I have been looking for a place to get good dogs and finally got to stop in and eat here for lunch. I had the Cowboy Dog and a smoked sausage New Yorker style. The food was amazing, prices were reasonable, and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. I will definitely come back to try some more styles.

So, I have been meaning to try this place for a while, as I love hot dogs and its just down the street from me. If it had not been for the lovely women behind the counter that was helping me, it would have been a complete bust. She asked if it was my first time, walked me through the combo process, the flavor selections, and the side choices. She gave me a recommendation of the Frito Pie flavor, which I was down for. I ordered the 3 Weiner combo with the Frito Pie, Astro, and Cowboy flavors. The chili was really over-reduced and thick, like a thick tomato paste. It came on two of my flavor choices, Frito Pie and Astro. The Cowboy came with brisket, which was almost pureed in consistency and not very flavorful. The coleslaw was very runny, and on the edge of turning, it seems, as it had that fermenting flavor on the back end. The garlic pickles, which came on Cowboy and Astro, were 100% past their prime. It added a very stale flavor to both of those dogs that still lingers as I write this review. The Frito Pie flavor was the best of the bunch and tasted just how I like my chili cheese-style dogs, with an added Frito crunch. For a side, I got the potato salad, which was on the sweeter side and tasted a bit like marshmallows? I couldnt finish it, but it was not bad, just not my style. I was looking for a more mustard style potato salad. I live 2 minutes from the place, so the drive from there to my house would not have affected food quality. Overall, this place seems like it has a lot of potential, but needs a ton of small fixes and attention to food quality and safety. The atmosphere is like it was thrown together as cheaply as possible, with not much thought into aesthetics. There is also a drive -thru window on the side I tried first, but nobody was there. Shame to see a place that has so much potential squander it. It wouldnt take much to see this place become what I hope it was conceptualized to originally be.

Ive been wanting to try this place out and finally got to. Unfortunately, it was a very bizarre experience. Upon entry, there was a strong stench. We couldnt put our finger on it but we went with it! The menu looked great and we were still excited to try the dogs. The employee serving us was sitting down on his phone in front of us until we prompted him to take our order. He didnt speak except to mumble how much we owed him at the end. There were two girls in the background. One had her back to us prepping stuff, but the other stood there expressionless staring into space or on her phone the entire time we were there. Which in general wouldnt matter at all to me... But... 1. Our buns were cold. Not room temperature- cold. Im not sure if thats how theyre usually served here? But I usually warm mine up at least a little so I wasnt a fan. They came from a clear stand and one of the buns was pushed up against the glass and the corner that was touching the glass looked soggy. I was glad I didnt get that one! But was shocked when I picked up my hotdog and it was cold. 2. Our wienies were shriveled up and rubbery. You could tell theyd been sitting on the rotator for a while. I noticed some looked fresher than others, but the ones we were served were definitely there too long. 3. They were out of all the drinks I like-all the teas and stuff. So I went to pick a soda and.. 4. They were completely out of ice. There was a family eating and I noticed they had no ice in their cups. We asked if they could refill the ice, and the guy walked away and came back with a small styrofoam dish with 5 ice cubes for us to share. We asked for more and received a death stare as he silently retreated for more ice. Why didnt they keep ice in the machine for customers or at least just refill it when asked? Not sure. I dont mind sub-par customer service when the food is still yummy. But man... That was a rough and uncomfortable dining experience. Ive seen reviews where people had great experiences with the employees! So maybe it was an off day, or maybe it was a different group of employees today. But today was the day I happened to go, and consistency is so important, especially with the food. Hot dogs are pretty hard to mess up... Overall, Im bummed I finally got to try it and didnt like it. One-star experience, but adding a star because the place in general is a great idea, the menu was good and, again, maybe it was an off day. Definitely has potential with the right employees!

The dogs are good. The young ladies were great and their sert was amazing. The reason we gave 4 stars is the setup is not employee friendly in our opinion. It doesnt flow well. But the food and service was A+ This is a place you can bring the kids and get a blue bell ice cream afterwards. Its kind of just a plain jane building, but I dont need glitz for a hot dog.

