special that included their delicious burger, fries and, a glass of Bordeaux for $19 (I upgraded to the bacon burger for $21.50)! Cant beat that! Service was quick and they were totally accommodating with my request for the upgrade. Also had a delicious salted caramel expresso martini for dessert, which was prepared perfectly by their friendly bartender. I also noted them greeting the regulars by name. Will return!

My experience was AMAZING! The presentation from start to finish was unmatched. I celebrate my birthday here annually but due to pandemic and relocation I had not been since 2022 HOWEVER they have never disappointed. This was my first time eating at Perry s and I was so impressed. There is a dress code, so be prepared for that. I didn t know and they asked me to turn my backwards baseball cap forward - no big deal. The service was great, beautiful restaurant, and the food was so amazing. The filet was so flavorful and tender - out of this world. The corn brûlée was a surprise - so delicious! Can t wait to go back!

Today is my mom s birthday and my first time at this restaurant. It blew my expectations out of the water. First, they told my mom Happy Birthday and let her know she would be getting a free dessert. I love how they paid attention to the fact it was her birthday. The service, food, and music was impeccable. The atmosphere was that of a fancy late night dinner date. Victor, our server, was polite, attentive, and friendly. He took care of our every need and offered an array of choices when we were looking at the menu. Will be returning. Wonderful experience! If youve never been Ill just tell you now....get the pork chop! Its what theyre famous for and this location had the best one of my many pork chops. It was amazing. Their lobster bisque is always great too! Drinks are made well. Service is always superb. We went for dinner and the room was dim with spot lights at each table making you feel like the only ones around. I highly recommend it here!

Was a bit surprised to see the 18% added to the bill with a family of six but ok. Guess they didn t want a 20% tip lol. What really got me was the service. The guys who brought the food out had no idea what the food was. And the server not once checked on our drinks. We had nothing the last 20 min of our meal and desert. Very bizarre for this as Perry s is usually the opposite experience in the last 100 times we have been in the last 20+ years we have been going. No manager was sweeping around and checking on tables to see how everyone s food was either so maybe they were busy doing who knows what tonight? Dinner was on a Saturday around 6 on 12/09/23

Calamari and burger were over cooked, the grilled oysters were greasy and too salty (and I like salt), martini was too dirty, and old fashion was too sweet.
