The pizza and salad here are nothing short of amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite left me wanting more. The freshness of the ingredients and the care put into every dish really stood out. Whether youre craving something light and refreshing like the salad or a perfectly baked, delicious pizza, this place has you covered. I can t recommend it enough 100% worth a visit for an unforgettable meal!

I ordered and paid online thinking it would avoid the wait- we had to wait over half an hour. So many people came in and left and still our order was not attended to. The pizzas were done but the bruschetta had to be waited on. The staff weren t attentive to us and didn t even go right away to ask the back on the status of the appetizer. I m super disappointed that this wasn t a good experience. This is my first time ordering at this location and it ll probably be my last. Service: 1/10

Its a good place to eat pizza but dining in is FAR better than take-out. It can take 1 hour + to get your order, and they dont tell customers that until AFTER youve ordered (and paid). And the take-out pizza is just not as fresh, and not as good quality as dining in. For what you pay for this pizza, it should be premium quality and its just not.

Grimaldis Pizza in Sugar Land has been our go-to spot for delicious pizza ever since they opened. The quality and taste are consistently amazing, with perfectly baked, thin-crust pizzas that are just the right balance of crispy and chewy. The variety of toppings is excellent, and you can truly taste the fresh ingredients in every bite. Whether were dining in or taking out, the service is always friendly and efficient, making each visit a great experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. If youre in the area and craving pizza, Grimaldis is definitely the place to go! Highly recommended!

Grimaldis offers a unique and delightful take on pizza, blending traditional flavors with a Mediterranean twist. The crust is consistently thin and crispy, providing a perfect base for their inventive toppings. You can expect fresh ingredients like feta cheese, kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and a variety of flavorful herbs. The combination of these ingredients delivers a refreshing and savory experience, distinguishing it from typical pizzeria offerings. While it might not satisfy purists looking for classic styles, its a great choice for those looking to explore new and exciting pizza flavors.

The first table we sat at there was a drip from the air conditioning unit and then they agreed to move us to the table next to us, but there was food remnants all over the bench and sausage on the floor so they moved us to option table number three. The waiter was not very attentive, it took him a while to get over to place our order and then my water glass went empty at least twice, but then when he left our tabs, he was very quick to try to retrieve them and apparently it was his last shift and he was ready to clock out so he cleared out table and was rushing us of sorts. I think, too, what bothered me, even though they knew that there was trash on the table and floor next to us. nobody ever came over and cleaned up while we were there. There were several that were standing in the open area of the kitchen, so it could have been handled. The hostess was very diligent in cleaning the front glass on the doors, and taking care of things Food was good, as always Just not my best service experience.

The only problem is that an order of 2 pizzas can take over an hour, no matter if you go in pick hours or non pick hours, they will still take over an hour. So make sure if you go to this place, you are not too hungry nor have kids that are hungry. We have been there many times but we stop going there due to the time of service.

We love their pizza. The crust is divine. However, We went on a Saturday around 1pm. It was busy but there were open tables. We were seated promptly and thats where it went downhill. We sat there and sat there, i could see the host person trying to figure out who was going to cover our table. he asked the bartender who lol shook his head no. He asked several other staff and eventually pulled a waiter from the other side of the restaurant. We tried to order a Peroni beer but they were out. Odd that an Italian restaurant was out of an Italian beer but meh... We ordered and waited for the salad to come out. It came out and literally didnt have any cesar dressing, so tried flagging down the person that brought it out in the first place (not our waiter) but couldnt get his attention for anything. No one would make eye contact with me, so i got up and interrupted someone who looked like a manager. I explained what happened and someone (not our waiter) brought us the dressing. The pizza came out and it was right for what we ordered, i will say the toppings looked a little sparse for what we are used to. The flavor was good and it was hot. The waiter was pleasant enough but you could tell they had staffing and or organization issues. We will come back (sit at a different table) because the food is that good.

