This park is very, very average. Just a few trails around a dry, arid water body. Parking lot is very small and a few cars can park. If you decide just for walk or biking, it might be ok. The road to the overlook is blocked and the map is not correct. Only thing I felt a little watch worthy is an overlook/ bridge that is provides a small glimpse of the water. Although entry is free, this place was just a wastage of time.

Our van got broken into and purses stolen. If you go to this park, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VALUABLES in your vehicle. If you do experience a robbery, call police and do not touch anything till they come and inspect your vehicle. Hope this doesn t happen to you.

Beautiful nature and very nice trails HOWEVER, it was abysmal to see so much trash lying around everywhere. I really wish the visitors in this park would not Trash such a beautiful place up. The picture posted was what I collected from a 5 minute Radius near a trash can on the main trails by the creek.

Great place to start if youre going on the Leon creek trail. This location has several other trails and plenty of parking. There is alot of development in the area so its sure to get busier in the coming months/years. It is well marked and has lots of options depending on how long of a run/walk youre looking for. There is an air station for bikes and a port-o-potty of needed, which was clean. Its centrally location on the trail so this is a good place to start.

Not a bad park. Cleanest one weve been to. If its your first time there study the trail(s) so you dont end of on the other side of the park. Plenty of shade if you stick to the unpaved trails as opposed to the paved which....no shade. But the mosquitos are freaking BRUTAL and look like theyre on steroids. Not joking. We arrived at 330 and by 545 the mosquitos were feasting on me. Next day had a bunch of red welts . Apply mosquito repellent so those freeloading munchers dont nom nom nom on you. If you take your furball have plenty of water for them cuz I didnt see any on the trails. And dont forget to put mushers wax their paws so they dont burn. Happy trails!

The park itself has a small .4 mile loop and you can extend it by going down to the greenway and going right, it will take you back to babcock, just walk over the bridge and it will spit you right back on that small .4 mile loop. During the summer might not be the best as it didnt have the most shade.

Nice park for taking a walk, riding a bike and taking your dog. The only drawback is the small parking lot, 9 spaces that are not reserved. Otherwise, it is nice to see wildlife while walking and get away from the noise.

One of my favorite places to go biking (mtb). Tons of easy, fast, flowy trails to be enjoyed. Great place to practice flat turns. Couple of trails which are great for pumping practice as well. MTBers, be vigilant for walkers, as even during slow hours, there will be people (and pups alike!) enjoying the trails.

Love park and the bicyclists seem to be slowing sometimes, I have only been almost run down 2 times this year.... I do like this park and wish I could see more of it...the bikes need their own bike way all over this town but my opinion this park should be the 1st one to do it... They go to fast and u get walkers and new riders all together theirs going to be an accident... I turned around a few weeks back to feel a newbie bicyclist shutting down her bike before she hit me right at my back legs with her tire, scared her to death... I walk with a cane and this scared me but I cant say I didnt see it comming, I guess I shouldnt walk in their path??? Lets make them their very own path please!!! We all deserve it..we had the money now though...maybe people learned...you dont hire a eye doctor to repair your Ferrari...

All types of trails: paved, dirt, rocky and rustic. You can go for a run, leisurely walk, bike riding, rock climbing, everything you need and want. For the outdoor lovers...the trails constantly change, all you have to do is pick alternate directions! You will never get bored and you can go as far as your imagination. By switching things up you can do a total of 15 miles. They even range from easy, to moderate and challenging! Love this place and yes it is a great place to bring your dogs!

Great trail for biking! The trail is wide and paved throughout. There are also dirt paths that stem off of the main trail; however, I do not think they are official trails. At the Bamberger Trailhead, there are benches, bike repair station, water fountain for humans and pets, doggy bags, and maps. The reason I gave 4 starts was because there wasnt much coverage from the foliage on the trail. There was also not much variety in the vegetation nor stopping points if you are just going for a walk/run.
