95% rice and 5% toppings!! I paid $15.99 plus tax for just rice. She took a scoop of chicken, shaked it a little, and then pour it in the bowl. When I asked her why do you guys always do this? She said our boss is stingy and has asked us to do this. One star is for the poor workers. Overall not the best service or food. I would ask others to record their service while they serve you!!

This is basically a chipotle for Gyros! Love it. It took me a bit to figure out the menu but the employee Yesenia was awesome and patient. The hummus is great and so are the gyros! Good price for the amount of great fresh food. YESenia is the gyro queen.

i dont get the hype. $13 on uber for a regular bowl. its mainly rice, like 1.5 cups at least, with less than half a cup of toppings and a tiny bit of chicken. gave me like a tiny bit of corn, onion and tomatoes no special flavor, nothing special. i put my own sauce on it that i make at home

My family and I got an order to go. Food was delicous, service was quick with a lot of helpful recommendations, and the owner, Salim, was especially excellent. We felt very comfortable, and he was very friendly. I would highly recommend taking a trip. The baklava is a recipe from Dubai and was mouthwateringly good.

Dominique made me the best Donner Kebab Ive had since Ive been in Scotland. All the ingredients were fresh and she even recommended the special white sauce. Luckily it was the last day on their hummus promotion. Thoroughly enjoyed and Ill be visiting the Richmond location soon. Oh and the red sauce was so spicy (which I love). Top notch service . This place is getting worse and worse, the restaurant tables, seats, floors are extremely dirty. The cashier counter had rice all around it even below the register. Asked for a regular bowl and they barely filled half with rice, so I asked for more rice and was given one more spoon of rice and told I can t get more rice. Rice and meat were barely warm. I had to go home and heat up my food. Would definitely recommend going to the Aliana location or the one off of 59 and Fondren. Much better service and quality at those locations.

Been here a few times over the years. Never have been satisfied with the service. Always felt like the workers were being forced to work. The very last time I am going to this location and the bowls were barely being filled with rice/and meat. The small and regular sized bowls had the exact same amount of food. Watched the person fill the bowls. I chuckled to myself thinking let me give them one more shot but I prefer to get my gyro fix from elsewhere. 3 stars just to be a respectful patron.

Ordered the large trays deluxe order from gyro republic sugarland. Their manager William is incredibly nice, he made sure Im taken care of. The food was made fresh right before my pickup time and everything was on point. He gave me more than enough sauces that I didnt run out the quantity of meat was very generous too. I dont normally leave reviews but I had to for their service. Im a loyal customer already but now Ill definitely be ordering for parties more often too. Editing my original review to just add more, since then I have ordered a few more times for catering, William always goes above and beyond to assist and the food quality is always top notch. Believe me im a regular paid customer, also a part of a non profit which caters from gyro republic for Iftar atleast once a year, last time we ordered for 300-400 people. That was the biggest order we have placed and William delivered it himself and did a wonderful job. If I could Id give them 100/10 rating. Thank you! Best business in town.

This time, I just stuck to the gyro and a drink . When i went to sit down and thats when I realized how dirty every place to sit was . I had to flick chunks of food away. It just gave me the icks and the yucks. If they cant keep a clean lobby , then I question the cleanliness of the kitchen. They ask for a tip ... I gave them a tip . After I sat down I actually got so grossed out I took my food home and gave it to my cat . This place doesnt need to ask for tips . I wanted so badly to have a 5-star gyro experience (close to home), but when i did not see the traditional vertical broiler (which browns and caramelizes the outer skin and enhances the deep flavor of the gyro meat), I knew there was trouble looming in tasteville. The gyro meat was cubed, thusly eliminating the possibility of a thin browned slice of gyro meat. It was just bland. and smacked of mid level quality at best. OWNER: please select a better quality meat product to start, and then brown each slice (as is traditional) to unleash the deep flavor. what you have here will likely not last. When you do this, just respond back and i will return. I am admittedly perplexed at the high ratings as there is no such thing as a 5 star GREEK restaurant with chunked diced meat cubes..

When the food is good, its good, unfortunately, there have been a lot of misses. I used to order 3-5 times a week but it got to the point that every time I ordered, either the order was wrong or something was missing or the food was sub-par. We used yo enjoy taking our kids here. But lately the service / quantity has just gone downhill. Today ordered a loaded fries for my kids. Literally had 10 french fries! Steep for 7.99. Probably will stop going there till they improve. The 99/59 location counter person at night is terrible with order quantities

Sorry but this is not real Greek Food. Is more like Greek-American food . Where the food looks like a Gyro. But the meat is nasty. I am including 2 pictures. The one in foil paper is the gyro from Gyro Republic. . The one with paper is Gyro from Athens

Normally I order Uber eat but this time I decided to dine in. Sitting area was nice and clean. I like gyro over rice but I don t like Philly gyros( gyro in bun). Bun ( bread) was supper dry. I thought it will be juicy but they just use same gyro cubes in bun. I don t recommend to get buy Philly gyros deal. I highly recommend to get combo over rice. One more things in found food little cold. Or maybe I like hot food. Next time I just order Uber eat and warm it at home.

I visited this location for the first time on Friday, 1/27/23. I ordered two chicken gyros for take out. When eating I noticed that the chicken was dry and the other ingredients werent fresh. Later I began to feel sick and soon I was struggling with a serious case of food poisoning that lasted for days. I cant recommend this place and I wont be returning.

First time here, the flavor and texture was good on rice and meats. The fries were also very good. The down side and it think should be the star of the menu as the name suggest was the gyro. The problem I pinpoint was in the lettuce, it was not drained enough so it added a lot of water to my gyro, washing down and diluting the sauces, and making the naan soggy. An easy fix I believe.
