This is a convenient park and playground if you are visiting the Mission heritage site nearby. I appreciate that many of the stone picnic tables are in the shade with grills nearby. There are public restrooms near the playground. I loved the tall pecan trees. They were very beautiful and offered a pleasant breeze in the heat of the day. There are plenty of parking spots in two different areas. There is an observation tower that you can climb made out of stone.

my husband and I take our teenage kids to this park often. We also love the trails they do have wildlife out there like water snakes so be careful of your surroundings, plus they also have couples nights for the grownups on Saturday its very peaceful and also make sure you bring mosquito spray because they will get you lol Playground: Playground and public swimming pool Toilets: Theres several restrooms Dog-friendliness: Yes dog friendly Picnic area: Yes

Went for an early evening walk and found out that not only does Conception Park ha e a pool, it was open. So my wife and I decided to go for a swim. Great pool, people, and a wonderful place to come and enjoy what summer has to offer. Playground: Pet friendly, clean and secure. Toilets: Outstanding !! The restrooms were very clean. Picnic area: The next time we go we will bring the necessary items to grill and chill.

This is a beautiful park next to the Riverwalk and half mile from Mission Concepcion. Plenty of parking Open fields Baseball fields Covered, full basketball court Play areas for kids Exercise areas for adults Clean bathrooms Picnic tables with BBQ grills Beautiful shade trees Public pool - free! Really nice park. Even at night cause the have lights on for a while. Restrooms do get dirty and run out of toilet paper and soap, so its wise to bring your own just in case.

We came here to eat breakfast at the park! It was a beautiful morning. The park was clean (for the exception of the portable restrooms-they should use Cortez Liquid Waste services inc! They provide top notch quality service) I didn t realize it but they have a pool! I know for sure we re going in the summer. I recommend going and taking a stroll. They have a trail around the park or go play basketball with some friends under the canopy! Go out and have a fun time with your family and friends at the park!

Well, I would like to clean the grass on each shore where we walk, it would look more beautiful and more people could come and have a Restaurant something like that or something more different for fun, like how do you put something more different so that more people come from other places like canoes? or something like that. Beautiful area for a walk, job or biking! There is a club (Speed Burro Running) check them out on FB... that meets there every Thursday at 630p all are welcome. They cute little fun group! My friend and I photo bomb them thats how we found out about the group. Anyways this is a very beautiful well kept park. I definitely will go back to do more walks here. Problem is that when its dark there is barely any lighting. So bring a flashlight if your coming in the evening hours.

It was a pretty nice park, the only negative is that the area is a little sketchy, but the park itself was pretty clean (although sadly there was a bit of trash along the riverwalk). There was also a police car in the parking lot and even a bicycle police officer riding up and down the walking trail on the river which made me feel safer. Id definitely go back, my kids loved the playground and the Riverwalk trails.

Nice park located across the San Antonio Mission Trails walkway. Amenities include a seasonal large outdoor pool, kids playground, ball fields, covered basketball court, outdoor exercise equipment, restrooms, some picnic units with bbq pits. Good place to spend time with the family outdoors... one recommendation: add more lamps in the play area and bathrooms... it is too dark and you cant see anything. Remember that it gets dark early and for safety you have to put in more lighting. Do it to empathize with the children. For your safety.
