I recently visited Renus kitchen and I felt like I found a gem specially if you are craving the Punjabi Delhi chat delicacies! We ordered the Dahi Bhalla, Samosa, chole kulche and aloo puff. The dishes tasted homemade and were prepared with care. This place has one of the best samosa I have eaten by far in Houston. The filing is slightly spicy making it the closest to Punjabi masala we generally would find in India (Delhi specially). The samosa masala is not blend at all like the other places. The kulcha is worth it! Its so soft and at the same time well done to get the right amount of crisp!

I recently tried their Chole Bhature, and it felt like I was instantly transported to Delhi. The goat curry was incredibly authentic, easy on the stomach, and, of course, delicious. The Dahi Bhalla was bursting with flavors. I absolutely loved the food and was impressed by Inders amazing hospitality. This place is definitely my new favorite, and I cant wait to go back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Renus kitchen, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. I called in my order early, and it was ready right on time when I arrived. The place was spotless, which immediately gave me a good impression. The staff, especially the gentleman who assisted me, were incredibly polite and welcoming. Despite my order being relatively small, they treated me with the utmost respect and care. Went to Renu s kitchen with a party of 12 for dinner right around closing time. We were the only customers there at that time. The owners made no mention of the closing time and promptly went about taking our orders, recommending some items and preparing the food. We had the saag planner, chicken tikka, pani puri, chai, gulab jamun and a never ending stream of Chole Bhature. Everything was amazing from the quality to the taste. It was served hot, fresh and quickly. Easily some of the best and authentic Indian food in Houston. As good as the food was, the owners were the highlight. They were extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating. They provided exceptional service and came out and talked to the whole family throughout the dinner. They were comfortable talking to kids as they were to the parents and the grandparents. Could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely go back often.

Awesome Indian (Delhi) food Inder (the co-owner) and his wife (and Chef) Renu were very hospitable and asked how we would like to customize the order for my Mother when we visited this afternoon. Very considerate of them. My wife and I had the chole batura- simply divine (two baturas and chole in each plate). Mother had jeera rice and daal tadka. Food is prepared fresh after order is placed and arrived piping hot. The primary business model is through catering. Over 200 items available through catering website. So very small storefront with just a few tables. Eating there is on paper plates and plastic utensils. (hence the two stars for atmosphere ). Overall great food. Will visit again. Dietary restrictions: Willing to fine tune spice level and even amount of fat (oil) used in preparation of the dish.

I was attended to with a smile and they were VERY PLEASANT AND KIND! I went there after my students father recommended it to me. He knows I love Indian food. I ordered my food to go. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very calm and inviting. They explained the menu to me and gave me recommendations on what to try. When I got the chance to try my meal, my tastebuds immediately began to sing. I had the butter chicken and the fried bread (forgot the name). Do you like Indian food? This is the place to take your American friends to show them what real Indian food is like. Everyone will love it. Im American so as a baseline I often order butter chicken at a new place. I did that here and it was phenomenal. Get it with roti, skip the rice and eat with your hands. Also be sure to try the pani puri, it was awesome. Everything is made in-house: its wonderful! Stop looking for other places and go eat here. Gujiya is a dessert I never had before. They make it fresh here and you should try it, too, if you like to have a good time.

Dined in and had lunch special butter chicken and tikka masala. Food was good and on the more refreshing side, unlike some other styles that are heavier. I like a little spice in my food and found the levels enjoyable, my girlfriend on the other hand struggled, but pushed through and enjoyed it. The lunch special can definitely be 2 meals, or 1 if you are very hungry. Dining area is small and food is made to order so isnt the quickest. Not bad to dine in at, but would recommend placing a Togo order and picking it up when they text you.

One of the Best places I have found in town for Delhi style chaat, food & much more. We tired there chole bhature, I would rate it a 10/10 properly spiced and the bhaturas were really nice. Then we tried bhel puri , much recommended for spicy food lover, it had a nice sweet , tangy & spicy kick to it. Chole bhatura right out of Delhi had me captivated, the flavors from the spice base to the well steamed chole all perfectly melded together. The gulab jamun are sold in individual containers (less to feel guilty about) and are served cold (would love a warm option as well). Will definitely be back to try more food here soon! Our Dining Experience My family and I dined in at this restaurant as they recently opened up a space for indoor seating. Food We ordered the Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, naan, paratha, and drinks. The dishes tasted homemade and were prepared with care. While the mango lassi was pre-packaged, the chaai (tea) reminded us of our time in Delhi. The curries were traditional North Indian style. We particularly loved the special flavor of the Chicken Tikka Masala dish. However, the Palak Paneer and Goat Curry were also delicious choices. Business Renu, the wife, is the lady of the kitchen, while her husband, Inder, manages the front cashier. Their son also helps out. It is a small, family-owned business. Remarks I hope the dine-in space can improve as I understand the overhead costs are high for a new and small business. The indoor seating area can comfortably accommodate about 5-6 people, so I noticed most customers placed catering or take-out orders. My husband and I will definitely be back to satisfy our cravings. Thanks to Inder for checking in on us frequently! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options with lentils, chickpeas, and paneer.
