First of all, I went to the location at WinStar. They never answer the phone I mean never and then it hangs up on you. So the only way you can make a reservation is online or actually going to the restaurant. I ordered a fillet that was cook the way I ordered it but the outside of the steak was very dry. The waiter asked if I wanted another one, and at first I said no because I was so tired. But then after I thought about -- that steak was $58 and should be cooked correctly for that price. So I asked if i could get another one in place of that one Winnie brought the check. Suddenly, there may be an issue so he hast to ask the manager. The manager and I tell him I want the steak comes out, and I tell him Id like to have my steak replaced. There was a long Long pause as he looked at the steak which I had hardly eaten. Then he says he can replace it but its gonna be a really small piece. It takes them forever to bring the new steak out, which was undercooked whether at that point I was so tired I just took it and left. But once I got Home it just dawned on me that the first steak I ordered was not the correct steak at all. It wasnt a fillet it was more like a sirloin. But I was too tired at the time to notice. I felt like it was a waste of money. And I didnt feel like I got the fine dining experience. Ive gone to cheaper places and gotten way better service.

Great experience on our first visit. Our steaks were excellent. Loved the Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and mushrooms. The half baked cookie was delicious. Cory took great care of us. Highly recommend.

One word, Amazing! The food is so delicious and our waitress was also knowledgeable concerning the menu and very hospitable. We tried many different sides and they were all GREAT but the Lobster Risotto was our absolute favorite side. I had the Steak & Cake with an enhancement of Lobster Oscar. My husband ordered Lamb Chops! Everything was tasty! Highly recommend!

Sadly disappointed. The ribeye was a good cut, but there was so much char from the grill I was picking the bits of char from my teeth. The au gratin potatoes were gritty, while the potatoes were undercooked. The value for the cost wasnt there.

Great classic steakhouse experience. Awesome happy hour specials, including both food and drinks. The tequila lime grilled shrimp and the lamb chops with peppercorn sauce are solid choices. The filet with Roquefort sauce is always a safe choice as long as you enjoy a strong bleu cheese flavor. The jalapeno bacon mac and cheese is the best side dish, in my opinion. It is well balanced and not too spicy. The sourdough bread is great as well!

We celebrated our 53rd Anniversary. This Kirbys steakhouse is amazing. The food that we ate was wonderful. Our waitress helped us with our appetizer selection. The lobster pieces in their bisque was delicious. The steak was so tender it almost melted in my mouth, It was great. The carrot was the best ever, Kirbys is now our go to special occasions restaurant. Thank you for a magical evening. Parking: We parked close to the front door in the handicap parking.

Huge THANKS to Kirby s and Adrienne who perfectly took care of our dinner event. Usually we go to Kirby s for my birthday but this year tried another local steakhouse and left saying we sure missed Kirby s . My wife came home and immediately made a reservation at Kirby s for a Do Over birthday. Was wonderful and I sure enjoyed my delicious Roquefort Filet. We told Adrienne our little story and then they actually treated us like it was my real birthday when they knew it was not the day. What a delightful and unexpected evening. Kirby s is our special place ! Thank you Adrienne and staff - we ll be back !

A couple years ago I worked an event where Kirby s was catered. I was personally impressed with both the staff and food at the event on that particular evening. Throughout the night I also had a few guests approach me, telling me how good Kirby s was versus the other places in town. Tonight, my wife and I, finally had our first Kirby s experience. The hostess promptly greeted us who were there for our anniversary. We were sat in a booth, offered some champagne, and throughout the evening told multiple times by staff, happy anniversary. We ordered the calamari, her a merlot, me the Kirby s old fashioned. Both were a nice start and the calamari was served hot. My wife ordered the filet and crab cake, me, the NY Strip, side of potatoes. The salads were a nice start, her the vinaigrette, me the creamy garlic, and a hot loaf of bread in the meantime was a nice compliment. Staff took photos, one with our phones, the other which was printed by them. A crème brûlée finished off a nice dinner and anniversary. Aside from the environment being a little louder than we had hoped, it s not enough to drop it down from 5 stars. The smaller things the staff did made up for it. As for those who want to try Kirby s try it. Don t let a few negative reviews dissuade you from going either. For those who leave one review and say they won t come back, despite multiple trips before the reality is the world isn t perfect. While my meal was on point, I ll leave nothing here but a positive review. I ll also add though the reviews also tell you despite the bad, there are plenty..plenty of positive experiences to offset the bad ones here or there. There is no steakhouse or restaurant that is perfect but Kirby s is pretty damn close

