Excellent service with over 100 different beer selections. The staff here are extremely friendly and attenable. Gave great beer suggestions to our group and changed the TVs with minimal issue. They have a great group at this location.

Recommended by the hotel staff, and I must say, the food was excellent. Coming from the UK, I was amazed by the steak size it was huge and reasonably priced. Cooked exactly to my medium-rare preference, the steak came with Parmesan mashed potatoes and broccoli, all for just $38, which was great considering the portion and quality. I also tried the beef noodle dish, which was incredibly tasty. The service was top-notch, with the staff making sure our drinks were always topped up. Overall, for a good steak and a nice atmosphere, I d definitely recommend this place.

Really lively place. Typical sports bar, lots of families and on the river so expect crowds and noise. If you are in the mood for that type of environment, its perfect. I was on vacation and it was a Saturday with college football on the screens so I thought it was great. The service was a bit short for my preference, , maybe due to the crowd. Its a burger place for the most part but there were no turkey burgers available on the menu which in this day and age is strange to me. I was with two other friends who thought their food was ok. Overall a decent experience though. I would visit again.

One of the worst experiences we had at yard house. Alan H was our server. There was no water served, no silverware provided, orders were not taken promptly, desserts were served before the pizza came out. It was a disaster. The food was ok. The oreo brookie wasnt that food apart from that everything else was pretty decent. Wish we had got a better server.

DON T sit at the bar! We saw people ignored for over 20mins who gave up & left. We did have to wait as well before getting a I ll be right with you . The two bartenders working, literally seem like they don t want to be at work. Especially the curly dark haired dude. For working downtown you would think they expect to be busy AF, so why be rude? After you get your drinks be warned you won t get any attention from these guys. They will walk by w/o acknowledging you. The customers next to me said Millennials these days . I was very shocked to see this at such a nice place, smh. Getting my check was worse, I almost walked out until my wife got the bartender to get it. The glasses are dirty, the bartenders don t practice washing & because we had so much time to watch them, they were making drinks very unsanitary. Food was meh, nothing to write home about.

Great atmosphere. Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. Price for the food was very nice. Make sure you let the staff know that you want a break in between your appetizer and main course because all our stuff came out fast. (Not a bad thing) even though it was packed they did a great job. A recommend the jambalaya with rice. Very flavorful and seasoned well. The alcohol is just right.

We came here for our private wedding dinner and the place is very nice. It is located in the Rivercenter Mall and is on the second floor. The food is delicious and the beer options are impressive. Please note that getting there is tricky as any place in downtown is, but it is worth the effort and experience. Wheelchair accessibility: There s an elevator for better access to the restaurant.

I dined in on 08/24 and checked out at 01:45am I called ahead of time to verify they take Apple Pay. When trying to check out the server informed me their system was new and Apple Pay wasn t working. Offered to type in the card number or cash app someone to pay for our meal. When manager Reid came out and threatened to call the cops and stole our phone case and vape from us and accused us for trying to walk out on the check when we were trying to pay and it was their fault their system was down. Very unprofessional and not a dining experience I would ever recommend or dine in again. Very rude wait staff and food was over salty left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least

We came during happy hour for 1/2 price appetizers & cocktails. Location was clean and service was great Fried calamari and cheese curds came first. They were DELICIOUS! Hot and perfectly crunchy. The hot honey served with the curds was a nice touch! For our meals, we got the Lobster Garlic Noodles and a Margherita Pizza. The noodles were to die for! Thick, chewy, & big thin slices of mushroom. My husband did say he wished there was more lobster though. I was less than impressed with my pizza. The crust was too thin and flavor wasnt amazing My Pineapple Express cocktail was delish but with the crushed pineapple and mint leaves, it was difficult to drink through the straw. Strained with a pineapple slice on the rim would have been preferable IMO All in all, we would come back!

So I was really looking forward to eating here, but unfortunately, I have some pretty bad news.... there was a German roach crawling right next to me with my party of 4. I tried to take a picture, but the little guy kept getting away and it was dark. I have been to many Yard Houses before in Dallas and Houston and never had a bad experience, but this location Im always having something bad happen. The first time I came to this location 2 years back I found a piece of plastic wrap in my side dish. The same plastic wrap you would find on like a frozen meal. I never said anything about that time and chopped it up as whatever and now this happened. And the worst part is that when I went to take a picture, there was popcorn in between the seats along with other accompanying food. Do they even sell popcorn??? Who knows. Anyways, I thought I would share since those small roaches tend to indicate that there will be more not too far from the discovery. The staff seemed fair about the situation, even trying to give me the food for free but I was not about to do that. My party and I left and that was the end of that. I think proper detail cleaning needs to be performed or there is constantly going to be a food source for those roaches. Beware!

