Wish they opened earlier but worth the wait. Great consistent fresh dishes. Love the green curry and the pad Thai. Got the pad woon sen for first time and it was delicious full of fresh veggies and yummy sauce.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved it!!! I had the pad Thai comparable, and it was absolutely amazing out of this world! My fiancé wish he would ve gotten it (i didn t share that s how good it was) Lmao!! . But potstickers to entrées to desserts; everything was incredible!! It is a must try.!! Wanted some late night food and found this place, didnt know what to expect. And let me just say its a hidden gem! I ordered a to go of pad thai with spicy level 4/5 and it was so good! Perfect amount of spicyness. Good service, good food. However its connected to a bar so you have to show the wannabe security your ID or youll get turned around.

Cheap prices, nice service, located in a pub which allows experiential entertainment and food. The food itself is not the best Thai food Ive had, basic gay like Panda Express of Thai food. I ordered two dishes, the pot sticker dish was good and the noodle dish less so, very basic food.

Good Thai food. Served piping hot. Ordered Pad Thai and banana fritters. Both delicious. At El Buho ordered the Empress drink and it was so good. The one HUGE negative is that your car may get towed. There is a parking lot just across the street from El Buho, and if you, like me, are not a local, you will not notice the sign that informs about towing that sits on a datk corner by the entrance. The sign is pretty wordy and long. There is not a kiosk or a spotlight on it. The sign instructs to text a number. (All this found out after the fact) I wish El Buho warns patrons by a sign or at the entrance about this risk. It was four different cars that got towed there in less than 30 minutes, and to get the car back is $250 and in my case not being the registered owner had to run around bail bonds at midnight searching for a notary that of course is not available Sunday at midnight Not the way I wanted to start my stay i San Antonio. This is a scam. Sumday eve and plenty of parking spaces available and NO KIOSK. Pretty unfair. I went for a meal, that was a darned expensive Pad Thai and gin drink.

Such a great place! The food was amazing, fried avocado, crispy, warm and creamy. The Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) was so good! I highly encourage a drink at El Búho while you wait, try their Fruit Cup cocktail with an extra shot of the mango habanero infused whiskey.

We got into San Antonio late, but good thing this truck was open! Its located inside the El Buho gate area with another food truck. We got chicken pad thai, avocado fries, and pad see ew, and all three were delicious! The avocado fries in particular were really good. It was also cool that the truck was next to the bar bc we got drinks while we waited for our food. Its obviously a going out vibe, but it was still comfortable to sit, eat, and drink outside in one spot. Highly recommend!
