Came in for some breakfast and they had it! They have a build your own breakfast plate you can pick 3 options or pick 4 options. I got over easy eggs with refried black beans and seasoned potatoes so damn good but to me the black beans shined the most they had some much flavor, the establishment itself was nice real clean. They have a bar set up, outside patio sitting and clean restrooms, and the customer service was very, very good the chips and salsa was pretty decent as well. If you are in the area give them a try!

This is a small restaurant with flavorful Tex Mex food. No blandness in any of the foods on this Tejas combo plate. The rice is spot on Mexican and done RIGHT. Kudos The crispy taco that comes with it was plated separately. Looking forward to trying this place again and seeing how the fajitas are. I will return with an update eventually.

My family and I decided to give this place a try.. And we absolutely do not regret it. The food was amazing as well as the service. The waiters recommended a few things such as the chunky guacamole and the birria plate. My mom and boyfriend devoured the guacamole and talked highly about the birria tacos. I payed around $120 or maybe less for roughly four plates and two big appetizers. In my opinion, it isn t bad. I wish there was a Tavos in Magnolia but definitely going to try this place again when I am in town!

Can t believe I have not left a review yet for my favorite Mexican restaurant!! If y all are craving any type of Mexican food, this place is the spot to be at. Amazing margaritas and palomas, the fajitas are my favorite thing to order since the meat is always so tender and juicy, today I ordered the picante shrimp for the first time and I just have to say wow . Shrimp did not taste fishy or like old frozen food, it was really yummy and a big portion. I ve hosted birthday parties(group of 20) here too, they do an excellent job at making sure everyone is taken cared of without issues.

Food is horrendous. Just go to Taco Bell. The photo you see is not a finished plate of food. This was supposed to be nachos but as you can see the nachos were pulled off of this plate and this is all of the toppings that were not eaten. I went maybe an hour before closing. If you know you can t serve fresh food, don t serve it at all!

Meh! You probably had to pass several underrated Mexican food restaurants to get to this one. We went there last night. The first thing I saw was a sign boasting their cheese enchilada was voted best enchilada in 2023. You know I had to try that. The wait staff was friendly although it took a while to get our drink order. We found the red and green sauce and chips to be good. The home made corn tortillas were excellent. We ordered two shrimp enchiladas and of course one cheese enchilada. We also ordered the bean soup and the stuffed jalapeños. The shrimp enchiladas were very good. The poblano sauce topping was tasteful. I did not find the cheese enchilada to be worth the hype. It was bland. The yellow queso was pretty good. It seemed to be real cheese. The bean soup was probably the best feature out of the whole evening but only if you like bacon because it definitely had quite a bit of that. The stuffed jalapeños, however, were something else. They were two to a plate and very oversized. I went through a lot of cheese and breading for the first couple of bites before I actually found the shrimp it was supposed to be stuffed with. It only had one shrimp in it which was unpeeled! Also, the cheese/breading wad only had a sliver cut from a jalapeño. Not worth the price. I sent them back. When we got the check, they did not take the stuffed jalapeños off. I guess the waiter conveniently forgot. Also, tea drinker beware! They charged 3.50 for a glass of unsweetened mango tea. They charge $1.00 for the mango shot in the tea and $1.00 per fill up. My tea for the evening cost $6.50. Once he adjusted the check we paid and walked out. Wont be going back. Mexican restaurants are on every corner so the competition is tough. Ya can t fool this Gringo! I think they are overpriced and over rated.

The Hernandez Family has done it again! Just got to visit their second opening of Tavos Mexican Grill on FM 2920 and everything was perfect! They have named their new venture after their brother, Gustavo, and he would be proud of his siblings. We started off with top shelf frozen Herradura Silver margaritas which were clearly made with lime juice and not sweet and sour mix. On the weekends they have fresh ceviche which is terrific on a tortilla chip with some Cholula sauce. We kept our meals simple...chicken flautas and beef tacos, but both were full of flavor. With years of Tex-Mex experience in The Woodlands area, this new concept is a welcome addition!