The hostess was unwilling or cognitively unable to understand my husbands concern with us being seated next to a table of 10 men using fowl language since we had little kids. We understand that they have the right to talk as they wish. So, before we were seated, we asked to be moved to a different table. The hostess kept saying why or whats wrong with this table? regardless of how we explained the reason for the request. The restaurant was empty except for a few tables. I tried to give the hostess the benefit of the doubt, but she just had a very dismissive, unintelligent demeanor. This was my first time at this restaurant, we went here after a basketball tournament game and we had a party of 20! The host Isaac was AMAZING! He made sure to get our table ready quickly and made sure we were comfortable as well. We had been at this Yard House restaurant a couple times. After walking around in heat outside for awhile, it was quick decision to go to Yard House and cool off inside and get a late lunch. Unfortunately, there were changes to staff and food quality this time. We were seated right away and did not order any alcohol. Waiter was quick with service and we ordered Wisconsin cheese curds (had those in the past). They were undercooked, not crispy and not as brown as should have been. Mentioned it to waiter and offered to take them but we chose to not waste time with it. One vegan choice was ordered and not too bad, other than somewhat soggy fries. However, 2 pepper burger was ordered and undercooked. I asked for medium and it was medium rare. I didnt feel good after getting home; it was cramping and nauseated for couple hours. More than likely will not return to that restaurant or recommend to anybody.

In between I asked how many were still ahead of us on the list, there were 4 groups. I pointed out again that we were sitting right next to them at the bar. Went in on a Saturday night around 7:15PM with a 30 minute wait time. Our appetizer came out quicker than expected, which was the Avocado Toast (comes with a very creamy and rich feta cheese spread). Our meals came out around 8:10PM, which was fine considering there was a large birthday dinner party as well as a packed bar with tables filled with lots of people. It was a great experience, great food and joyful people all around. Some even sang along happy birthday to the woman when her party began to sing for her. I ordered the Kurobuta Pork burger [snake river farms berkshire pork, spicy candied bacon, white american cheese, arugula, house-made blueberry ketchup] with fries & my husband ordered the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak [chopped ribeye, white american, kimchi, gochujang, caramelized onions, green onions, roasted garlic aïoli, toasted hoagie roll with house fries]. On the other hand ( in server defense) there are kiosk on table to order menu items. Lunch hours- I had the Two Pepper Burger on a Gluten free bun, side salad w/ balsamic. The best part unfortunately was the salad. The burger was dry and tasted like a frozen burger from the grocery store. Tasted like overworked commercial beef patty. The food was decent, and staff was nice, but getting pooped on by a bird while eating indoors definitely soured the experience. One bird almost pooped on me while I was eating (photo is of the splatter on the ground). The second bird pooped down my back while sitting at the bar. I had already paid for my food, so the staff couldn t comp my meal to amend the situation. Birds were constantly flying into the bar area of staff wasn t there to constantly shoo them away. It seems pretty unsanitary. The staff seemed pretty fed up with the situation, but said management hasn t done anything to rectify it. This was all indoors, mind you. If you are sitting by the bar or anywhere you see birds perching above, be warned.

Last time I had Yardhouse was in Hawaii, wasnt sure if itd be as good as my previous experience but it was! Food was good. Had the Nashville chicken sandwich, was really tasty. Our waitress was awesome, super friendly. Would definitely come back.

Atmosphere was nice and the food was good but the service can be much better honestly. Especially from one female server in particular that gave me and my girlfriend attitude. All we asked was for some help and if we could pick our view of the seats available.

This place is severely understaffed. The food is undercooked and taste disgusting. Not only did I wait 45 min to sit, but also 40 min to get served just to be disappointed with uncooked food. Never again.

