The food was good. However, charging a $1 to sub gravy for queso on enchiladas is ridiculous when the enchiladas plate price is already high. Plus, I removed gravy for the queso. Leaves an unsatisfactory feeling and will think twice to come next time.

I dinned in the restaurant (Mi Rancho), and after eating, I ordered to go to take to work because I did not cook that day. First, I could not have bowel movements for three days, which was weird because I had never had such problems. Since that day till now, after eating the food, my stomach has not been the same. My stomach has been highly constipated after eating the food from the restaurant. I have been wondering what was put in the food. The feeling in my stomach has been weird since the day I ate their food, and I did not eat anything other than the restaurant food that day, so I am sure the food caused it. Less I forget, the chicken seems to have been preserved. The chicken that was also included in the to-go plate I ordered to take to work I could not eat it because of how my stomach was reacting; I felt it was just a temporal thing, but I realized that the chicken seemed to have been preserved for a long time or something or I was served food that was remnant. I couldn t tell but I continued to ask myself what food I had been given that could cause such bloating and constipation of my stomach. Plus, the salsa wasn t very good. I wouldn t have eaten there if I d known my stomach would never be the same.

Its typical to find the beans undercooked at every Mexican restaurant and this place was no different. Salsas were bland or too lime flavored. Service was like I was in the school lunch room and we had hall monitors that just wanted to talk about you rather than help. The food looked good until we took a bite.

Horrible customer service. The manager Juan Lozano has no business managing anything that has to do with customers. This place really does not care about having repeat customers. They screwed up our order and took no initiative to fix it. Manager had a terrible attitude and refused to give info for the person above him. Food is also mediocre at best.

Ordered enchiladas al carbon plate The gravy on these enchiladas was like it came from a microwavable meal. The taste of the sauce was disgusting. I tried one enchilada and ate my rice and beans. I wanted to share my concerns with the staff. The manager came out and stated you ate almost all of it lol I explained to him I just didnt like it. They refunded me but I didnt like his comment. Do not get enchiladas here if youre wanting real authentic Mexican food.

Service was phenomenal. Food was terrible. We had fajitas for 2. They came out very quickly and we were excited about that, one bite and it was easy to see why they came out so quickly. They were so dry, They must have been cooked already and sitting under a heat lamp. (Or the cook is just absolutely terrible.) We enjoys the friendly speedy service, but won t be back.

I owe the manager and waitress my deepest apologies. I had gotten a take out order and when I got back to the room I did not see one of the meals. I went back to check and they clearly saw on the video the meal was there. I went back to my room and evidently one of my dogs had smashed one meal into the other. I am so embarrassed and the staff was very nice. My deepest apologies again. I feel really stupid.

Extremely delicious and most of the time 5/5. Mixture of front cashiers, they like you or you are annoying them. Its a toss up! If you eat in the restaurant, 4/5 service most of the time. Upscale-ish taqueria with better food than we expected!! It was GREAT!! What a nice surprise!! The floor was clean (for my service dog in training, very helpful for not distracting her) and the wait staff was very friendly and warm!! Excellent Tex Mex restaurant. The servers were friendly, patient and brought out our food really fast. The menu is extensive with authentic Mexican dishes and a beautiful well stocked bar. Will go here again Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are fairly limited, but theyre really good. The spinach Enchiladas were great, especially with added sauteed vegetables.

I find it unfair, in a sense, for me to leave a review as I am not a fan of Tex-Mex. I am from Southern California, and it is crazy how different the food tastes. That being said, my family loves the food here and brings us by at least once a visit. I cant fault the restaurant for my preferences, so each time we visit, I pick something different on the menu and then wait to see how my gut will handle it I love the warm salsa tho (in CA it is served cold)! The staff here go out of their way to cater to my grandfather (a regular there) and make sure that his food is exactly how he orders it. They are friendly and accommodating, which to me means more than what the food tastes like.

Came in with the wife , sister and brother in law for dinner . The food that we waited almost 45 minutes for was cold. Not lukewarm but cold. The cheese was already congealed on two of the orders. The fajitas I had were cold and tough. They rehated the food but again cold. Spoke with the manager and I felt he could have cared less. So I paid the bill (100.00) and we left. I will not be back. We eat at your Spring location quite often and its five stars every time. Hell no wonder there wasnt a lot of customers inside. I am really disappointed in this place. Never again!

Walked here from the Marriott. Was really good food, salsa etc. Better than we expected honestly. Service was outstanding and the whole experience was better than most local tex-mex weve eaten at. Selling a house, hence the Marriott but weve been eating Mexican food in the Houston and DFW areas for 40+ years. Give it a try. We did and loved it.