Walked in and both workers were on their phones. Food prep area was disgusting and needs to be cleaned. Fry baskets were coated with left over food residue. Ice cream fridge case was dirty and leftover dried ice cream that hasnt been cleaned off. Took 1 bite of corndog which was a frozen state fair brand and 1 bite of tater tot absolutely gross. If you like hot dogs youll love this place. Good selection of different toppings from their wacky Mackie with Mac and cheese, bacon and barbeque sauce to their Frito pie dog with chilli, cheese, onions and crumbled up Fritos they have something youll like. I love hotdogs so trying this place was a must for me. Their prices are fair and their combos come in a choice of 1,2, or 3 hotdogs or sausage for just a little more.

Stopped in to try something new. This place is pretty great. Their hotdog concoctions are really good, and if, somehow, you dont see something you like, build your own. The price point is pretty good, too. Highly recommend stopping in to try them out. Atmosphere gets 4 stars just because theres really nothing going on inside. Kinda just plain and simple dining room. But its no deal breaker at all. Cant wait to go back and try something new.

First time customer and the experience was interesting. After placing my order another patron throws his food away and says it was a waste of $$ and it was cold. My wife, 3 son s and I went here for lunch on 12/03/23 after church at approximately 1:30pm. We went in and there were only 2 patrons in the restaurant. I noticed there were only about 6-8 hot dogs on the cooker as we ordered. I even made the comment that I hope you have some more hotdogs. For a Hot Dog Place it s not good if you don t have hotdogs . The teenager working placed a dozen so more on the cooker as we were ordering. The hotdogs already on the cooker either looked raw or burned As the employee started making my son s last order he used a new raw hot dog he just placed on the cooker. I told him that those are not cooked and I did not want. I told him we would just pay for what we have. At this time several more people walk in and order. I watched the employee serve the raw hotdogs. As I bit into my hotdog it was cold. The tater tots we ice cold and hard as rocks. The drink machine had no ice. At this point we just packed up and went home. I cooked the hotdogs when I got home so not to completely waste $50! The 3 teenage employees need to have some type of training or manager supervision before they get someone sick or they just completely run this restaurant in the ground. The sad thing was when we cooked the hotdogs at home they were great with all the variety of toppings and soft bun.

Love the original themed menu hot dog creations made up by the staff and creators. I had a Wacky Macky which had BBQ sauce, bacon, and Mac & cheese. Menu items are same priced by grouping, and no surprises EVERYBODY must try this place. I like them better than James Coney Island, and that says a lot coming from me. Could not have had a better first time experience here. First off, Jonathan behind the counter was super helpful, patient with me trying to figure out the menu, and was very helpful explaining it to me. There are plenty of custom dog options (they should add a Japanese style teriyaki one tho ) I personally really like the brisket one. And finally you cannot beat the price for the combos. I m a smaller guy, 2 hot dog combo is plenty, for under $10. What s not to like?

Ordered through Door Dash for me to pickup, I get there and there s 1 bag with a to-go box in it that the guy working the front counter says is for me. I had ordered 3 hotdogs, but there was only one to-go box in the bag, which I thought was weird since I got two different orders, but figured since it s a hot dog, it probably could fit all 3. Get home and discover that only one of the orders is there, and the more expensive hot dog order is not in the box. I also find out that the order that was there was missing several toppings. I should add that when I picked up my order, there was no one else there, and I was the only pick up order, the guy was so bored that he was dancing behind the counter before I walked in, so it s not even like they can say they messed up my order because they were swamped. Finally though, to top it off, the plastic to-go cups they use are the thinnest of plastics, and as I m taking it out of my vehicle, I accidentally bumped it, and the sides of the cup tore open, sending Coke everywhere in my vehicle and on me. Only giving 2 stars because admittedly, even without some of the toppings, the food that was there was good. But the service and quality control of this place is subpar.

The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. That is the only reason I am not given 1 star. The all beef hot dogs were good and the buns were mediocre. Their Mac and cheese tasted good but it was not very warm. The chili is horrible, it tastes like ketchup. If you are getting a specialty dog it probably wont be bad. Dont order an ordinary dog because you will be disappointed. I will probably just go to 7Eleven to get a hotdog when I want one next time. Kid-friendliness: They have hot dog outfits you can wear and take pictures.

