One of the only tacos shops open 24 hours. I love how prices have stayed fairly the same after all these years despite inflation. $1.79 for a bean and cheese taco is one of the cheapest I ve seen for a simple taco. Only downfall is that the drive thru for 2 cars takes about 30 min Parking: 2 long rows of front parking and a short row of side parking. About 45 spots it looks like

Very surprised people like this are working here. Tina, the lady taking the order was very rude. Didn t thing much of it. Got out food and their was hair in it. Not a big deal, it s a restaurant things like that happen. Ended up telling the manager Teresa and she had an attitude about it telling me to just leave. Teresa and Tina had nothing but bad energy.

Hey this place is a nice place to eat at, however when it comes to food, it depends on what you get and it depends on a persons taste buds. The chicken tortillia soup I absolutely love. Price is fair. Parking: The parking lot is okay, its just dangerous pulling in and pulling out since its right off the highway. Also there is lots of construction in San Marcus right now.

Fuego is awesome. The selection of tacos is great and the food is delicious. They stuff the taco and you pay about $5 for it last I checked so a family of 4 can get out around 30-40 including chips/queso and drinks. I only wish theyd fill the chip bag up more.

Im soooooo jealous that we don t have a Fuego near my home. Fuego makes me want to move to San Marcos lol. When we first walked in the cashier had the brightest smile and most warm and genuine attitude, she made us feel so welcomed mind you, this is at midnight . When we got our food, everything was soooooo delicious, you can tell they put so much love and effort into each taco QUALITY at its finest! We ordered alot and every dish exceeded our expectations! They had generous servings as well, even the desserts were big, and sooo good! Thankyou for such great food and great service, WE LOVE FUEGO!!!!

Delicious fresh and hot food all day all served in a tortilla. Southern comfort is still my favorite but the hippies now a close second. Still good af and great place I love even after a few years. Pretty good breakfast tacos! I loved that you can take your dog and sit outside. Only wish they had some form of barrier from the highway. All the construction and cars made it loud while we ate. Id still go back, w/o my dog next time so we can try sitting inside, I think that would make it nicer. Parking: Construction (not restaurants fault) makes getting in take a sec but they have a ton of room. Take your trailer and feel safe.

Took the family to this restaurant for dinner after searching for food near Strahan Arena. Reviews looked good so gave it a try. We were not disappointed. First off the lady at the register was very helpful and helped us get the best bang for our buck. Above and beyond. The food was amazing. Now let me start by saying my family is extremely picky, especially the little ones, but they loved the mac and cheese and chicken and waffles. We had carne gusida tacos, barbacoa tacos, specialty tacos, rice, and beans. Everything was flavorful, cooked right, and hot. To top it off its not expensive either. They serve breakfast tacos all day and are open 24 hours. If you get a chance to go somewhere in San Marcos go here! You wont regret it.

I came to get some food after work February 7th around 4:30am and I ordered 1 loco pollo, 1 el presidente, 1 bean and cheese, and one potato and egg. When I got around to checking the bags I had 5 tacos: 1 el presidente, 1 potato and egg, and 3 bean and cheese (that s what I thought at least). So I went around to see what happened and if I could get my loco pollo which I paid over $6 for and not only did the overnight manager have me hand over each taco I had, she then threw them away and after some arguing about what went wrong did she finally remade the loco pollo for me. And refused to remake the bean and cheese that I paid for and she literally threw in the trash can. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. I have worked in the service industry for over 5 years both front and back of house and this was outrageous.

Okay, to pretty good breakfast tacos. Have tried the Carne Guisada, bean and cheese, potato and egg, and the Ranchero. (Carne Guisada, bean, and cheese pictured). Carne Guisada is very good, and the bean and cheese is very good. Potato and egg is just okay because of the liquid eggs used as they prepared my taco. The Ranchero is a good taco, minus the Ranchero sauce, in my opinion. The King taco is hands down my favorite taco in San Marcos. The Presidente is almost the same thing, but beef > chicken imo. If youre feeling spicy get Widowmaker salsa with it. Its a bright orange habanero salsa that will add a ton of kick into an already delicious taco. Worth every penny!

I went to fuego on the 18th of November late at night to get a snack after driving home for many hours. I ordered two good golly miss hollys and when I was given my order I asked again to confirm they gave me two GGMHs. They shouldnt be open 24 hours a day, after 02:00 AM the service is terrible. The phone doesnt stop ringing and they dont even care, they pick it up and hang it up. For three breakfast tacos (egg and beacon) I waited 30 minutes and when I approached to ask for my order the lady who received them was rude. Why offer a service that they dont know how to handle?

Went to drive thru late last night. New in town, and was excited to try it out. They were busy, but fairly quick. Taste was decent, but in all 4 tacos we ordered there were big pieces of hard plastic or bone or something. My friend cracked their tooth on one. Ended up throwing them out. The pieces were big enough for a kid to choke on. Such a shame, as I had always heard such good things about them. If it had only been one, I would have let it slide but thats just not ok.

I stayed at the Best Western next to this restaurant and, due to convenience, stopped in for dinner. The Fuel for Fitness was excellent - exactly what I was looking for after a day of airline flights. The meal had just the right amount of heat, not real hot, just right. This was my first visit to Fuego - and I subsequently returned the following day for another Fuel for Fitness bowl to take to-go (as per attached photo) back to the hotel. If you havent been here, I recommend stopping by. You order at the service desk, receive a number, and then have the food delivered to your table. Service was prompt. The food was fresh and tasty. The price is very reasonable - the bowl of food is quite large - very filling. I will certainly stop by again the next time I visit San Marcos!

This is one of my favorite places to eat and its the only late night drive thru in San Marcos that isnt burgers! They even have healthy options and gluten free options. I love this place!!! If you are a vegetarian try the veggie monster tacos. If you want more protein in them sub the corn for pinto beans. And for wheat and gluten free just ask for corn tortillas instead of flour. They have the very best homemade corn tortillas!!!

I purchased the South Padre shrimp taco. The tortilla was cold, completely drenched with cooking oil from the shrimp. The shrimp, which is normally breaded& crispy was greasy,soggy, essentially cold. It was inedible. The service, was snarky&rude. I don t know what happened to this place but the quality has gone down to zero. I ve ordered this taco many times before, yet never had it taste as if the grill was dirty and the oil,perhaps,was rancid. It made me deathly ill, never again.

Fuego looks awesome and i definitely want to back and see what happens during normal hours. At 500 in the morning it took 30 minutes to get 3 tacos. Not quite what one expects of a drive-thru. Even worse though was the fact that our food was ice cold. Certainly not Fuegos hottest moment. The menu looked amazing and Im going to give them a 2nd chance. Till then its just meh.

They have some of the best fast food type Tacos around. Very fresh ingredients, and pretty big tacos. A little pricey though. The Tortilla soup is fantastic! I just went back to Fuegos after a long pause. I went just to get chips and Guacamole as a snack in the middle of the night, and boy am I glad I did! It was probably the best Guacamole Ive ever had. Its fresh. Not the nasty Guac powder paste many places use. It has a little heat and some tomatoes. It was a big enough serving with a huge bag of chips, big enough to make a meal! Fuegos is still the place for late -night tacos and chips. The manager Starr Trejo, was super friendly.

Sad how poor the service and knowledge of menu items by staff is. Couldn t answer menu questions or if phone number can still be given to track visits. Wait time thru drive thru was ridiculously long over 30 mins! Used to be so much better here! Food