Read the reviews and tried this place. Whaattt? Are they buying reviews to bring customers. Let me tell you. Tried lobster bisque and it was so salty. Tried shrimp cocktail and it was frozen shrimps with no flavor. Everything we tried had issues. So how can I believe reviews and go to places. I love great food and I believe food can make you happy. But this place was another waste of money and time. The server was rude as well. No smile at all. Huh we didn t come to this place to eat for free. At least give us a pleasant service. Ok now I m done with this place as well. Tried for the first time and I m regretting. Hopefully I wouldn t get a belly ache lol. Try this place if you dare lol

My Wife and I frequent beautiful restaurants like Kirby s Steakhouse, but last night s Kirby s Steakhouse experience was phenomenal. From the front / reception with Astrid and her team to the appetizers / wine / main entrees / birthday dessert, facilitated by Korey, was an excellent evening. Korey s knowledge, attention to detail, and astuteness to our questions was unbelievable. He undoubtedly knew all the menu items and articulated very clearly / carefully. The food preparation / presentation / taste resembled culinary artistry. The quality indisputably was exceptionally above anything I ve tasted. The Kirby cocktail sauce was like none I ve ever tasted, a unique blend of sweet and spicy ingredients. The Steak-n-Cake entree was unbelievable. The steak was very very tender, and could be cut with only a fork. I ve never tasted a well done steak with a little crisp on the outside and very moist / soft on the inside. The lump crab cake and sauce was an awesome combination. This far surpassed any east coast entree I ve ever consumed. Phenomenal! The potato chip crusted red fish, with the lump crab and spinach risotto was incredibly tasty and something my Wife has never experienced. very tasty and a proprietary product like no other. While the food was outstanding, it was enveloped with Korey s outstanding / customer-first service efforts! Korey s been doing this for quite some time, because he constantly surveyed our needs and showed up at the right moment with the right items, without any requests. It was as though he was a mind reader and could anticipate / met our needs. Astrid was an unbelievable coach / mentor / friend / support Leader like no one I ve seen. She demonstrated exceptional Customer Care / Service, to be sure our experience was bar none the best! We ll be back quickly / repetitively, as this is our go to restaurant for anything any time. I emphatically recommend you to give it a try and see if you experience the same experience we experienced! Phenomenal!!!

Fruit loop martinis are the bomb, ladies! Its not on the menu. Ask nicely. But persist! From the reception to the wait staff to the drinks from the bar staff to the dishes from the kitchen staff to the management checking in on our experience, it all coalesced as one of the finest meals this world traveler has ever had. We went to Kirby s for our anniversary. This was such a great experience. From the moment we walked in every staff member greeted us with Happy Anniversary, thank you for celebrating your evening with us. The food was exceptional. I had the Steak and Cake (5 oz filet and 3 oz crab cake) it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the ribeye. Also cooked to perfection. We were also treated to the house chocolate cake - so good! Our reservation was confused yet they quickly gave us a wait table & then the booth in the bar area as we we requested. This is truly one of the best steaks you will find in DFW, that is coupled with phenomenal service. This is our go-to spot for family celebrations and holiday meals, and we are always thrilled with the level of service and care each time we visit. Our menu favorites are the center cut filet (with numerous styles customizations available to your liking), mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes. Very cozy steak house, with a beautiful selection of wines. The servers were very friendly, and the food was cooked exactly how I wanted it. I got the wygu steak, and it was the literal definition of melt in your mouth perfection. I would highly recommend this place for a celebration, anniversary, or just a fun night out with friends, but be prepared to spend some money. It will be well worth it though.

