Had a wonderful experience with my friend at the Sugar Land location off Hwy 6!! I think our instructor s name was Tamarica. She was very patient with us as our class was a bunch of book nerds acting silly! She came and helped and gave direction when asked and complimented our work as well! I drove 45min to come to this location because they offered the painting I wanted to do on a day that worked for me and I was not at all disappointed!

Thie host was very warm and kind, she had a calming voice and made this experience refreshing, we went as a celebration gift for my sisters birthday and not only were we able to try our hand at painting but we also added memories in this warm environment this is a great, relaxing place painting with a twist is a do-over event .by the way thanks to our host, of the Mahogany room on 8/10/24.

This was my first time doing this activity, I came for my birthday with my daughter. It was kind of hard to really enjoy ourselves because the air conditioning was out due to the storm we recently had. I totally understand that, but I just wish that would have been stated on the website while booking that way people are aware because for that price, you want to be comfortable and have a great time. It was very hot which I think kind of affected the instructor s mood as well. I respect the fact that she pushed through, but it was just uncomfortable for everyone physically due to the heat. Other than that, the experience was good.

I attended a session in Sugar Land with Carol as the artist. The session was fun. I have almost no experience painting on canvas and am happy with how my painting came out. The pledge before the session is funny. Definitely recommend. I will go again.

The class with painting Cheerful Bouquet on Sat, March 30, 2024, with Shanna, was fun and enjoyable. Shanna is great at instructing and going around to offer tips and help after she gives guidance to the entire group on how to paint each section of the painting. I love going to classes as I do learn more about painting each time I go.

It was an amazing experience, lots of fun and a calming activity at the same time. Thanks to Painting with a Twist! And special thanks to our instructor Louis, who made sure that it was an amazing and memorable experience for us! Location we picked was Sugar Land. When we planned to go for the class, all we expected was just painting. However, we got tons of bonuses: we painted, we played games, we sang, we danced, we listened to the great music, we joked, we laughed, we had fun. And I need to mention that we didn t bring any alcohol but boba tea, so I can imagine how much fun it was for people who were sipping their margaritas Not every class is like that. So if you want to have tons of fun, make sure you pick Louis as your instructor. We re definitely coming back =)

Worst experience ever felt rushed . It was supposed to be a mommy and me situation while the instructor brought her husband, payed attention more to her kids than assisting anyone in the class. Our group was of 9 people and all of us felt rushed, not instructed correctly and our kids were lost as we were . Would never attend to any of your events. As a business owner myself I m huge on first time experience being great with my customers so they can come back and tell their friends. I will for sure always mention to our friends and own client that this event is not worth the small fee you charge .

This was my first time at a paint snd sip event and it was so much fun! I do not consider myself an artist, but I am very pleased with the end result! I am so proud of myself. Shanna was great. She was so patient in showing us the techniques and even repeated the instructions if needed. If you are thinking about trying this, give Painting With a Twist a try.

I ve been to painting classes here before with great experiences. However, I bought my mother and I a class for Christmas expecting the classic experience I ve received before. To my surprise, the class included 5 different designs of paintings. The instructor, Shanna, only taught the class one of the designs. I would not have purchased this class had I known I would not be taught the painting I purchased. Instead, I was met with printed out instructions that I could have completed at home. When my mother asked to change her paint colors to the ones that were being instructed, she was told why? you ll be fine . All in all I received no instruction and was very disappointed in my experience. Why would you offer a class for designs that are not being instructed? I will very likely not return.

Shanna was not prepared for class. No wifi when we arrived, Playlist and music were lacking in ambiance. She did her own thing throughout, eating her Marie Callenders frozen meal. The class wrapped 30 minutes early leaving us to sit awkwardly quiet trying to complete our experience. Lesson learned, make the drive to Pinots Pallete for the foreseeable future.

