Now I don t normally write a review, but the first time I went here the food was fine. I went back a second time and I had shrimp and a piece of fish that was not cooked well. I had a 10 minute timer but for some reason my order was brought out to me before that timer went off. I assumed it was done, but it wasn t.

I wish I had pictures to share, but we ate it so fast that we didn t have time to take any! If you haven t experienced Kelz Kreative Kitchen you re missing out! The food is made to order, so everything is hot! The shrimp were big and the fish tasted so fresh! The egg rolls were a special kind of treat! The owner was there and she was very personable. She gave us banana pudding to try and it was so delicious, that we ate it before our food came! I love supporting black businesses and this was a great experience! We definitely will be back!

Me and my fiancé tried this place out today . I m from Dallas but I m Creole and my family is from Louisiana.. I ve grown up around Cajun and Creole food all my life and this . I m sorry this just didn t cut it We got the catfish and shrimp basket They give you two packet of tartar sauce for all the seafood just ask for more The shrimp was okay as well as the catfish it was okay.. Hush puppy was good Fries were soggy and not well seasoned at all We also got loaded seafood nachos Wasn t loaded at all had a bunch of jalapeños which was nice but only found about 4-5 shrimp in it a small amount of sour cream and the chips were soggy mind you this is fresh We also got the Mac and cheese didn t look anything like the advertisement looked and stated like they threw shredded cheese on top of store bought mac and cheese Because they told us 15mins took maybe 30mins for them to make it. Number one read flag which I don t mind other types of people working there but if you re gonna have tiktokers post this is the best Creole kitchen with a chef who s from Louisiana or owner at least have a person from Louisiana there present Didn t see anyone who knew anything about Louisiana there The guy who greeted us was nice but he didn t speak English.. Cost us 43$ just for us to be disappointed

This is a food truck, The food was delicious, crunchy and hot! I had the catfish and shrimp basket! Didn t have to wait too long. I returned for another taste the next day! I checked this place out based on the influencer recommendation on TikTok The influencer said the owner was from Louisiana. I don t know what part of Louisiana they are from but I m from Deep South Louisiana and this was absolutely disappointing! LACK OF SEASONING! Batter had no flavor, Mac and cheese had an odd floral taste undertone, salt needed desperately. You can tell that the Mac and cheese had been sitting in the container awhile, then to add insult to injury they serve you packet tartar sauce with your $15 meal. The hush puppies were decent. I won t be back.

The portion sizes are great, however the food lacks flavor. The fried items taste just like fried batter and greese with no seasoning. The mac and cheese lacks flavor as well. Mac and cheese is just pasta noodles with a thick layer of hard cheese on top. The catfish is overcooked and too hard. I did try this place a few times as I thought it may have been just a bad day, but the food is very inconsistent.

This tasted like a home cooked meal made in someone s Momma or Auntie s kitchen. You can tell it was made with love and with the person it is being served to in mind. There was silence in the room and the only thing you could hear is the sound of the crunch of the wings with every bite. My wife and I are looking forward to trying everything else on the menu.

I recently moved to the area, and decided to try Kelz Kitchen for the first time. Craving fried fish, I searched for nearby options and found that Kelz Kitchen had stellar reviews on Google. After checking TikTok for additional reviews that mirrored the positive comments, I opted for the mac & cheese and fried fish with shrimp, accompanied by fries and hush puppies. While I wasn t impressed by the bland fries and mac & cheese, the hush puppies were exceptional and hit the spot perfectly. So good that I ended up returning for more on the same day. The fried shrimp and fish were cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. My second time visiting I noticed some new items on the menu, like Boudin Links and Philly Cheese Steak Eggrolls, but they were both sold out when I tried to order them. I ended up trying the Zydeco Eggrolls and banana pudding instead. The Zydeco Eggrolls were delicious, especially with the accompanying sauce. Now, lets discuss this amazing banana pudding! Baby Kelz really outdid herself with it. This banana pudding is incredibly delicious! I definitely plan on getting more in the future.