Honestly, I liked the place... not only were the staff very welcoming and friendly, but I felt comfortable in the place... it felt homemade, in my opinion... and the food was delicious... my only pet peeve was the fact that I would have preferred more pickles and ranch in my Astro Weiner, but in their defense, they had unlimited FREE toppings, which I didnt realize until by the time I finished my hot dog. We kept seeing this place advertised on the various delivery apps and saw it was nearby so we went in to give it a try. The menu has a lot of options, interesting hot dog toppings abound! From walking in to walking out, the service is top notch! Everyone is friendly, they talked us through the options on the menu, made suggestions, etc... You can get a Nathans frank, smoked sausage, or jalapeno sausage. The buns are all steamed - my wife liked how soft the buns were but I prefer a toasted bun. The hot dogs were a good brand, but theyre all cooked on one of those gas stations rollers. The guy taking orders and putting the dogs together was checking the internal temperature to make sure they were ready, which is good, but theres just something about a warm enough hot dog that doesnt excite me. Normally, a dog from one of those kind of rollers would have been cooking there for hours at a gas station and piping hot/crisp, these were going on cold and coming off ASAP. Which was due to the demand at the time, just, they werent really done enough for me. The various toppings were good, especially the RajinCajun with all the different peppers. The Mac and cheese dog was too messy for me though, most of the cheese kind of slid out of the bun because it was runny, and the bun was already kind of soggy from being steamed - so over all not the experience I was expecting. The tots were good and crispy, I added chili and cheese on top but again it was just warm but not really hot.

It s an interesting place with some nice decor to look at. We stopped by Tuesday around 3:00 and were the only ones eating there at the time. The food was bland, they offered tater tots as upgrade over potato chips and I was surprised they were ready under the heat lamp- they were luke warm. I got the Mac N cheese dog and added spicy mustard- the Mac n cheese tasted like plain pasta and the spicy mustard wasn t remotely spicy. The girl at the counter doodled on her phone most of the time we were there and as we were packing up to leave she asked is everything alright we walked out without a goodbye.

We referred here by another hotdog restaurant. I ve not really a restaurant hotdog guy. I will say, The Wacked Out Weiner did not disappoint. We both order #2 two weiner combo. Plenty of options for your hotdog. Soft bread, tasty all beef weiner or sausage. Prices were fair.

Stopped by because who doesnt like hot dogs. The staff was welcoming as soon as we opened the door and answered all the questions we had. The menu and how everything that can be put together was explained. The owner was actively present, which I enjoyed hearing his stories about tasting each hot dog they offer. The restaurant was very clean. Our food was very good.

We love coming to dine in or Togo. Everything is tasty and it s quick. My kids love the corn dogs and hot dogs. My favorite to date is the cowboy. My husband s current favorite is the aloha. I enjoy the tator tots. One day I need to try the nachos. Oooo and we love the blue bell. The staff is super nice and friendly. Go check them out!

I saw this place advertised in a local newspaper, looked at the menu online, noticed they had a Chicago Style and decided to try it. Ive had Chicago Style hot dogs shipped in from Portillos in Chicago so I know what they should taste like. They absolutely nailed it, down to adding the ingredients in the correct order. I look forward to returning and bringing my grandchildren with me.

Its overpriced, not very organized at all. Staff kept looking back at the menu on the wall on what went on hotdogs and still missed items. We ordered a corn dog an was told it would be 8min to get get them 4 more min after the 8 min and was asked if we would take a plan hotdog instead. But our daughter does not like plan hotdogs so we waited another 8min an received one free hotdog on our next visit. Which will not happen.

I m glad this was a place supporting Spirit Night, otherwise I wouldn t have tried it. The staff were helpful to a first timer and thoroughly explained the menu. The combinations were interesting and fun. For the less adventurous, there are basic hotdog options too. Overall very tasty and great prices. Next time we will venture into the non-hotdog items.

Two of us got there and they were sold out of chili and most toppings, only had a few buns and dogs left, the male employee apologized but then gave us what was left which turned out to be the dog that has white cheddar mac n cheese, bacon and bbq sauce with that nice steamed bun. For free! He was awesome! Give this guy a raise immediately! Great service! We ended up purchasing the sauce and seasoning which the two of them are delicious and was just under $10 for them both. Lots of people were inside. All seemed to be enjoying their food. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Stopped by to try them out tonight and they had closed over an hour early. Update: The Owners were quick to reply that they are not officially open until this weekend. Hopefully others are aware or see this and dont make the trip as we did. based off the hours posted on Google. While our calendar is full for this coming weekend, we will plan to visit another time in the future and try again. I upped their star count for replying quickly...I know that a bad review is hard on business. I am not trying to hurt a new business, just trying to make sure there is some feedback for those who Google the business and want to try them out. Its unfortunate there isnt a way to post a Grand Opening Date on the Google listing.
