Our engagement session was fun and the photos came out great. As a photography studio I would highly recommend. The real experience comes after the shoot. The Limelight studio is where we got a chance to see all of our cleaned up photos on a big screen, relive the experience, and see the prints as they would be on our wall at home. Walking into the studio, I was only expecting to be shown a few photos of our special day and be given a digital device to view and print our wedding photos at later time. However, Limelight and specifically Josh, shared his passion for photography and embraced our photos with love. We were guided through a slide show and gallery to provide us with an opportunity see what we could do with our photos in our home. The hospitality and heartfelt conversation made a difference!! We loved working with the whole Limelight team. Our photographer Angel was incredible at making us comfortable which we never are in front of camera. Made it not awkward at all and we were confident with our poses, smiling, and allowed us to really connect in front of camera. Our photo reveal with Josh was awesome as well. We contracted Limelight to take pictures as well as video services for our wedding and they definitely did not disappoint! They were with us every step of the way from engagement photos, to bridal photos, to our wedding day and they always did amazing work. We are not the most photogenic people, but they made us feel extremely comfortable getting outside of our comfort zone and we had a great time with our sessions. First and foremost thank you limelight for the incredible experience ! We absolutely LOVE our pictures ! It was definitely hard choosing which ones we wanted to put on our walls ! They did a maternity session for us at the Cibolo conservation center. Since we are a little rustic and outdoorsy it was perfect ! Let me just say that our photographer Angel was amazing and captured the best photos that really screamed the excitement we are feeling for our new bundle of joy coming to the world. He was great with our toddler - that was not in the mood that day for pictures and was still able to get some good ones of him and all 3 of us (well us 4 if you include my bump lol)! We met with Josh to review the session and we were blown away on how perfect they came out! Like I said choosing the photos was hard but he made it happen for us. Just whole experience was great ! Our engagement photos guy Angel was funny and kept our spirits up in 100+ deg weather. We were all dripping sweat and the photos still came out amazing. The photographer that day Rob (so funny and nice btw) had such great vision and gave great direction which is perfect for us who cant really pose to begin with lol. I mean, where do I even begin? We had bridal portraits and engagement pics for my daughter yesterday. Alex and Angel showed up and showed off! Literally the best photography experience ever! They were the photographers and videographers at an event i just coordinated. Let me say, they are absolutely amazing. They showed up on time and prepared. They took Beautiful pictures and had great communication throughout the night. They made the bride and groom feel comfortable during photos and times out their pictures for sunset perfectly. Hiring Limelight San Antonio was the best thing that we could have done for our wedding. I worked with Angel and Rob for my bridal pictures. They did such a good job making me feel comfortable and confident during the photoshoot and that really came across in the photos! My husband and I also really loved working with Josh and Marisol on our wedding day. They did an amazing job capturing the most memorable moments of our wedding! We loved having Limelight for our Bridal portraits and wedding photos! We booked the Limelight photography package, and since we lived out of town during the majority of our engagement (moved back to SA right before the wedding), they were very accommodating on substituting certain package items in order to accommodate our needs such as an acrylic photo piece instead of an engagement photo session. The photographers we worked with (Angel and Demetrius for Bridals and Rob on the wedding day) were all really great about communicating with me and my husband, having their own vision and but definitely asking me/us about our ideas and preferences on shots, locations, and backdrops. We bought 2 12x12 and 1 12x18 acrylic pieces with our included package credit as well as the 20x30 acrylic, a 16x20 print, and a stunning Italian-made wedding album were all included. So they re really good about not requiring the customer to spend more beyond the package price for wall decor. Would recommend to everyone and loved the service and quality of the photos and photographers!

I am so glad we chose Limelight. Everyone we spoke with and worked with (Josh, Jose, Angel..) was so nice. Our engagement photos turned out so great and so did my bridal shoot. We ordered acrylics of our engagement and bridal photos and they are hanging up in our living room and bedroom. They bring a whole new positive light to our house. There are no words to describe how happy we are with Josh and his team and the pictures they took of our wedding on April 1st (yes, April Fool s Day ). A little background history, my friend got married a little over a year before we did and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. By this time my partner and I had already found a photographer but something just didn t feel right. Josh was the photographer for my friend s wedding and I just felt an immediate connection. It wasn t just the photos - which were stunning btw - but it was also the fact that he made us laugh, he put all of his heart into making the day special, and he helped us to feel comfortable. I turned to my husband, then fiancé, and said I want him to be the photographer for our wedding. I NEED him to be the photographer at our wedding. And it was the best decision we ever made. He really got to know us both on a personal level to get a better idea of what we had in mind. He helped make sure that our vision of the perfect wedding became a reality. I ll just say this: I am probably the least photogenic person you will ever meet. Somehow in all my years of living, I ve never figured out how to smile naturally. It just looks forced. I mentioned that to him and basically said good luck getting even one good photo of me . Well, somehow he achieved the impossible: he made me look good in photos. He gave me lots of great direction and he made jokes throughout the process so that I would feel less nervous/stressed. He would do a little dance to make us all giggle and when I tell you that made all the difference, you can truly take that to heart. I ve said this once, and I ll say it a thousand more times, NEVER EVER settle for a subpar photographer. We almost did and we are so very thankful that we went with Josh and his team instead. I know you may be worried about cost but you really do get what you pay for. If you re on the fence, I m telling you, take the leap. Like it was with us, it ll be the best decision you ever make. Edit: forgot to mention he supported us throughout all of our crazy ideas! We are super nerds and we incorporated so many mega-nerd things into our wedding: lightsaber hilts for the bouquets, comic books instead of table numbers, llama wedding toppers, croquembouche instead of cake, and even a Slip N Slide exit! He always assured us hey guys it s your wedding, you get to do it however you like. Don t worry about what anyone else thinks. You do you! WORTH.EVERY.PENNY.