This was my first time coming to this establishment and I felt very welcomed. From the host greeting me when I came in to the manager who wanted to help me with the bouquet of flowers I had brought for a birthday dinner. The appetizers were amazing even with one error being replaced for another, it was a welcoming one. My entree was amazing in every aspect, the place is obviously known for their amazing steak but do not feel you need to shy away from their seafood. I do appreciate our server being patient with all the requests my table had but I couldn t get over the fact it was very very drawn out. I got their at 7pm and when we were all done it looked like they were already closing up. Maybe that is something someone wouldn t mind but it is something someone should be aware of when coming here. Overall experience was exceptional but it was a very long dinner.

Everytime I go to Kirbys I get the pepper steak and mashed potatoes. It never disappoints and I crave it for weeks after Ive been. I took my son (12 yo) for the first time tonight. Keith was awesome! It was our 7th wedding anniversary dinner and he made it a great visit. Food was fantastic. The carpaccio was amazing. My filet ordeted medium rare came out really blue, but they fired it back up to a medium rare very quickly. Mt wife loved the sea bass and my crab cake was on point. The service was terrible. 30 minutes before our drinks arrived. 30 more for ice tea. Drink was way too heavy on the alcohol. If I wanted pure whisky I would hand ordered it. Only ordered one entree because I didn t trust the staff. Server was terribly inattentive. When the food came it was brought by runners and the server never even checked on us. Luckily, the steak was cooked perfectly for a black and blue. The food was great. Managers finally came by but never acknowledged the bad service or apologized. We don t expect much, but for $100/plate we expect better.

We had shrimp for appetizer (not the shrimp cocktail), house salad, asparagus soup, peppercorn steak, filet mignon, sauteed spinach, & Susies mashed potatoes. Everything was prepared to perfection... however, my filet was prepared medium and I wanted medium well (no problem), issue was resolved quickly and my steak was still very delicious. Lets talk about our waiter CHRISTOPHER. He was phenomenal... pleasant, courteous and attentive. He was soooooo deserving of our generous tip. We will definitely come back and request him with the hope of receiving the same great service. The general manager was just as pleasant and a well dressed man. He too was just as attentive. Wow! I take my hat off for this place. Our server, Keith gave us the best welcoming, champagne glasses were awaiting for my wife and I. The food was the most amazing, the steak to its perfection and to top everything off Keith brought to us my favorite dessert a cream Brule. To end, Kirbys is a good place for your special occasion.

My wife and I dined here in November of 2022 to celebrate our anniversary. I made a reservation and told them it was our special day. When we arrived, we were greeted with Happy Anniversary which was a promising start. We were immediately shown to our table, and drink orders were taken. We selected the Bonanza red wine, which at $40 is a good buy since its $20 at retail. Only paying 2X at a steakhouse isnt bad. I had the ribeye, which was good, but not excellent, and my wife had the Sea Bass, which she said was excellent. Service was good. Not great, but good. After dinner, I expected to be offered a free dessert for our anniversary. Weve eaten many anniversary meals out, and a nice restaurant ALWAYS does this, sometimes even with a personal message. IMHO, when you drop this kind of coin, its really not asking that much. Instead, we were offered to buy our own dessert, which we declined. Next time well stick to The Capitol Grill or Bobs, which never fail to make us feel special on our day.

Went during happy hour, and the happy hour pricing was just perfect. Ordered one of everything on the happy hour menu from drinks to appetizers and the only one that really wasn t wasn t worth it was lamb chop lollipops first they were just over cooked, second time they came back the temperature was fine but a bit tasteless. Shrimp cocktail, tequila, shrimp, and fried pickles were fantastic. Service was really good never had to wait on anyone .

I ordered a filet 7 oz it was full of grissle. I have never experienced a filet with this amount of grissle. When I said something the manager basically called me a liar and was very rude. There are to many places that serve a better steak and not such rude management. I will not waste $100 for a one person meal there again. Very disappointing.