This has been our 4th-5th time visiting this location at the First Colony Mall. We usually come around the same time (1-2PM) and there is always a long wait for our food, which is understandable since it s rush hour. The main issue in this location is hands down, their SERVICE. All of the times that we come here the experience is always the same. Hostess are never friendly when they greet you and appear to be overwhelmed or confused when you walk in the door even when the restaurant is empty. This time we had a younger male hostess, and we requested a specific a table which was open but dirty. We had no problem waiting for it, but he appeared to be bothered and even sighed when asked for it to be cleaned. We said thank you, and he just shook his head and didn t say anything back. This time our waitress was great. Her name is Mia (short hair girl), you turned our experience around completely!! We appreciate and thank you! Waitresses in the past have been inattentive (they literally forget about our table). It is a little over priced, but the taste is good. If we come back, we will just request Mia, she s great!

Typically I expect this place to serve amazing pizza with quick and attentive service. Tonight I think was an off-night. The restrooms were not in good shape. One stall door was completely removed, and the other stall had a clogged toilet. I made sure to inform staff about the clogged toilet, I then walked all the way to Cheesecake Factory to use the restroom. When I came back to use the restroom an hour later (small bladder), the toilet was still clogged, and your only option was to use the toilet with the removed stall. Luckily a girl was there to help spot me while I used the public bathroom. The entire evening that I spent there, I basically had to make sure someone would spot me when using the toilet. We ordered 2 pizzas, and the first one came within 20-30 minute. The second pizza took almost an hour since ordering! We received numerous apologies from the server, but no upper management came to apologize for the very long wait period. I guess I have big expectations if I expected management to apologize, but it certainly takes away from the eating experience. When we finally received the missing pizza, it was soggy and didn t taste as good as the first pizza we ordered that came in time. We also had a friend who ordered a calzone with 2 toppings, but it came without sauce. Unless calzones are now being served burnt and without sauce, you d be better off spending $16 elsewhere for a calzone that comes with more than dough and the toppings you pay extra for. Our friend was lactose intolerant so he literally just ate dough with 2 toppings. Overall, I ve lost all hope for this Grimaldi s location. The neglected women s restrooms should ve been the biggest indicator for how much this location is suffering. I recommend avoiding this location and going to another Grimaldi s location like the one in city center (memorial city). Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate for dairy-free options. Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly with booster seats available at request.

Whenever the family wanted a true Italian Pizza... Grimaldis Pizza was the top of my list for years. Not sure what happened to the place but the pizza and calzone was awful my last few stops. Im going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume since I ordered to go, that is why both orders were cold even though when I got there 20 minutes earlier than the pick-up time and the order was sitting in the heating box. Guess Ill have to remove this historical go-to spot off my list of places to patronize.

Took forever to seat us despite restaurant being empty. 2. The water had visible particles floating around. 3. The Caesar salad had no croutons. Not sure if that s standard for them or they ran out. 4. One of the slices of pizza we received had what looked like Parmesan cheese on it while the others didn t. Not sure if someone returned it or what. We will not be returning to this location at least.

Grimaldis is our favorite pizza other than when I make it homemade. It has ruined all other pizza for us to where we would rather not get pizza than to eat a non-Grimaldis chain pizza. Even the times it is really busy and we have had to wait it is always worth it. We have been to this location for dine in and pick up at least a dozen times this year alone and its the best. This location is in a nice spot if you want to sit outside in the shopping area and watch your kids play on the turf grass, or even watch a movie when they screen them. If youve never been, you can park by Macys or Cheesecake Factory and its a short walk.

We arrived between lunch and dinner, and we were told that their ovens were cleaned mid day, and we needed to rush to place our order. Otherwise, we would have to wait? The entire experience went down from there. Pizza came first. Then our appetizer came. We ordered salads and the holiday charcuterie board. They forgot the sliced bread. After multiple requests for bread, the waitress blamed it on staff as she took no responsibility, but it was important for her to tell us it was someone elses fault. Overall experience was pitiful.

What I can say is that it was delicious, and its my favorite pizza spot now. They actually do filter the water to make the sauce taste good. The cheese blends in perfectly with the sauce and the meat. The coal fire created a thin, crispy crust that complimented the sauce perfectly. I cant say how authentic it is, but I can say its very, very good and worth a trip for anyone who likes pizza.