Ordered pickup and got there a few minutes early but 3 different people passed by and said someone else would come help me? Then someone else got me checked out and gave me my food. I ate my food at my hotel; food was a little cold but not terrible. Not even an hour later I was so so sick! I couldn t hold any of it down and was in and out of the bathroom the entire afternoon! Normally I have a really strong stomach but this was terrible, clearly someone is not safely preparing food or washing their hands or something and it s really disappointing :( For context I had the seafood jambalaya and the crispy Brussels sprouts . Terrible waste of $30

We come here weekly and love the food! The service (managers and servers) are awesome! We love both salmon plates, chicken sandwich, pretzel, spinach and cheese dip, ,midnight sangria, miss the beyond burger and wish they brought it back as we rarely eat meat, we dont eat beef and it tasted better than beef so my husband stopped eating beef burgers and the veggie burger doesnt compare. We have tried basically everything on the menu food wise. We love the baja fish tacos, poke nachos, cilantro lime chicken, fontina vodka penne and cheesecake brulee are our favorites. Being disabled with stage 3 crps, spinal stenosis, ruptured discs and in a wheelchair and bedridden, I get out only once a week for an apt and once a week for a date then have to recover due to pain. They always make us feel at home and welcome and many times go out of their way. We will be back soon. Great place that is open late, great prices, food and ambience. Great for dates, out with friends, family or co workers.

I wasnt the biggest fan of their food, was a bit disappointed with both the tuna dish and the whiskey salmon was so so... aside from the food, the service was SPOT ON! DEFINITELY worth going to have drinks and even some of the appetizers. Cooley and Darren were some of the BEST servers I ever had anywhere! Id love to come back and try more menu items. CHEESECAKE IS FIRE!!!

The Yard House is fast becoming a favorite of mine. I am new to the San Antonio area. I found this restaurant online and decided to give it a try. I was totally amazed with the vast menu and beers on tap selections. I have been going down the list of appetizers and entrées for the past month. Everything that I have had the pleasure to try has been exceptional. My advice for you: just pick something from the menu and give it a try. You will not be disappointed! The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also fantastic. If you find yourself in the San Antonio River Walk area, make it a point to visit the Yard House for an exceptional meal. Dont miss it!

Ate here 4 times this week while here for a conference. The chicken fingers werent great. Not bad just kind of disappointing. Not sure if it was the breading or what... Everything else I had three was good though. Service was also pretty good on most visits. They didnt check on us that frequently would be the only complaint.

YARD HOUSE is a great pit stop when at the River Walk Yard House is probably the best pit stop for beer lovers visiting the River Walk. There s no doubt San Antonio has its share of wonderful breweries and watering holes, but if you re visiting the city, most likely you ll spend some time wandering through the River Walk, and Yard House is the perfect place for knocking back a few cold ones. The highlight is the huge assortment of beers on tap. Just having a look at those nozzles will make every beer enthusiast happy. There are all kinds of beers from around Texas, the US, and beyond, but probably, the focus on truly local breweries falls a bit short of expectation. Anyhow, you ll hardly have any trouble finding a beer suitable to your taste and mood. Regarding food, it is pub-oriented, and I would rate it pub-good also, with a marked focus on burgers, sandwiches, and chicken wings. Portions are plenty, grilled food is well-cooked, greens are fresh and crisp, and chicken wings are far from skinny; overall, a tasty experience. Service is not what you would call friendly, but still responsive, agile, and courteous from hostesses to servers. Hard to explain but, though I did not find an actual flaw or complaint, it was hard for me to tip 20%. The downside to the experience (just a way to call it, though no big deal actually) is probably the venue. It felt somehow dispirited, however, probably due to the day and time when visited. Yard House, although next to the Riverwalk, does not have what you would call a scenic view. And the place is a bit tricky to reach from the Riverwalk and from the shopping plaza, so better access through Yard House s main entrance on Commerce St. Wheelchair accessibility: The best way for a wheelchair to get in is through the main entrance on Commerce St... trying to make it to Yard House from the River Walk or the shopping plaza can get tricky...

Yum! The food here was fantastic and fresh and served quickly. Portions are hardy and I ended up taking half my meal home. Drink selections seemed endless, especially when it came to beer. Our server, Joe, was always on top of things and we never had an empty glass. I also like the ability of using the electronic device to order items and pay. They also have a gluten free menu. We will return!

Food was phenomenal!! Please be sure to check your receipts if youre paying with a gift card, or multiple cards as in our case. We handed our waitress two gift cards and asked her to process what was on the cards and use our credit card for the difference. Long story short, both cards were not used and the credit card was charged more as a result. The manager was very kind and understanding and made it right by reversing the transaction and started from the beginning.
