Nice little park. Very quiet, clean, & friendly staff. Its more like a parking lot than a typical RV park, as you can see on their website. But we didnt mind that since we planned on spending the whole time at the beach anyway. Its just a short walk to the beach, & there was hardly anyone there, so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Nice accommodations & location, especially for the price. We will be back!

I had the opportunity to enjoy a day on the seashore on Padre Island. Security is very good and the beach is clean, the toilet facilities and shower area are excellent. I like to go and sit in a chair in the water to receive the waves as a massage.

For the $12 price just go to isla Blanca please. The restrooms at this access are horrible, the water pressure for the shower rooms is almost non-existent. The shower curtains are mostly broken so take a friend to be able to hold the broken shower curtains up for you or take a beach towel to cover it for privacy. If for whatever reason you end up at this Andy Bowie park take an empty water gallon jug to collect water to wash yourself properly in the shower stalls. The Park section for kids is taped off and unusable so there is no park for the children. The deck where youre supposed to be able to picnic is also taped off and unusable. Avoid access two ! It wasnt worth it. It was truly disappointing, the only reason for choosing this access was because the images when googling it are deceitful. Posted images still show the working park area which would of been perfect for the children but it was a sad disaster and complete disappointment. Playground: Play ground out of order and taped off.Not in use.Broken. Toilets: Horrible condition.shower water pressure is almost non-existent.

Great place to put up a tent, chairs and even a table. Sometimes crowded depending on what time of year you go. It is a good walk from the entrance to the beach so bring a good pair of shoes not flip flops. Sand is extremely hot!!

The playscape and the shaded pavilion are in such disrepair that they are closed. There s no sign at the entrance about this. Just a warning that there are no refunds after you pay the minimum charge of $12 per car. We paid to take the kids to this park because of the playscape in the sand pictured online. Playground: Closed because of disrepair. Picnic area: Closed because of disrepair.

Its a paid beach with a $12 fee for each car. Honestly you only pay for the parking, the beach is not maintained, not clean and has a bunch of college kids all the time with loud music and parties. The facilities are also not clean. Save your money and go to one of the free beach up north or even south.

Very narrow entrance. RV Park is basically a parking lot with RV hookups. Beach access is not handicapped friendly. Walkable to a few restaurants. Toilets: The womens restroom has one shower stall and three toilets. Open 24 hours in the RV park area. The restrooms in the beach access area are closed at 5;30 PM, according to the post on the gate window. The posting didnt specify which restrooms were closed at 5:30 PM. That was confusing. We discovered that the RV campsite restrooms are always open.

Its a decent place to stay. Close to the beach, nice trail to it. Also close to the convention center, laguna Madre nature trail, gift shop and Claytons! The spots are a bit small and close together for bigger rigs. Its kind of just like a parking lot but with hookups. Nobody spoke to me while I was there, other than at check in, but its a peaceful place.

Campground driveway is not conducive to a long fifth wheel. It curves back and forth so your trailer will go over the curbs. Sites are plenty long for my 42 foot fifth wheel. I would not attempt the exit driveway with longer than a 30 foot trailer though. Great beach access and several bars are walkable down the beach. Campground is basically a parking lot though.

The beach is good because there are not many people, access is $12 dollars, however the walk from where the tables are to the beach is very long. If you are on the beach and you go back to the table area, before you arrive there is a faucet from which a lot of water comes out, however in the bathroom shower it is another story, you have to be pressing a button for it to The water comes out and it only lasts about 3 seconds, you have to press the button like crazy to get the sand off. Its not bad, but I think that if there are better areas, if the showers had enough water it would be perfect.

The park is open for RV camping. I called ahead and the nice man on the phone told me they could accommodate our rig. Perfect! I told him that our RV is 43 long. We trailer our motorcycle so we are a total of 60. No problem, he said, except there was a BIG one! The entrance has extreme curbs!!! We were all over them!!! It as a parking lot, a small parking lot at that, where the RV Park is. Its on the beach and close to shops and restaurants so thats a plus. We ultimately had to park our enclosed trailer in an adjacent parking lot and seeded into a our site.

While being parked here, my 5th wheel attachment in my truck . Was stolen. So I m stranded. Not only am I a single woman stranded without power, sewer, water, anything but I was in a motorcycle crash that makes it nearly impossible for me to work. So I can t leave and the rate for my parking space (which, it is a parking space that is all it is) keeps increasing. $25 a day to now $35 a day -and I can t leave. The workers claim my truck hitch was not stolen here. Ok. I agree, it seems probably difficult but they have cameras. Please . Why are you not checking them when I ve been asking since the day it happened? I can t press charges or pursue damages against the guilty party until I can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt WHERE the theft took place. I need those tapes. Please release the proof to me or stop asking me to pay rent in a spot I can t leave.
