I m a big CAVA fan but today s bowl was awful. I ordered an Ubereats delivery this evening with my usual order of a bowl and I would have to say I m super disappointed. Not sure what was going on but everything in the bowl was either super dry, salty and overcooked. Will be not ordering from here anytime soon.

Updated review: 09/2024 - much improved with cleanliness, freshness, and friendliness. Now one of my go to places in the city for a quick and healthy bite! . . I like other CAVA locations but this one needs a lot of improvement. Lentils were undercooked. Employees looked unhappy and were rude. One of them kept wiping his nose with his wrist (he had a glove on but still gross as he s serving food). The seating areas were not cleaned and there was food remnants all over the floor. I hope they improve their service and cleanliness.

I went into this location today August 22 at 1:15PM. I ordered, and I when it was time for me to pay the cashier walked to the garage on the floor changed the bag and came back to handle my food and provide me a cup without washing her hands. I decided to pass on the cup in a rush. I went to get a folk which there was none, the drink area was a mess as if no one attended to it. Overall I gave my food to my co worker. Cava needs to do better with training.

Sugar Land location: Staff is arrogant and not friendly at all. They seem to forget that without customers, they wouldn t have a job. Food is good but ridiculously expensive. They give you so little of everything and are ready to charge you for any extra that you ask for. Not so funny thing is today, a lady in front of me asked for extra rice and I asked her myself and they didn t charge her extra but they charged me extra for more rice. Common now!!! This will be the last time I give this establishment my hard-earned money. I d rather eat at their competition Chipotle.

My daughter got me hooked onto cava. I ve been to a lot of cavas and this is the only one that is extremely stingy when it comes to portion sizes ESPECIALLY with the protein. Every single server scoops up the meat and then shakes them off. I m pretty sure they re trained to do that because every employee scoops it the same way. The food is already pricy and they increased their prices by $1. But still give the same small portion sizes for protein. The cava in aliana and Missouri city give 1.5 scoops of protein so the bowl is heaping by the time you cover it. The one is sugar land does not and I feel you still leave hungry. No wonder the lines are out the door for the other 2 locations because people are willing to drive for the ample food and good service. I would avoid this one if you re hungry.

Oh my goodness this place might have the best pita I ve ever tasted. Slightly crunchy at the edges, soft and chewy in the middle. So much flavor. Had the harissa avocado bowl with chicken and added a couple of falafel. So good! Definitely recommend this place. Check it out. Vegetarian options: You can get any bowl without meat. Plenty to choose from . Parking: The parking in front along street is paid but the parking around the back is free.

I come to this location weekly, sometimes with all 3 of my kids, but mostly just me and my youngest. The staff is so friendly and has made a point to know my name and make conversation. They will help me grab a high chair or bring my food and drink to the table, even if it s busy. I swear, every place you go always messes up orders, but it never happens here. I order to go and in person and the quality is always top notch. As a person with multiple dietary restrictions it is so nice to be able to dine out and not have to worry. Update: CAVA Customer Service follow up was prompt and efficient, rating changed to reflect this. Requested NOT spicy protein options and the staff recommended the lamb or chicken. The lamb was mildly spicy, it gave me heartburn, and it had so much excess liquid that it the rest of the ingredients in the bowl soggy and unappetizing! Worst of all, the lamb was an extra charge. Disappointing food experience aside, all the staff were nice, and it appeared cleanly inside.

Just got out of a hard doctors appointment. I needed to get some food and went to the CAVA on Lonestar!! I was chatting to the worker (i forgot how her name!!! im so sorry!!!) and ah she was the CUTEST and SWEETEST human being!!! She ended up paying for my food and gosh WHAT A BLESSING!! Seriously needed that with the day I was having!! Made my WHOLE DAY SO MUCH BETTER!!! And ahh the food is sooooo good!!!!!! Especially the mint juices (literally my fav things ever!!) Vegetarian options: lots of plant based protein!! Dietary restrictions: I got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia earlier this year because of that I ve had to go gluten free. On top of that most meat makes me sick. I can always find good plant based protein options and the portions are perfect!! So much GOOD food!!!!

Delicious!! Ordering process was easy and smooth. My favorite is the spicy chicken and avocado pita. You can add extra veggies if you want to without extra charge. The pita gets you about 7/10 full so it s enough food. It s somewhat pricey but all ingredients were fresh and you get a whole half avocado stuffed in the pita. The CAVA team member did give me a lamb meatball to sample. I ll be back to this location for sure!
