These people contacted me about making a cash offer on my house. I was very clear that I was not interested in a lowball offer. We scheduled a time to talk and their consultant didn t call. I called him and he gave me some excuse about being on the highway. Newsflash. You just answered the cell phone you could ve used to call me and let me know you were going to call late. When he called me back, he did exactly what I told them I wouldn t put up with. He offered me about $40,000 less than market value on my house and wanted me to pay $64,000.00 in fees. That would have me getting almost $100,000.00 less than what my house is worth. Avoid these people like the plague. If you look at my other reviews, you ll see that this is the first negative review I have ever given someone.

Seller Beware: check your contracts closely! 7% commission when its typically 6% or lower elsewhere. In addition, they also will charge you 600 in transaction fees. Project management was terrible. Often sent me the wrong house for weekly reports and got my name wrong. I would also find out about buyer needs the day of. Never using AVO again, but they trapped me in a year listing agreement. Negotiate that as well.

Working with Nicole Hellmann and Avo Realty was a joy. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the market when selling my house and gave us all the data we need to make an informed decision with our unique situation which allowed us to get much more than we thought for our house. When buying, she showed us houses that matched our budget and checked all the boxes on our wishlist and never once wasted our limited time with nonsense. Each showing taught us exactly what we liked and did not, and narrowed in on our dream home, which we found thanks to Nicole, and at a much lower price than we ever expected. Nicole Hellmann and Avo Realty were instrumental in the selling of my old house and the buying of my new one. Nicole was able to find me a unique offer for my home, which meant no open houses, no last-minute last walkthroughs, and no inconvenience at all. I was able to set and move my own closing date to better line up with my new build, which Nicole also found for me in an up-and-coming area. Not only is the area perfect but so is the house, and by working with her and Avo I was able to get many extras added to the house for free. Not only that, on my closing date she called me from the hospital where she was giving birth to make sure the deal went through perfectly. Her service goes past closing as well, with reminders of government and local programs I can use to continue to save money on my investment. I highly recommend Nicole Hellmann and Avo Realty as a whole and would never use any other real estate agent.

Poor communication. This location was listed as the realtor for a home we really loved but there was zero to NO communication. As our closing date neared the promised improvements were not completed. We extended for another 30 days and still no communication or updates were provided to our realtor or lender. There were several things that were discovered that needed attention but still no communication. Left a really bad taste in our mouths. It took them over 7 days to return the earnest money which was upsetting.

Knowledgeable.Friendly.Professional aptly describes the folks at AVO! Omar has to be the most patient and most courteous agent out there! We started our journey for our forever home back in December 2018 so we looked at a lot of houses but Omar was always responsive and ready to help us schedule and view each and every one. We finally made a match in April and he worked with us through the craziness of a VA loan underwriting to signing (June closing)! Whew! We love our new home and we are thankful God led us to Omar and the AVO team. We let our friends know when they are ready to buy, you need to get in touch with this guy (hey, I made a rhyme!