I decided to take a little self care time and dine alone for lunch. The restaurant wasnt incredibly busy during lunch hours on a Saturday but also not slow either. I was seated almost immediately upon entering but near two large tables of families dining. This was a small annoyance, but Id say the very long wait for service was beyond reasonable. It took so long for a single glass of wine, and the order for pizza took very long. By long, I mean I nearly finished my glass before my server even took my order. I decided that since service is slow, Id order a second glass while I wait. Well... the pizza came some 30 minutes later... no glass of wine. I almost didnt want the second glass anymore by the time it finally arrived. Also, if my server had taken my order sooner, I would not have spent 1.5 hours there with the majority of that time waiting for service. I could hear the large tables complaining about the service and long waits, and the kids were getting restless. Maybe it was an off day or something, but I dont think the pizza is worth the service.

Saturday afternoon, You were understaffed, and the staff running the place seemed to be zooted out of their minds on Xanax or Ketamine. The young man who said he was going to seat us took the better part of 5 minutes at a table cleaning it stared at it, then walked off. Nobody seemed to be in charge. Sitting down took about 20 minutes, getting an order in about another 10-15. Then about 20-30 to get food. The best part - the cooks do not know the difference between jalapeños and green olives. The pizza was covered in them. It wasnt bad, just weird and not what we ordered. The food took so long to get out that we just went with it. There may have been 15-20 total people in the restaurant. 5 pizza cooks, and 2 servers. All high as kites. Learn your veggies.

Although the food is great the service is awful. We have waited for a table while the place was empty. We also were told they had a bunch of free tables but no staff to clean them. They seem to have no management on site either. This was on a Friday night as well. Seems a little crazy when all they serve is pizza. We even asked if we could just order our pizza while we waited so we can eat once seated and they said no. I then asked to order take out and they said that will take over an hour! Looks like they did not want my business.

It is my hope that someone at the top of the food chain of command (lol) reads this post. I visited with a guest for lunch and was seated at a broken booth/chair. When the waiter came back I informed him we needed to move. We moved tables and placed our order for a Don. After that he was never to be seen from again, he never once came back to the table. No refills, no service,crickets... when it came time to get the check we had to bother a swet waitress who was noticeably overwhelmed doing everyone elses work. While waiting it became apparent that this location is dirty. The spices were old and the bottles never cleaned.Gross. We come prepared to wait that being said I expect service while I wait. Cutting corners shows....

Grimaldis Pizzeria is hands down one of the best dining experiences Ive had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The waiter, in particular, was absolutely fantastic. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they provided excellent recommendations that suited our preferences perfectly. The service was impeccable throughout the entire meal. Our drinks were never empty, and our food arrived promptly and piping hot. The waiter was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience to the fullest. Now, lets talk about the star of the show the pizza. Grimaldis truly knows how to craft a masterpiece. The crust was thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, complementing the generous toppings and perfectly melted cheese. Each bite was a burst of pure pizza perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere created a welcoming and enjoyable environment. The staffs professionalism and friendliness further enhanced the dining experience, making us feel like valued guests throughout our visit. In summary, Grimaldis Pizzeria deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The exceptional service provided by our waiter, coupled with the outstanding quality of their pizza, made for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether youre a pizza aficionado or simply looking for a fantastic meal, this place is an absolute must-visit.

We were seatted at the table by the hostess. There were only a few tables occupied. We seated there for about 15 min and nobody came to us to take our order or give us some water at least. Even though there were plenty of waiters just walking around.

We usually love ordering in Grimaldi s. Today we ordered through DoorDash and our order kept being pushing back until it was delayed over an hour. When I called the store to check on it I was hung up on - twice. The order was delayed so much that the store closed before I could cancel my order. Pizza is good - not good enough for that much of a wait. Definitely don t order on a Saturday night.

We arrived @ 12:50 under the premise we would receive our food in a timely manner, WRONG! We sat for 1 hour with no food and servers who we preoccupied, they finally came by our table at the 45 min mark. We were met with an apology then given a your food will be out in 5 min. Well it was 15 min later and by that time we had to leave due to a previous engagement scheduled for 1430 (that s 2:30 for you non military/LE types). I have to say I was quite disappointed because this was the first time we ever received poor service from this location. And to add insult to injury we were charged full price for a lukewarm pizza! Needless to say we will not return especially since the staff had an a matter-of-fact attitude about the whole situation. Recommendation - get it together, staff correctly and own up to short comings and deficiencies when things go wrong.