Just consistently the best dining experience in the area. Been to top steakhouses all over and the service and food combo of this Kirbys is hard to beat. Thomas is a great host and it shows in the entire staff. Attentive and friendly but not overbearing. As for the food, everything is great but my usual order of tomato/onion salad, Roquefort filet, creamed spinach is undefeated.

Id give it a zero if I could.... Worst experience ever. Our waiter, Mark, was inattentive and downright AWFUL! We made reservations weeks in advance for my husband s birthday. We arrived on time with our 2 girls (6 and 8) ready for a nice birthday meal. We were seated right away and it was downhill from there. 5-10 minutes went by before we were checked on. Long delays in checking in, taking our orders, etc. 2hrs later we were STILL waiting for our meals our poor 6yr old fell asleep in our booth. We left and will NEVER go back. Im appalled at how terrible the whole experience was. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Our time at Kirby s was splendid and memorable! We had a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary. The martinis, food, and cuisine was delicious and exquisite! Our waitress Adrienne was attentive, friendly, and caring - she knows what hospitality means. We were delighted when Teddy and Astrid visited our table - you can tell that there is a One-Team approach as everyone helped one another. Drinks, food and service were excellent. Its a very cozy high-end stakehouse. We had a group of 9 and they were able to accommodate us with same day reservation. I had the Angus Ribeye. Was cooked well and perfect temperature. I had mashed potatoes for a side. Sides are served to share. No one in our party was disappointed. I wouldve liked to have had a few more options (only 2) for draft beer but I liked what I had. I am not a wine drinker but I also understand they probably sell a lot more wine than beer. I would suggest if you have not expirenced one of these types of restaurants before. Ask questions and have them explain what youre getting and keep in mind the daily specials will be really expensive. If you dont see a price youll probably want to order something else unless you dont care how much it costs. I dont want you to be shocked when you get your bill. Also if youre not happy with your food. Send it back. Youre paying good money for you meal. Have them make it right. Parking: They have their own lot with plenty of parking.

The meal and visit was average, and not what I expected from fine dining steakhouse. I ordered a $85 daily special off the menu Dry Aged Strip, that was below average. The steak and mashed potatoes came out cold and had a lot of gristle and fat attached to it. On the bright side my companion received a warm, and tasty 10oz Filet. Additionally, the au gratin potatoes and brussels sprouts were very good. Although, not overly impressed with the steak, the restaurant was nice and reminiscent of old fine steak houses throughout the years.

It was my first time eating Kirbys last Friday, I made an 8:30 PM reservation for my birthday just my boyfriend and I. We are both food connoisseurs, we were on an adventure to find a new place to have great quality Steak. We arrived at 8:00 PM, the staff was able to seat us early and it was very busy. I knew I wanted a Filet Mignon, my boyfriend ordered the Steak and Cake with a side of Au gratin Potatoes. He also had their soup of the day (I believe it was a lobster and cheese? I could be wrong) but he said that was amazingly good. When they brought out our food, everything was piping hot and delicious. My steak was overcooked. but the manager quickly threw another one and made us fresh potatoes. When they brought out the new steak, I couldnt believe how silky this meat felt in my mouth. It was almost like butter melting, so decadent I cant even begin to explain how different this experience was compared to ANY high end steak place we have been to. They even brought out a piece of fresh chocolate cake with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream on top with chocolate syrup and pecans. If I could give our waiter Armando 10 stars, I would. Thank you to all of the staff for making my birthday memorable. I will be coming back VERY soon.

My past reviews have been great. On my birthday today, was the worst Ive had in years. Used open table. Asked for quiet table. Tried to sit us next to party eight drunks. Ordered asparagus, never came. Ordered melot with dinner. Came at end. Never acknowledge Birthday. Had $20 coupon from anniversary. They forgot it. Lobster was soft, hope I dont get sick. We are back to Macs on main, Perrys or Brunos. Sorry, this just hit too hard. Teddy welcomed us and then when it went to server, it sll crashes. After 30 years, one too many.
