Being from out of town (Chicago), I wanted to try Texas Barbecue but I dont eat pork, so I found a place where the staff was welcoming. The food was very good, turkey was not dried out !!!! They also had a cozy patio area if you wanted to eat there, but I had to return home. Next time!!!!! Dietary restrictions: For those that dont eat pork they have chicken and turkey.

Its one of my all-time favorite Texas BBQ joints! Hands down, this is the best Texas BBQ. They also have the best Boudin this side of the Mississippi! They have a full menu until they sell out as everything is fresh, so get there early! Oh, and everything is homemade. Dont forget that banana puddin for dessert. A very friendly staff, delicious sides, great ambiance, family games, sweet tea, and a pitmaster that has a lifetime of experience to satisfy your bbq craving needs! Top shelf! Youll be glad you went!

What a great experience! We were in town and my son wanted BBQ so we google and found 3CBBQ. Little nervous at first as it was off the main road, but what a find. Atmosphere was great, staff made great recommendations and the food, brisket, stuff baked potato were all amazing. Glad we found the place, highly recommend.

Small in the hole BBQ joint with LEGIT BBQ meats. BRISKET: is fall off tender, moist and actually flavorful on the inside, not just the bark unlike most bbq and is fantastic RIBS: are tender, good flavor and smokey as they should be. PULLED PORK: super tender and not to the point its mush, great amount of bark and its not covered in sauce like Killens! It really shined thru. Mac n Cheese is good, its not gooey, it chunks up together, you can really see the seasoning, has a smokey flavor. Its good for the location but could be better if not so dry. Signature BBQ sauce- its a no for us. They really need to refigure their recipe bc this was some of the worst BBQ sauce weve ever tasted. Im thankful it wasnt in any of the food. Coming from a hispanic IT TASTES LIKE SWEET SALSA! Not sure if it had mango in it? I highly recommend to sample it before buying. Also LOVED the pickle onions. Theyre unlike any other Ive had or made. I wish they sold them too!! Found this place because of the Annual Humble BBQ cook off and its worth the drive! Its also priced very fair compared to others. 4 bc of the sauce as its such an important thing.

By far the most fantastic bbq I have had in years! The big rib was so juicy and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was absolutely amazing especially with the lean brisket added to it. The potato salad is out of this world! The moist sliced brisket was so tender and hit the spot. Will definitely be back to try their in house made Boudin and regular ribs.

Let me tell you about this place. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. We had family visiting from outside of the country and the one thing they wanted was Texas BBQ. We came here and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We bought two pounds of moist and one pound of lean. The flavor of the sauce is out of this world wonderful. The brisket melts in your mouth. The greeting we received, very welcoming. Please note that the picture with the brisket was already demolished by our family dinner of 17 people. I couldn t get a picture of before.

I m kind of a BBQ snob and rarely leave impressed. I happened to drive by one day and looked up the reviews. This place is insane and I am beyond thrilled to have found it. The staff is amazing and stops by to chat and connect. Today they had live music and a new hot honey pork chop that is to die for. (Desserts are crazy too. The peach cobbler and banana pudding are both amazing). I followed them on Facebook to see the specials and any events they have going on because they post often. OMG!! Best brisket, ribs and mudbugs (crawfish) I have had anywhere in this part of Texas. The brisket and ribs were tender and flavorful (no sauce needed). The ribs were perfectly cooked to the point right before they fell off the bone. Texas BBQ at its finest! The mudbugs were cooked like should be, with the seasoning in the water, giving just enough heat to satisfy me, and not too much for my wife (who doesn t handle hot stuff well). The garlic infused butter that came with the crawfish was the icing on top, it was perfect. Last, but not least, the rustic atmosphere was great, the staff were all very friendly and the service was perfect. I will definitely be back soon! Sorry about the food picture, didn t think about taking a photo until we had already eaten some of it.

I just left the place and Im eating the most delicious, moist, tender, juicy, flavorful brisket I have ever had in my life. No more going to Pappas BBQ for me. Those brisket poboys are good but does not even come close to this pure deliciousness. This was my first time, as Ive just discovered this place. The man gave me a military discount, brought my food out to me and wow. Honestly, at first I thought the price seemed a little high but after biting into this, its totally worth every penny. And Brisket is NOT cheap. I love this place! After running out of leftovers from my trip to Lockhart, Texas (the capitol of Texas bbq) I was worried that I wouldnt be able to find that level of delicious brisket at home. Then I found Third Coast BBQ and all my worries just melted away like the tender moist brisket did in my mouth. Its not just the brisket either, everything I ordered was a 10/10. I recommend Third Coast more than any other place Ive eaten. The scenery is great too. Youll be eating outside, but dont let that concern you. They have plenty of fans and its all covered so its actually pretty comfortable. Theres also several games and an overall great vibe and atmosphere. It feels like eating at your well-off uncles nice backyard patio at your yearly family bbq, only difference is you dont have to listen to your annoying well-off uncle talk about all things he plans to do to his nice backyard patio before next years family bbq. In conclusion, Third Coast has restored my faith and Houston BBQ, while being a great place to sit, talk, play games, and eat, whether youre alone or with the whole family. 10 out of 10!