We stopped in on a recommendation. Started with great service as soon as we sat down and it never stopped. We ordered the Chunky Avacado!!! Wednesday is 2 for 1 fajitas. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The salsa and green salsa were great. Very satisfied with the food and service. Also, glad to see no charges for using a CC. When we were done the manager asked how everything was. We told her food was great but the service was outstanding. She replies this was the servers first table as he was newly hired. What a hidden gem. Almost scared to share how great this place is because we might have to fight a crowd when word gets out. Our dinner at Tavos last night was amazing! Enchiladas were on a half off special for Thursdays so of course we ordered some. You can choose the number of enchiladas you want along with meat and sauce types. I selected the shredded chicken with the tomatillo sauce which comes topped with sour cream drizzle and fresh avocado slices. Absolutely amazing! We also had the mouth watering, delicious, tender beef fajitas. The beef is just as good if not better than the top tier overpriced Mexican restaurants in our area! Flour tortillas were wonderful but the homemade corn tortillas were scrumptious! Thick enough to hold up to the task but not weirdly gummy like I ve had in the past. We had crisp chicken flautas and fully packed ground beef tacos as well as a stuffed avocado which was a perfectly crispy crusty avocado filled with fajita chicken breast meat and melted gooey yummy cheese ! We were very satiated to say the least, especially after munching on warm tortilla chips and the roasted warm red salsa and creamy green salsa provided before the meal. Of what we ordered, the queso was the only thing really lacking in my opinion. They have two options. We ordered the regular not the blanco. It was the typical bright orange dip with a little pico de gallo sprinkled on top. Definitely a notch up from the canned stuff but not on the same level as the entrees. Next time we plan to try the blanco queso or a different appetizer. Specials include Tuesday tacos, Wednesday fajitas, and Thursday enchiladas. Of course happy hour too until 6pm. Let s not forget the other highlight from last night the wonderful staff .eye contact, patient, attentive, accommodating, genuine, and SMILING. We ve really missed those traits in servers we ve had of recent so it was very refreshing to be welcomed in and taken care of! We will be regulars now. Please please save us a seat!!! So excited we followed the recommendations of other foodies and gave this place a go!!!

Weve been dining at Tavos quite a bit lately, not only for its convenient location, but also for its good food and terrific service. I have been really enjoying their Street Tacos, both chicken and beef, very much. The fajita meat is cooked perfectly with just the right seasonings. The sides are also prepared very well. We also like their chips and salsas, especially the green one. Our servers have been spot on at every visit. Their friendliness and promptness makes for an enjoyable experience. Tavos is also very clean and seems to be run very well. On one of our visits, the owner was there and he was very friendly. Open the door and be greeted with the smell of a porta-john that hasnt been emptied in a month. If you can stomach that, youll get served by a being that doesnt present itself as human. I refuse to patronize a business that employs something that chooses to show up to work with a hardware store worth of pins and bolts and screws in what is supposed to be a face/head. Its very poor judgement by the owners/management. What does that tell you about them as a business? Poor standards. Low quality. Ignorant of what THE MAJORITY of the public considers respectable and acceptable. Other than that... Amazing fajitas and the kiddos loved their hamburger/corndog. Fajitas were very tender and flavor was great. Manuel was very attentive and entire staff made us feel welcome. Will definitely be back!

We have had such a great experience at tavos. The food- YUM! The shrimp with the mantiquilla... drool worthy. If you go, ask for Michelle. She goes above and beyond and is super funny. We will be back! Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options. They are very conscious if you let them know

I was in the mood for Mexican but didnt want to go to my usual spot so I gave this spot a try since I seennit after leaving my barbershop. I was greeted as soon as i walked in and decided to sit at the bar. Well let just say Brenda took real good care of me and was very polite and had great energy.

Vegetarian options: Love theyre Veggie Fajitas. They were delicious and served hot and the veggies were fresh! Kid-friendliness: We took our 2 and 1/2 grand kids and they loved it, Mannie was very attentive to everyone and the girls that helped were so nice and sweet to our needs!

I recommend you come and try how delicious the food is and the amazing service. Every few minutes someone different asked me do you want something else, more water, more toast, more sauce, all of that happened while I was enjoying a delicious Enchiladas Poblanas and not just delicious They were tasty and delicious I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE!!! After waiting for weeks for this much-anticipated opening, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the bar for a multi- course dinner that started with excellent skinny-ish Ritas, fresh guacamole and queso con carne, and fresh chips. I highly recommend everyone try the Fish Cancun (check out the menu): pan-seared fresh red snapper filets stuffed with spinach, shrimps, mushrooms and a creamy sauce. It was truly incredible! The kitchen and wait staff is outstanding in preparation, cooking and serving. Although there were several tables being served late afternoon it seemed like we were the only ones.

this restaurant was amazing . amazing queso, tremendous service (so attentive & nice), and great margaritas!! Addy our server was so kind & when we couldn t find a specific drink we wanted, she went to the bar and started experimenting with the bartender for us to have the perfect margarita :)