I was very disappointed with our Christmas Party this year. We had such a great experience with last year we rebooked. Last years host was interactive, fun and we could not have had a better time. This year our host just fell flat, no interaction, rushed through the painting, we booked a 3 hour party and finished our painting in about 45 minutes and it was just a poor experience. Our party had 11 and we were piled on top of each other in one table and we could have easily used a little more elbow room and utilized the second table. We had a whole hour and our pictures were ok because the instruction was rushed and it was just not a fun experiene. Will look for a new place for next years party.

Had a fun time with family at Painting with a twist. Temerica was a blast as she showed us how to paint our masterpieces. She was unflappable when a couple arrived an hour late. She assisted them while keeping us on track. The late couple completed their paintings with us . As it turned out, they were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Temerica turned what could have been an embarrassing event for them to a fun evening for all.

I had gone previously with my wife this year in October for our anniversary and painted pumpkins and had instructor professor moonshine and he was great a 10/10! We had wonderful experience and wanted to book a second time because of the great initial experience we had. We decided to book a second time and even got my in-laws to join us. We had Tamarica (only found out her name after calling to ask who the instructor was). Such a night and day experience, she never introduced herself, she started 15 minutes late and the class was done 30 min early. She spoke only facing the wall and her canvas, never repeated herself, never told us when to clean our brush or when to switch colors. After asking her to elaborate or to explain how to paint the trees she made the comment to the class but directed towards us, We have some perfectionists in class today. My in-laws first time completing painting with a twist and they do not want to do it again. If this was my first exposure to painting with a twist I would never want to do it again either. We were all tempted to walk out half way through the painting due to the lack of guidance and pace she moved through the painting. A couple sitting behind us celebrating a birthday were just as frustrated and she stopped painting due to frustration and her boyfriend tried painting both so they would be complete. This experience felt like a waste of time and I paid to experience nothing but frustration.

Definitely worth going. My wife and I went to the Simply Meant To Be held in the Sugarland hwy 6 location. We had a great time! 2 hours flew by. The instructor really made the experience fun. There were couples of varying ages. For sure would recommend this to anylooking for something different but enjoyable for two.

Took my sweet mama to paint on Mother s Day and it was such a fun and special evening. Professor Moonshine did an AMAZING job celebrating the moms with a cute catwalk, customized music to everyone s fave artists, played fun games during paint session, and most significantly, set the tone for positive, encouraging vibes. AC was not working. Couldn t follow along with Instructor because she was talking too low and moving too fast when asked for help with the stencil, we was directed to do it our selves. I ve been to several painting with a twist, and this was the worst experience at the sugar land location. If it wasn t for the fun people with the party, we probably all would ve left.

This was my Christmas gift to my granddaughters (teenagers), and we had a blast. Carol was our instructor, and it was just us 5, so she made it so me and the girls had a ton of fun. I had my daughters birthday celebration at PWAT Sugar Land. Since we couldnt gathered 10 people requiered to reserve the Party Room, I just paid for the amount of girls attending. This was a great and fun experience for all 6 of us. We loved our paintings and had a great time. We had a small break where we could sing a quick happy birthday and enjoy cupcakes without missing on our time to work on our paintings.

I love what Painting With A Twist offers but my experience with Kim wasn t great. I went Saturday 10/26 at 9pm and the class started late because she was waiting on others to arrive. Once it started she did fine sharing the steps but i didn t like the consistent announcement she was making to remind those that had balances to pay. How were they even allowed to participate if they had a balance? Another issue is I asked for help after she finished helping someone else and she said she would come help BUT she made an announcement immediately after stating it s almost 30 people in the class and she can t help everyone! I get that but it s bothersome when the announcement came after my ask for help. Though I do get it s only one of her but get more than her brother as a helper. Lastly even with her starting us late she started rushing us at the end because she had family at home ! That s not fair to paying customers....We want our full 2 hours we paid for. So in all this experience was poor and I don t plan to return.

