For no reason at all one of the waitresses came and turned off our fan, outside, in Texas 90 degrees outside with no explanation. I asked for ranch instead of ketchup and they didnt bring it. When I asked again I was given attitude then given the ranch almost 15 minutes later. Inflation is crazy I dont have to eat out. Food was good though.

Weve been going here for years for lunch or early dinner. They have a good selection of beers--on tap & beer/cans. We love the burgers & sandwiches. Fries--regular or sweet potato are hot & crispy. Service is consistently attentive. The crispy chicken sandwich with pimento cheese is crunchy & spicy. Its really good, but I have to eat it with a fork & its huge, so I cant finish it--but I give it a good try!

This place is amazing. And so much fun! Fabulous beer selection and our burger and fish n chips were excellent. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked. The burger was large and cooked exactly the way i asked. The fries were just like I like them, just slightly crispy and about 3/8 inch square with the skin on the end. The beer selection was excellent and their taste was very good. Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: We saw several families with children. I think there were child selections.

Arrived at 10:20. Waitresses were already closing the patio. It took 15 minutes to get service and they only checked on us once. It was obvious they were more focused on closing then on trying to serve us. Terrible waitresses. I usuallynlike this place but yesterday really made me dislike the place. So be aware if you go at night, the waitresses obviously dont want to serve you. Bring back the gokd waitresses please.

So, if youre anything approaching a serious beer drinker, you know this place, or of this place, at least casually and probably intimately. On my first visit with two beer guys I had a hard time choosing from sooooo many on-draught beers (like about 100, maybe more, and the list of canned and bottled easily doubled that), I was driven to tears of joy. All were fresh and properly chilled as per the brews traditions and served by one of several fine individuals who seemed to effortlessly tag team our table. Texas microbreweries were/are well represented. The food was quite good. The Wings were not the tiny ones that inflation has brought us, but nicely large with lots of meat to give teeth and taste bud alike a good workout. My French Dip was tender and moist and one Id eat again, served with an actual generous portion of Freedom Fries that were crisp and piping hot. I dont think Ill ever earn a plate, but Ill be back. Please accept this highly recommend.

We sat outside - I hate sitting outside (wind, heat, bugs. just inconvenient); but it was his birthday, so he got to pick - so lame. The beer selection - very impressive. Tried a couple different beers Ive never heard of and they were awful! Just kidding. They were very good. The food was great. I had the German plate. The German potato salad was good fairly accurate. (My adoptive parents are German). I highly recommend this restaurant and well come back again when its not anyones birthday (I dont celebrate my birthday). Maybe well get to sit inside next time.

Amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Was waited on by a mumbling, dark-haired waitress with glasses whose demeanor left much to be desired. She took my order, delivered it, and wasnt seen again for 20-25 minutes. I ordered the steak frites; medium rare steak, and I was told the salad came with balsamic dressing. The plate looked good upon delivery, but when I dove into it, I noticed a rare steak and dry salad. I made several attempts to look for her and but she had just disappeared. I ate the fries and managed to eat some of the slightly cooked ends of the steak. When she finally came back to ask if I wanted another drink, I told her I had to take off but also voiced my concerns about the meal. She looked at me blankly and angrily, as though I had just personally accused her of doing horrible, and said ok pay here and turned her handheld towards me to pay. She made zero attempt to right what was wrong. She never offered to cook the steak a little more or give me any dressing for the salad to go. $22 for dry salad and under cooked meat. I really wanted to like this place since they have a ton of beers on draft, but it was disappointing across the board. I should also note it was practically empty when I walked in and left, but I guess I should have taken that as a bad sign.

The weather was beautiful yesterday so we wanted to enjoy a beverage on a patio and they have a ton of outdoor seating. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. They have an extensive beer menu so we got a couple flights and a couple pints of various IPAs. I had been coming here for years. Always had great food..sufficient portions and great service. My favorite go to was always the German Plate. Today I brought a friend here for lunch. Worst service ever ... Ordered turkey melt plus queso appetizer. We asked for more chips because we werent finished with our Queso. She never did come back with more chips so we just ignored it as now Queso was cold. Our sandwiches arrived which barely had any avocado in it. Portion size of the meals has significantly decreased but prices went up!!!! No German plate on menu anymore. Many other favorites are gone. Food not up to par. Oh yes! Took a spontaneous night road trip to San Antonio for some good grub and brews. I used to visit Flying Saucer Houston when I lived there and San Antonios location has blew me out of the water with how fresh and fried to perfection their wings are. Got them tossed in a mix of Garlic Parm & Buffalo. When I tell you I was soring in flavor land and the juiciness of the chicken wings, Im not even lying. 100/10 would recommend this flavor combo & location for the best wings. Beer was great too but DAMN THEM WINGS. Couldnt even get a before picture because I couldnt stop myself from devouring them.

We always enjoy our visits here and love going with friends. There have been a few missteps in the past, such as when I ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it came out with no arugula only to find out that they didnt have any. Wish they would have told me that when I ordered it.. or came out to ask me if I wanted something else when they realized. Servers sometimes need to be flagged down for refills, checks, etc. But we keep coming back because we like the vibe and the drink selection is great. We appreciate that they have non-alcoholic beers to choose from as well. Overall Id say its a great spot. I usually have a great experience at flying saucer but recently when I visited they have taken almost 30 minutes just to be served and recognized by a server. This time that I had i waited for 15 minutes before a server to say that they would get our waiter . When my party came it took another 15 minutes for another server to come to us and I ve never seen this server before and was very mean to us when asking for IDs. She was an a server on the heavier side with another girl with her. They said that since I was under 21 my party could not drink. Now I want to state that in previous visits this was not an issue. I understand that it is a policy but the server did not state that at all. The server said that and just left. They did not even serve us water. After another 10 minutes, another server came and asked us if we wanted to order drinks and we were still waiting for one more person in our party so they told us they would get water. Another 10 minutes nothing had happened and we didn t get water, so we left to another restaurant. As we left, the same server that was rude gave us a nasty look and immediately started cleaning our table. I ve never had service so bad at flying saucer.

Been here a few times for drinks but never ordered food til yesterday. All I can say is I have been craving their Hot Mama pizza all day! Completely blew my mind of how good everything was. We can not wait to go back.

Manager ask us to take out service emotional support puppy to patio . She said a puppy can not be in emotional support training. Went outside and our puppy started eating old pretzels on the floor which might cause problems to the puppy. I went to tell the manager but for that she would not come out of her office instead she just sends an employee with no apology. We have been coming here for a while and referring friends guess it s not appropriate f you have a support animal. They did sweep it and still left food on the ground.