I ll preface this by saying that the 2 stars have nothing to do with their photography, cause although we didn t use them, I believe they are talented. The two stars have everything to do with what happened while we were making our decision of which photographer to choose. I ve listed the 3 main reasons below we went with the other guys and the owners snotty response when I told him: 1. On my first call with them, I spoke with Jose. Jose asked me all the right questions but the problem was is that Jose asked me the same questions at least 3x within a 5 min timeframe. It s clear Jose was not present and just asking the questions to go through the motions. 2. On that same call with Jose, he mentioned the owner being Jewish at least 10 times and made Jewish jokes. It s cool. I m Jewish too. But you wouldn t tell a catholic the owner was catholic to try to relate We took a 2nd call with the owner and although there were many moments on that call that I didn t like, there was one in particular #3- I asked the owner how he would handle a difficult situation with a certain family member and his response was I would treat them as I would anyone else and maybe you should use this opportunity to reconnect .. that was when we decided we were done (as we should have been well before that call). It is NOT his business to tell me to reconnect with anyone or to make any comments like that. When I told him we weren t moving forward, his snotty response was: glad you finally got it together ;) Bad experience.. good photography

I want to first acknowledge I dont usually leave reviews but I understand how important your wedding day is. I can say with 100% honesty choosing Limelight San Antonio was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Our wedding was postponed last year twice due to COVID then again because of an emergency surgery I needed. Finally we had our day April 16th 2021. A month before our world crashed we got a call from our original photo/video team and was informed they had to cancel, a month before the wedding!!! 3 postponments, we were finally having our dream wedding but now we wouldnt have a photographer or videographer. I immediately called my venue Granberry Hills and they highly recommend calling Limelight and speaking with Josh or Jose since many couples have used them before. I called in tears and they immediately made us feel like family and took all of the stress and anxiety away. They took hours to get to know us as individuals and as a couple on a personal level. The communication was exceptional, they had less than a month to understand our vision and EXECUTED every bit of it. They were able to give us everything we had in our original package for a better price. The day of the wedding the entire team was wonderful. We were running a bit behind due to unforseen circumstances but the team made sure they captured every important moment for us. Man oh man this has to be the best photography company in San Antonio...change my mind!! We booked them for our daughter s wedding on 1-9-2021 and they have made this the most pleasurable experience ever. Josh, Marisol, Jose and the entire team have been beyond accommodating. From the first time meeting at the Bridal Expo Jan 2020 to signing the contract the same day, to the wedding day they have provided nothing but 5 star service. I would give them 10 stars if I could. From the Bridal Shoot to the Wedding Day they made my daughter feel so special and remained in constant contact with us through the process. The quality of their work is some of the best I ve ever seen. They were calm, cool and collected the entire wedding day. Our entire family was in awe of them as they smoothly moved throughout the wedding and reception. From photos to videos they captured every moment without being intrusive at all... many times we barely noticed they were there. Josh was referred to us by our venue after our other photographer double booked and cancelled on us. I wish I would have talked to him first. Josh is a great guy and Marisol is the sweetest and add the rest of the crew and you have the best photography and videography company in the world. Josh photographed our pandemic wedding for a discount and will be photographing our vow renewal next year. We have beautiful memories from this year with only a few hours of photography and only can imagine what he does next year with a day of unlimited coverage.

Amazing Amazing Amazing! I have nothing bad to say about these folks! From day one and from the very first conversation with Josh we have been very impressed. I am a person who is big on first impression and customer service The way that our first conversation took place was strictly through text and not one time did I feel pressured , the conversation was genuine warm and made me feel as if I was talking to a friend I hadn t spoke to in years just sharing my new journey.Josh, and Jose were my first encounters, I had already had a photographer but because I love the way these two made me feel I have chosen them to do my videography! Limelight San Antonio Photography took my bridal photos as well as all of our wedding photos. My bridal photos turned out beautiful! We met their portrait photographer at our venue The Chandelier of Gruene about a month and a half before our wedding. That gave me time to pick out some bridal photos to print and display at the reception. Our package also included a 16 x 20 portrait. Marisol and Josh were our photographers on the day of our wedding from noon to 10:30pm. They did an excellent job! I often found myself relying on them to tell me what was next on the itinerary rather than our coordinator. They are very professional and are very experienced with taking wedding photos at The Chandelier of Gruene. We were even able to take some sunset photos later during the reception. We received our photos about 8 weeks after our wedding. We have soooo many pictures from our wedding day! Our package also included 1 Wedding Album, 2 Parent Wedding Albums, and $500 credit to use for prints. We enjoyed working with Marisol and Josh and we recommend this photography company to other couples. Thanks Limelight!

Josh and Mari did a great job with our engagement and wedding photos. (My google photo is one of their shots). Josh is goofy, which made doing some of the posed photos a lot easier to take. They captured thousands of candid moments at our wedding and reception. We finally (5 years later....) got a bunch framed and up in our new home. So glad they did these for us. Photographer spent more time flirting with the bartender then taking photos. Didnt get many back, and all were very poor quality. Taken from bad angles and not touched up at all. Some even had red eye. Better off to just use an iPhone and save your money.
