My nephew had his bday lunch down there. And it was very nice. Park was clean everyone enjoyed themselves. Plenty of clean restrooms. And even for it being August there was a nice breeze out there. Kids enjoyed the playground lots for them to play on and enough space to run around. Even the older kids had enough room to toss the football.

It was cloudy asks overcast but this was our first time seeing the ocean! This was the only park open because of a recent hurricane. All other parks were still closed due to damages. We only found one small private beach open near Kemah for us to get in the water and collect shells. We love the Texas coastline!!

Nice park. Hurricane Beryl beached one sailboat and grounded another right in the park. It was very interesting to look at, but keep your kids away from them without supervision.

For over 9 years, I have been fan No.1 of this park. We used to live in minutes away, and I came here almost every week with my step-children. Now, I dont get to see it often, but I still cherish every memory. Two awesome and safe play grounds plus splash area, a huge area to run, walk or just to enjoy the sea, you can fish, there is also a boat ramp ( we used many times as well), lots of parking space, there is a spot for parties that is covered plus gated for the guest. Another open area with roof many tabke and chairs ( picnic area). Clean restrooms for the number of people visiting the area. This is NOT a dog park, but it is dog friendly, so please bring a dog that it is friendly with kids. Remember, this is a KIDS playground, and you must keep it safe for them. There are so many different things to do at this park. I truly enjoyed it. I hope all the people locals or new visitors keep an eye, clean after they leave, and protect all the play grounds. Report and old equipment so the city can provide a new one or fixed but must of all, please use it correctly, it is the kind of place you want to keep on coming and your kids will enjoy so very much just like we have for so many years. Excellent place to have a picnic and for small children to have fun. On July 4 you have a nice view of the fireworks, there are water games; tables, chairs, little roofs and bathrooms and a large parking lot. The place is very good.

Huge grounds, tons of covered seating. Nice piers to fish from. There are plenty of playgrounds for kids to play. The downside is that there is a lot of trash that has washed up on the shore. The public restrooms are not kept clean and smell like port-o-potties. Playground: Nice playground equipment. Clean and seem to be semi new. Toilets: Smell heavily of urine, floors were full of water and urine. Some of the stalls are stopped up with toilet paper. Sinks were constantly running and half filled with water. Picnic area: Nice, covered picnic areas all around. There are bigger pavilions and smaller gazebos available.

Very nice children and people, park was clean. If course the playground climb items was filthy. But, the kids had so much fun, dirty hands is part of it all... Take your family, its worth it, my husband went fishing, I bbq, and the kids played. It was nice!

Its a wonderful place to take a small child. A beautiful park, very scenic and picturesque. Clean. Well kept. I love that the play area is soft under foot. Looks like gravel, feels like grass. Neat! My daughter has special needs and is 17 but she played very well with me there and we had a good time on the swings and the pirate ship! Imagination is everything!

It is so relaxing to sit by the water, listen to nice music or read a book. However, it is sad to see that 5he fishing peers are not fixed yet. It is the end of 2022 and still nothing is done to repair the damage. Well, it is mid 2023 and still not finished I was pleasantly surprised to see that the peer is finally rebuilt. They did an excellent job. Kudos!

This was an amazing park. We were here for over 3 hours and had fun the whole time. The kids werent ready to leave even, but the sun was setting and it was time to get dinner. But if we lived in the area, this would be a regular park! Playground: Two separate full playgrounds with plenty of grass to play in around Toilets: Fine. Not gross, but not fancy. Its a park restroom Picnic area: Tables and benches theought out with a few gazebos with singular tables facing the bay. Very nice!