The best pizza Ive had in Sugar Land with a small caveat. Also a very good location adjacent to First Colony Mall and lots of stores. The caveat is just that the pizza crust, probably due to the method of cooking, occasionally has a blackened crust. This can dramatically change the flavor but only happens about 10% of the time. The salads are also the best among the local pizza chains.

The waiting area was super warm, but we were seated after a few minutes.. the pizza was great overall. The red sauce was basic, but the mozzarella on the margarita style was super fresh! (No Topo Chico or Pellegrino for the non drinkers.) Attentive waitress, a full service bar and bustling carry out business.

We eat here all the time, mainly because the pizza is great. Service is pretty sub par. Tonight I felt compelled to leave a review in hopes that management would get a grip on the supreme lack of hospitality. When we came in tonight we sat at the bar - pretty standard. There was a bunch of left over food and drinks at the bar (no big deal), that sat there while two employees finished a long conversation while 2 feet from us. They then left walked away from the bar, definitely seeing the mess, but not my job . After the food was cleared, we sat there for 20 minutes while a number of employees and managers walked by until we had to awkwardly raise our voice to get attention. The food here is great, some of the staff is great. Maybe they just need more help. I think some hospitality training would go a long way though.

First off, we were really surprised when they handed my 3 boys their own pan with slices of pizza dough and flour on it. They had an absolute blast playing with the dough and really sparked some great conversations at the table with them. It made my wife and I happy to see the kids being happy and playing with pizza dough...so creative and unique! Secondly, the food was delicious. It did take a while for the food to get to us, but the waitress said that they were short staffed, and we were so busy having fun at the table that it was not too big of a deal. The food: my boys got a traditional 16inch pizza which gave them two large slices of pizza, about 4 pieces of we were cutting it at home. They did half pepperoni and half cheese. They ate it up and were full afterwards. My wife and I did a 16 calzone with chicken and bacon. We couldnt finish the calzone because we were full. The calzone was refreshingly delicious! I wanted to have artichoke in it, but adding other toppings bumped the price up quickly, and I cant remember if artichoke was an option. Overall, great experience! We stuck with waters because it was so hot outside and our bill stayed under 60 for 5 people.

I love Grimaldi s and I will continue to go, BUT NOT HERE. We waited almost an hour for our pizza! One pizza! No one even acknowledged us the whole time, and our waitress just sorta ignored us and not make eye contact, especially when we were staring straight at her trying to get her to look in our direction. I get it that sometimes it can get backed up in the kitchen, but at least come and tell us that. Give us an update, show some interest or concern. Never coming back to this location.

Patrick the food manager was the manage on site! He personally went over the entire menu! And Ill go over the three-course meal as follows: You can order salad and add on any extra and I got the Caesar salad Pizza comes in three different sizes and there is a couple dog difference between each I got that Arugala and I made sure not to get that much salt And also looked on a dessert menu and it was basically choice between are cannoli and an Oreo handmade cheesecake When I came into the stablish meant there was already people waiting but the hostesses make sure that everyone got a table and theres enough seating for the ready tables Theres a grand ballroom named after the founder that can seat 30 to 50 people In addition theres a bar you can also sit there and watch a game the NBA playoffs The biggest thing about their pizza is that its made from a coal oven and you can see the kitchen staff baking it preparing it Patrick supervising Arwa my server was very attentive and its quite busy and at least half the room was filled and theres always movement from either the Pizza kitchen to getting the refills on water or drinks and theres definitely a lot of alcohol and took pictures of all the wine They have half off wine days and you can find a lead servers behind the bar Genesis was very attentive about making sure that every single party that left in the table was clean and pictures of that as well Theres video of the center of the room and Ive included pictures of the decor as well!

Sad to say, I love their pizza and the atmosphere of this location. But today 4/15/23 we ordered wine and a pizza. Got the wine but the people behind us that arrived after us received their pizza before us. It was rather disappointing because we had to flag down our waitress to ask where our pizza was - instead of her coming to us before hand to say something. Sad thing is she had a great personality and we did NOT want to go out in the first place but we got ready and was craving Grimaldi s. This really ruined and wasted our day. :0( No pictures because we never received our PIZZA.
