Beautiful Small Clean Restaurant. I ordered the Chile Reyeno with not White but Yellow Cheese on Top Plate. Wow it was an Explosion of Deliciousness Ground Beef in Reyeno Amazing, Beans Amazing, Rice Amazing, Green Salsa was deliciously Yum Yums and finally the Tortillas were Flawless mmm Good I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

I usually go here to pick up some tacos before work or sometimes to have a quick breakfast with my parents, the food is usually great. But idk what is up with the old lady she s extremely rude to me. My parents have gone there many times and they never had a problem this last time I went with my parents my dad couldn t believe how nasty the lady looked at me when asking what I wanted to drink, she then proceeded to bring our drinks and just walk off. We liked this place bc they r usually fast, but literally one day to the next the old lady just decided to not like me. We waited for awhile my dad went to the counter to tell the other lady we were ready to order, and the old lady still never came back to check on us or take our order while our coffee was being made. She was being so rude we got up and left. We will never be returning to this place thankfully we found Oblate Cafe and the service there was incredible and the food was even better. Old lady please stop being a hater

I havent been here in ages, no really a very long time. The good thing is it was still as great as I remember. Tortillas are not my magical tortillas (personal favorite- fat and fluffy) but they certainly will do. Service was fantastic. Tried the picadillo, bean and cheese and carne guisada tacos. Yum to all. I prefer brown CG but this red version was tender and tasty. Picadillo was so on point. My mom used tomatoes and potatoes, as did they. Will be back for that alone! This friend tried the homemade corn tortillas and raved. Im gonna have to try that next time! Its a small space with not a lot of tables so be patient. They had loads of pick up orders to go and thats always a good sign to me

Update I wanted to give an update this morning since I am here at least once every week for breakfast and/or lunch. Today I ordered a bean bacon and cheese taco and I also ordered an asada with egg taco. As always they both were served up hot and delicious. This place is a perfect example of a mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant. Its not very big but as they say, good things come in small packages. And their prices are very competitive, if not less than local competition. I took pictures of their current menu since the ones posted were like 4 years old. 2023 I love this place!! Its close to where I work and the food is always good. This morning I had two chorizo and egg and one potato and egg breakfast tacos. All three cost me just a little over $4. You cant beat that! Last week I had the chicken puffy taco plate for lunch and that comes with rice and beans. And Im not talking refried beans Im talking good old-fashioned whole beans. If youre in the area of North Star Mall drop in and give this place a try. You wont be disappointed!

I had the beef fajitas with white cheese, they were very flavorful and tender. I really liked the chorizo egg and cheese with a strip of bacon, I just wish it was served hotter as to melt the cheese a little more. The tortillas are nice and home made that had a structured exterior with a hint of saltiness. I m sure I ll be back.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for years , very much a neighborhood gem. The food is always great and the service is always fast. But most of all the smiling faces that welcome you in is what makes this place great,Lizette is usually at the register and she is the best she always remembers the regulars and is always the early morning smiling face to welcome you. As a person who judges any mexican restaurant by the bean and cheese and the carne guisada let me tell you they stand above the rest. Ive eaten here a few times now and the beef fajitas are my favorite item. In the past Ive also tried the chicken mole enchiladas, cheese enchiladas and a few other items. This place is absolutely delicious. Its affordable, super fast, and their staff has great attention to detail. We order for the company all the time and they always make sure to give us all the little extras we ask for. Their salsa is actually spicy and tortillas are perfect. Ive never eaten inside, but I highly recommend the food. Great job Staff! The will also deliver directly if you call the restaurant. It was nice not to have to pay doordash fees or upcharged food items. Happy it goes directly to the restaurant.

This establishment states that they close at 2pm, however, at precisely 1:14 pm, I attempted to place a to go order for 3 tacos..... ATTEMPTED. The woman over the phone denied my order and told me: We already stop serving food. I live in the neighborhood across the street and was really looking forward to making this new restaurant my regular spot, however, Ill take my business else where. There should have absolutely no reason why someone is denied service 45 minutes prior to an official closing time.

1st time coming here this morning and although my order was very small. Like a bean & cheese taco for my 4 year old son, cola and a chocolate cake w/ 3 pecans and a strawberry filling for $3. The cashier was very great to let me know she recently took it out of the refrigerator and I just took a bite and it was delicious. My son wanted some M&Ms and the machine did not disburse them so I ask her the same cashier is the candy dispenser broke ;because it did not distribute any candy? The customer service here is great, but we were disappointed in the food. The special that day was the puffy tacos. The tortilla was soggy so the taco fell apart and the meat was plain, like no flavor at all. The beans and rice were good though.
