A good size park, a lot of tables under the sshade. Playgrpumd is insane. I havent seen slides this long in a public park, specially the tube. I prefer Souths de Lions or Greenline over this one. They are more scenic than this.

It was a great experience at this park, plenty of security. We had our family reunion here, and we had a great time. Even though it was 103° degrees this day, it wasnt too bad with the fans going. It was great. There is plenty of parking and lots of shade trees . Playground: They have a nice playground for kids, clean restrooms, and picnic areas. Ive always loved Comanche Park. When my kids were young I used to throw their Birthday Partys there. It has a great playground & lots of trees for shade. I was out there for a carshow so it was super hot but the trees came in handy. Ill always love this park, all the parts of it.

It was a warm sunny day. The park is absolutely beautiful. We had a family reunions and used one of the pavilions. There was a lot of tables. There were fans overhead available as well. The restrooms were very clean and stocked with toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. The barbecue pit was very big and held all the food we had. We also had a little kitchen area which was very spacious. I totally recommend this park for any type of event that you and your family would like to have. Toilets: Super clean and stocked. Dog-friendliness: Lot of room to play with your dog. Picnic area: Lots of tables, trash cans and fans.

Beautiful park and trails, but I wish they had circular routes as well. My main complaints--the farther you go on some trails, there are no restrooms or places to sit to rest. No trash cans on some trails, so we can clean up after our pets. No doggie bag stations either. Other than that, the parks are absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful place to take your dog for a walk. I bring my own doggie bags.

I was out last week exploring the lovely parks this city has improved on so very much and started at what Ill call Pecan Valley Park till the day I die, prolly, on the south side where I grew up. I think its called Lyons something or other. It was a beautiful day and riding through Pecan Valley park was so cool! Any others in the park that I came across were helpful, pleasant and very nice. I was happy to find Pecan Valley was connected to Comanche Park. It looks like a grand place to have a party, very family oriented. I totally recommend for a lovely way to spend the day! Playground: Many playgrounds! Real restrooms! Dogs happily walking their mommies and daddies! Many nice picnic tables with pits for bbqing!

We attended a Halloween/ Birthday party. Kids had a great time on playground. Nice Pavillion with a covered area to serve food. Electricity, Huge BBQ Pit, and restrooms close by. Walking trails or biking trails, with nice wooded area and small creek. Family and pet friendly, handicap accessible.

My husband and I have been attending the SAPD picnic at Comanche Park for about 40 years. Our grandchildren joined us when they were growing up but theyre adults now. The upkeep of the park has always been impressively maintained. Its a family friendly city park.

No place to sit for a picnic due to someone reserving it which is fine, but than they should close it to the public instead of having people walking around and seating down only to be kicked out from one table and another and another. First time going there and last time especily since we couldnt even stay anywhere around in the park we had to go to the park that was a few blocks from this one.
