I am forever grateful that I hired Ms. Denise Martinez and her Law Office to represent me on my child custody case. She is very professional and unlike other attorneys, she really cares about children and fighting for what is right and fair. Despite my anxiety about the final outcome, I was very patient and completely trusted her and her MANY years of experience. Because of Neftali Rodriguez and the entire Denise Martinez PLLC firm, (for the first time in two years), I will get to spend my birthday and Easter with my two angels. Divorce is tough, (especially if you are dealing with a vindictive or unreasonable ex), but this guy will fight for you like hes fighting for his life. I couldnt recommend Neftali Rodriguez with any higher adoration.

Poor customer service. I worked at a PI office for 8 years all my years i transfered all my family law to Ms Martinez, her staff is so rude. I would have to get the updates from my referrals because they just wpuld not get any updates. I finally needed her today and her staff was called twice. Second time whoever answered said they are way too busy and that they need to take a lunch as well. That they all had to eat. Well i know that. Martinez called me back and never let me speak. What a professional specially when i referred lots of people.

I walked in for a little modification and I think they thought this is going to be easy. 2 long years later I sat in the courtroom with Nef as an active father who was trying his hardest to make sure my children who I ve been there since day 1 babies had a stable home to help them succeed In their education. Nef helped me try to do the impossible in the state or Texas. And he helped me make the impossible possible and now I received primary for my children. He is still here for me for advice as I move forward and try to continue to coparent to do the best for my children and the office will always be a part of our family s lives we can t thank you enough. If there is any active fathers out there that have had someone tell them no and make them feel like they will never succeed don t give up there is people out there like Nef and Denise who will be there to help you fight for your babies too.

My divorce/ custody case was very complicated. Im a male who sought custody of my daughter and, being unfamiliar with how courts work, I felt I had a lot of biases going against me. Denise and Neftali (Rodriguez) both raised my confidence by giving me proper guidance in regards to how to handle the drama that took place during the year (delayed mostly due to COVID) it took to finally get a court date. Again, my case was very complicated with an ex-spouse who caused problems whenever and however she could. Once the court date finally came, Denise and Neftali both represented me and balanced the workload. Not sure if thats normal but my case was (once again, special). They both made time to ensure I was well prepared before going into trial which helped lower my anxiety. They didnt mislead me or give me false promises or hope either. Now, I did have to do some studying and research on my own to answer some of my questions and concerns which I initially didnt like.... but I honestly feel that helped me more in the long run due to the additional information I was able to come across which lead me to take steps to further benefit my case and my own education as a parent. Bottom line: I didnt get everything I was seeking when it pertains to financial issues but the main thing I wanted, I got. I feel both Denise and Neftali fought tooth and nail for me and my child and it definitely showed in court. They seemed more than prepared and very logical and sound in their approach. I highly recommend them. Especially for dads looking to seek custody who have anxiety about the biases that they feel exist out there, which was MAIN concern I had.

Custody cases are surely very stressful and emotionally taxing. If you want a lawyer that just goes through the motions and does not fight for you she s the lawyer you absolutely want ! Her assistant Lino is zero help and his work ethic is even lower than that. I had to replace Mrs Martinez during my legal battle because I was having to do the work her and her assistant are being paid to do. I hope if you are thinking of having Mrs Martinez represent you think twice about it especially if you don t like throwing thousands of dollars away !!!

I higly recommend Denise!!! Shes fair, prompt, honest and will look out for your well being. Shes affordable and does not hide fees. She finalized my 3 yrs child custody issues in a year! In addition, Lino (paralegal) also helped me with the process. I appreciate their patience and understanding. I wasnt the most knowledgeable and patient person but with their guidance, help, and wisdom...I was able to go through the whole process til the end. The one thing we were adamant about having in our child relationship case we won. It means everything to me to have these rights and visitation as a step mother. Our case was a year long battle with the numerous delays from the opposing party. During this time Mr. Rodriguez sought out temp terms for visitation. When our case was not going anywhere at one point, he pushed for immediate action. Which has lead us here to a final agreement. Good news going into the New Year.

Denise was phenomenal in working our child custody case. I appreciated her open, honest feedback as she guided us through the process, proceedings, and paperwork. We were never caught off guard and very prepared every time we had to go to court. Often times I was frustrated with the courts and shenanigans my ex-wife was pulling, Denise would calmly advise us to take the higher road and try to work with my ex-wife every step of the way. When that wouldn t work, patiently Denise would recommend the next step until both parties could come to an agreement; urging me to work with my ex since it was in the best interest of the long term relationship for our children. Again, I was so impressed with Denise, I walked out with a handful of cards, handing them out, praising the effort and support we received from Denise and her Law Office.

I do not leave many reviews, but am compelled to do so here and now because of a negative review left by another. You might guess at the relation. My version of the facts are these: Denise Martinez has represented me for 2+ years. She represented me in a very difficult divorce, and continues to represent me as I work through the legal system to deal with harassment, threats against me, my family and my co-workers, child support matters, and various other divorce-related fallout. Through it all, Denise has given me good advice, been a voice of reason, and advocated for what is best for my child both in the short and long-term. She has fought for me, but has also guided me away from reactionary responses. I should note that Im also an attorney, and cannot help but approach being another attorneys client with a critical assessment of how they run their practice, how they are regarded by the judges and other attorneys at the courthouse, and how they treat their other clients. Denise is exceptional in all regards. She cares deeply about her work and achieving the best possible outcome for all parties from intensely difficult situations. She is compassionate, but unwavering in her values of truthfulness, fair dealing, problem-solving, and, if children are involved, keeping their dignity, safety, and well-being as the priority in her advocacy. For this she has earned the respect of her colleagues, opposing counsel (and shes encountered an alarmingly high number of them while working on my particular case), the judges, and obviously, of me as her client. I would not wish a divorce on anyone, but I am grateful that Denise was and is my attorney through this very unpleasant situation, and I do not hesitate to refer others to her.

First and Foremost I need to say that Denise is fair. She is upfront and honest with you. She doesnt give you fake promises and works with you concerning cost. I write this review years later after my divorce and at the time of my divorce I was scared and in shock, I grew impatient with Denise and discontinued her services and moved on to another attorney to not only be met with an attorney that was a MONEY DIGGER but also a STRAIGHT UP LIAR. I saw the difference in the way Denise practiced family law and how the other attorney practiced family law. I regretted not staying with Denise. After the divorce I had learned from the Ex husband and his documents from his attorney that my new attorney had been charging me and over charging me for her negligence and right out refusal to communicate my terms with my Ex husbands attorney. I also personally witnessed other attorneys in the court room insult my new attorney for not communicating terms on another case and turning off her fax machine and not being available for court appearances. Denise was nothing like that. You can tell she truly loves law. She is an outstanding attorney and is genuine in her concern. I should have stayed with Denise.......