First, I d like to say Thank you to our instructor Jordan he was Amazing. That s the only reason I m posting a 5 star. We had so much FUN and the ladies are still taking about it! For the facility I would give a 3 stars .The concern I would like to address is that I wasn t told that their would be other public events going on the day of my event as well. People we re coming in going to another paint session in back, passing through we re our food and drinks were placed. The instructor for the public event should have been present to greet the outside clients instead of them coming up to me and my guests, inquiring about their event very unprofessional. Also, my guest had to interrupt the other class to get to the rest room. We loved Jordan, over all.

We absolutely LOVED our birthday party experience at Painting with a Twist at the Sugar Land location. Our artist and host Jordan was simply amazing and I highly recommend him for kids (or adults) birthday parties. He went above and beyond making my 9 year old feel special, and made sure all the guests had fun. The girls not only painted the chosen piece, but they played paint games while waiting for the first layer to dry, had a little bit of a dance party, and he was just so good about explaining everything and making the whole experience fun. There was so much laughter it made my heart so happy. All the moms told me how great of a time their girls had at the party, and I cant thank Jordan and Painting with a Twist enough for making it such a special time for my daughter and all her friends!

Went to the last event of the day which was a late night painting (10p-12a). Instructor was still very energetic, engaging and positive; giving amazing tips on how to get the look youre attempting and making the entire event super fun. Will definitely go again someday.

There is a difference between having a nice night out and enjoying an atmosphere with other individuals but the evening we went to was extreme. The group we were with was loud and not just loud, scream laughing which made the whole experience miserable and get claustrophobic and suffocated. Painting should be a good time, drinks and relaxed atmosphere, not people screaming the whole 2 hours. Definitely gotta figure out if there is a large group going at the same time. My wife and I had a tough time communicating with how loud the group was.

The best birthday ever!!! I enjoyed my painting experience to the fullest, my instructor was very attentive and involved and he did everything to make sure my sister and I had a blast! This was me and my family s first Painting with a Twist experience! Professor Moonshine was awesome! We had the best time celebrating my sister s birthday! We will most definitely come back! The only suggestion I have is you should setup your website to invite guests by telephone number instead of email address. Most people only have cellphone numbers for guests. I actually had to use another app to create an e-vite. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.

I plan a surprised private party for my boyfriend and Juan ( our instructor) was AMAZING... He played the music that fits us as a group. He help us pull off the surprised... He was very helpful and took his explaining how we should paint.. he even walk around the room to give extra to those that needed it... he was very funny and had my group full of smiles. He even took a group picture of us... Ask for Juan and you will enjoy a beautiful experience here at Painting with a twist.

This was my second time going to a Painting with a twist and it was just as much fun the second time! I gave this as a gift to a good friend of mine for her birthday. The price is so reasonable for how much fun youll have. I promise your painting will turn out better than you could ever think, I have ZERO art skills and was shocked by how awesome both my painting turned out. And I love them even more bc I made them. 5 out of 5 would highly recommend.

We had my daughters 12th birthday party. The kids had an absolutely wonderful time. You are allowed to decorate 30 min prior to event. I do wish there was more tables for food area and cake, but hey it s an art studio for painting so we adapted. The instructor was patient with my tween group of kids and it was a lovely party. Only con is the space shares parking with a nail Salon that is always busy so they take front parking - wish they had designated spot for their business.

My aunt and I came here because we wanted to try something different while she was in town visiting. We both had a great time. Shanna (our instructor) made class fun and gave easy to follow directions. Loved the upbeat music playing. Neither myself or my aunt have any artistic talent and it was so cool to actually walk out with a painting we had made. Definitely recommend and would come back!

First time painter and I need to come back again. Our instructor (moonshine) was cool and matched the energy we gave off (it was calm-ish) but tried to break the ice too. I appreciated that. I didn t know I would be able to create such a personalized piece of art so perfect in my eyes. Bob Ross always said any one can paint , and he was right. The work of art under mine is of another pair of girls who I thought really put in their own spin and I loved theirs too.

We have had several parties there for our little one with friends and each time the experience and service was 100% over the top. The staff is amazing and very patient. I have also had GNO s there and they make it so much fun with music trivia. Best location, best staff and that s why we will continue to go there.