Its rare for me to give out 5 stars but this place is worth it. I had the brisket potato and picked up a side of ribs. I could only eat about 1/3 of it for my lunch and brought the rest home after work. Several of my coworkers asked me where I got it, so I told them. We picked up for lunch on the weekend and were impressed with the service despite how busy it was! The ribs were some of the best we ve had, and the lean brisket sandwich was great! We ended up ordering one of the combos. Received brisket, pulled pork, turkey and ribs. We also ordered a pound of crawfish. The order came in just under $100. The amount of food for the price is excellent. The ribs came off the bone and were tender. The turkey had good flavor and was still juicy. The combo also came with 3 side. We got the Mac and cheese, pinto beans, and potato salad. Careful the potato salad has a little spice in it.

Literally the best meat I ve eaten I my entire life. Amazing true local BBQ vibe, awesome and friendly staff. Place feels like going to your favorite neighbor for backyard BBQ. Now I understand why people pray before the meal - it was so delicious that I ve almost cried because of happiness! If you would come to Texas just to visit 3rd Coast BBQ - it s worth the longest trip.

Read the reviews & had to try for myself. Got the brisket sandwich with Cajun potato salad & a side order of ribs. Man, this food is just absolutely incredible. Theres nothing I would have changed. The bbq sauce just took it to another level. Definitely some of the best if not the best. Will be adding this to my regular stops whenever I visit Texas. Highly recommended. And one more thing, this place is clean & so are the gentleman who work there. Just totally professional dudes who were blessed to be able to bbq like that. What a great meal & experience!

Stopped by on a whim when I saw this small place from upfront, but has a really nice outdoor seating setup. Had the chopped beef sandwich and they even ask if you want moist or regular meat. Not many places do that for the chopped beef sandwiches which was perfect and had onions and pickles to add on. It was the BEST chopped beef sandwich I may have ever had. It was $17 for the sandwich, chips and a sweet tea (although it wasnt very sweet). Next time Im in the area Ill be trying everything else!

First time trying this place. I normally stay to home bbq but went outside of my comforts and ordered from here. I can t speak to the customer service because my food was picked up by a friend. BUT I order d the twisted tray with brisket, boudin link and Pete s baked potato. The twisted tray with brisket was amazing the pretzel was perfectly buttered but it s not salted. It s served with bbq sauce, nacho cheese and Dijon mustard. I loved the pretzel with the cheese but I only had one little container (needed another) and the brisket was smoked well but was not seasoned and no I m not a fan of bbq sauce but you may be and that alls the flavor you ll need but I m a fan of smoked meat no sauce and the brisket needed some seasoning. The boudin was extremely flavorful and surprisingly I think it was brisket meat inside. My only issue was it was the rice to meat ration was off not enough rice in the boudin but it may be ok for you so definitely give it a try. Lastly the baked potato and I had it with smoked Turkey. It was massive and extremely good. The Turkey was amazing. I couldn t finish it but omg it was great. We also had ribs with side of greens and Mac n cheese and peach cobbler. The ribs and sides were good but the peach cobbler was kind of mushy but that could have been so to the container it was in: All and all I would recommend and go back.

When I tell you this is the BEST barbecue in Texas, that is an understatement. This weekend I had what I usually order- a baked potato. The Pete s big baked potato is to die for, and I cannot stop coming back! Every time I eat here, they do not disappoint. The owners, Troy and DeeDee are some of the nicest people I have ever met and they work hard to provide the best meals for their customers. And on top of it all, their daily specials never fail to amaze me. This weekend they started their SmashBurgers, and I wasn t ready for the flavor bomb that was about to explode. I will never not say anything amazing about this small business restaurant, because they exceed my expectations every time. Also, special mentions to one of their Employees Drew. I have never met anyone who has such precise knife skills as this man! This place is unbelievable, and everyone needs to try. Cheers to them!

Down home bbq in a place where youd least expect it... Had a little trouble finding it but so worth the effort! We had a tray with 4 meats and 2 sides so it gave us a great taste test of brisket, pulled pork, sausage and ribs... Everything was delicious. Especially the ribs! Will def come back for those. Potato salad had a twist being cajun. Unusual but good! Would def order next time. Their beans were so good with pieces of brisket. When were in this neck of the woods well definitely be coming back!

Ive past this place for 3 yrs now mostly because Im a chef myself and usually am waking when they are closing. Luckily for me I had a visit from a buddy from back home in NYC. We put it on our to do list and 2 hours before his plane departure we hit it hard. Hands down best BBQ in and around Houston area if not all of Texas. Besides the absolutely amazing food, the staff, service and atmosphere was unbelievable. Hands down the best BBQ spot Ive ever been to. After a few visits to many other honorable spots on my trip to Texas. I felt happy, but not fully satisfied. Until me and my friend decided to hit up one last try. And from the second we pulled up we knew we found our Meca. 3rd Coast BBQ brings the goods. Atmosphere, awsome family friendly staff. And of course the menu.. the best Brisket Ive ever tried. Amazing twist on smoked sausage. And fall off the bone baby backs. Mix in that cool off the beaten path backyard vibe, left me with a great final memory of what Texas BBQ should be. Run, dont walk to this place. They sell out quick for a reason. Thanks guys..

3rd Coast is great and should be on your radar if you love barbecue. They dont have crazy lines like some of the other big barbecue places, but I think its just because theyre newer, and I completely mean that as a positive. Parking: Parking is very small, but hasnt been a problem.

The staff was super friendly and their food was just amazing! Ordered the poppa plate (?) And everything was delicious! I personally reccommend the turkey or pork. The pork was just pull apart tender melt in your mouth delicious. I tried the cajun potato salad and the owner did not lie when she said it had a little bit of a pop! If you dont like that theor mac and cheese would be a delicious side for any order. 10/10 going back again!