First time dining at Mi Rancho. Went completely off the online reviews and I must say these 4 and up reviews are completely misleading. Ordered fajitas for 2 and only got 4 tortillas. Asked for more, not knowing this is an upcharge...which is disappointing because the tortillas are not even homemade; they are store bought. The fajitas were warm, cool, and not hot; the skillet wasnt even sizzling. Ordered a skinny margarita, but was served a drink loaded with orange juice. This restaurant charges a service fee, that isnt told to the guests upfront; only way to avoid is to pay by cash only. Last but not least, the communication was completely off due to a huge language barrier. Needless to say our experience was a total fail. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

End result: my opinion is that Mi Rancho was just mediocre. I dont get it: the dining area and cocktail bar ambiance is fun, lively like being at a celebration in Mexico, the service is outstanding, its busy its kept clean, but the food...was just overpriced Taco Bell grade food at about $23 per person. We were disappointed. I hate giving less than stellar reviews but I have to just be honest about my personal experience here, because out of all the factors that make a great restaurant it really just comes down to one thing: the quality of the food. Even though all my other experience at this restaurant were A+, the food was a C-. I was very excited to try here because Ive always seen that its busy, Ive seen the reviews on Yelp and other websites. We were greeted and seated rather quickly even though it was very busy in here. The staff was super friendly and acknowledged us quickly and took our food and drink orders. The menu has a good variety of items listed on it and theyre cocktail bars seems to be quite lively. The amount of time from ordering to bringing food to our table was very quick! We ordered the sour cream enchiladas, the burrito Sabroso, chicken quesadilla plate and the law Placita which had a little bit of everything on there. The presentation of the food was great but when you get to the actual ingredients and taste it was disappointing. The meal portion sizes were rather small, the meals tasted a bit heavy-handed on the salt, the meats tastes and textures were below expectations, and the cheese was a processed Velveeta style cheese. Whats disappointing was that everything up to the point of the taste of the food was spectacular. Ive eaten a lot of TexMex and ultimately, I just wasnt impressed. Overall if youre looking for a good bar or very basic Tex-Mex type of meal this is a great place for you. But for me I dont feel that I got what I paid for. I personally cannot give high recommendations for Mi Rancho but Im sure they have enough other followers that have a different opinion than mine. Great place to visit for cocktails and ambience but for me, the food quality was unfortunately anemic.

If I could rate this lower I would, This establishment needs better management, while waiting for our food the staff here were using drums very loudly without taking guests into consideration with babies or younger kids around. Secondly, the waiter gave us poor service and was very rude. It was a Sunday night dinner with family and ended up being very unpleasant with cold food and rude service.

If you like bland Mexican food, this is the place for you. Had the chicken diablos, and didnt even get a tingle. Friend had shrimp diablos and said the same thing. The charro beans were very disappointing, Ive had canned beans with more flavor. Service was very attentive, atmosphere was good. If you need someplace to take a youngun, grandparent or yankee this is probably your best bet.

I always visit humble location but this location t the woodlands has been my quick stop. Love the drinks and food unfortunately I gotta a say the food was salty a bit to strong. Charro brand the chicken and shrimp too. Because I have eaten delicious food before I know there is a good set of standards and because I think constructive criticism is positively applied I would suggest to please do your line check. Do you spoon taste and always trust your instincts to do it right versus its alright. I will still visit but this is nothing a applause the constant good food I had taste before. I visit it Monday after 6pm

I like the restaurant. Its open, spacious, and the decor is nice. The food quality and temperature were not appealing. I did not like their chips at all. The salsa was fair. We had a fairly large party. The waiter was adequate, but definitely not outstanding. I had the sour cream chicken enchilada meal. My husband had the Tampiquena dinner. Others got quesadillas and fajita plates. The skirt steak on my husbands plate was gray, as if boiled instead of flame grilled. I had heard good things about a different location. We love Mexican food!! We definitely expected more for the price! Parking: Restaurant is on the corner of a large strip center. There is plenty parking available. Kid-friendliness: We had six children in our party. The place is certainly kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is spacious. I wouldnt think there would be any issues for a wheelchair navigating through the restaurant.

Worst Mexican experience I ever had, service was horrible. Food was horrible, drinks were okay: that s it. My fajitas just had hot water on it. I don t even have a bite. It didn t look appetizing at all.

Service and atmosphere great. The food is below subpar. We started with the shrimp cocktail and queso. Both okay, the cocktail needs a better cut on the vegetables and a thicker sauce. The fajitas are comparable to taco cabana. The chicken had a displeasing texture and look. The rice and beans were okay, but not enough to save a meal. The house margarita tasted like it came from a can. Over all it s pretty run of the mill if you want some low quality tex mex.