Delicious Food. I live less than 10 min from this location and decided to give it a try. Got the catfish and shrimp meal and the seafood nachos. Shrimp and catfish was delicious, well battered and fried and definitely fresh. The nachos were delicious with plenty of crawfish in them. Will definitely be visiting again.

I was throughly satisfied with my experience here. At first I thought the prices were a little higher than expected, but once I tasted the food it was worth every penny. They have spectacular customer service I would give 10 if possible. I ordered the fish and shrimp with a side of the mac n cheese. Everything came out fresh, and the fish and shrimp was seasoned perfectly!

I m in love with the fish and shrimp, The eggrolls and the wings are good. All good is seasoned well all I ask is that the fish be fried a little harder next time I will tell them to fry it hard. The jambalaya was good just a little salty for me .The owner was super nice. The staff is always nice. The music is nice outside is great

I work across the street from this place, the food is amazing. Crisp, but not greasy. Fluffy, but doesnt crumble when you bite into the fried catfish. Salad was on point. 10/10 would recommend.

This place was soooo good! Saw it on Tiktok and wanted to try it with a friend. It was worth it! We got the Zydeco egg rolls, Loaded Seafood French Fries & The Seafood Platter with Catfish, Jumbo Shrimp, Hushpuppies and Fries. Everything was 5 stars. To start the customer service was amazing... the gentleman was very patient and when the order was ready he brought the food out to us. We ate at the tables that they have in the tent area and everything was good! The Zydeco egg rolls were stuffed, the sauce was good, the fried seafood was SEASONED... everything was just good. We spent $53 and while normally this would be crazy, we had a lot of seafood and that was reasonable.

I came here last week and got the fish and shrimp basket for $22 and the peach cobbler for $6. After i got my food and asked for extra tartar sauce they told me none was in the bag because they had ran out, so i had to stop by the store otw home. That really bothered me because I would not have ordered seafood had i known that, i feel like they just wanted to make the sale. The french fries that came with the basket had no seasoning on them (i used Whataburgers spicy ketchup on them and they were still bad). Theyre the big mushy dry fries with no texture or ummph. The peach cobbler was very mediocre, it was mostly sauce and peaches with no crust, not worth the money. Fish & shrimp very basic, no heat, not crispy, im Creole and there was NOTHING Louisiana about this place. I wouldnt recommend, waste of time and money. The taco truck next door tho is DELICIOUS .

I come here atleast 2x a week. The service, the food and the atmosphere are 5 stars easy! They have the BEST catfish and shrimp. The only seafood Ive had fried as good as this was my grandmas! The seafood eggrolls are also a must try!

Wow my Voodoo egg rolls squirted on me. The fish was fresh well seasoned and fried to perfection although I would have loved it fried harder, cuz I like things hard but juicy. I also ordered the hot honey wings, the breading, the crust, the perfection on the frying of these winds was out of this world. The flavor of the hot honey was like no other it was sticky wet succulent and to die for. I did three orders for a total of $40 which is not bad I bought two plates from another black owned business I wont say any names and it came to 67 dollars. I will be back to kels kitchen to try the gumbo and some other menu items. Keep up the good work customer service was Divine

!!! Average prices for a food truck and the portion size was beyond my expectations+++.The foods aroma, presentation & that 1st taste KELZ DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Stop by this location after saying a review on IG, and I must say during the visit they were having their GRAND OPENING with family assisting. It was a great atmosphere and family warm experience. Have you been thinking about eating here? Think no more. Great customer service, great attention to detail, and most importantly your food is cooked when ordered and comes out fresh and HOT!!!!! Omggggg!!!! When I tell you this visit to Kelz was nothing short of amazing. Nothing I ate was bad! I m already planning my next visit. I wish I could have ordered one of everything. No seriously! Just go! They offer fried fish, fried shrimp, salad, potatoes, Mac and cheese, jambalaya rice and much more. Oh and let me not forget to mention the Zydeco Rolls. Omggggg! You have got to get an order or two or three of those. You will not be disappointed. Parking: There is more than enough space for parking. Kid-friendliness: There is a small spot in the the grass that kids can play of course under adult supervision
