Please avoid at all costs! I second any of the negative reviews left on here. They are a true and accurate account of the experience with Diane. Not only is she incredibly biased, basing recommendations on her own personal experiences with her former spouse, but she lacks transparency in her billing practices and does not serve the best interest of the children of the suit, even with evidence provided to her. The children are asked brief, superficial questions and spend more time with her assistant Chris getting treats from the treasure box. It took multiple attempts to get just one detailed invoice and it contained false meetings. Had I not requested the statement, I would have never known I had a credit, as no attempt to notify me was made (very persistent with requesting payments, though). I have yet to receive a final detailed invoice, despite multiple requests. Do your family and children a favor and request someone that is more vested in the outcome, as well as more honest and thorough. The amicus you select for your children can be a life-changing decision!!! Dont take it lightly.

I used Mz Diana Martinez afew years back !! She helped me get my visition strat with my x who likes keeps my daughter from me so she can have her happy life but still want child support every week but doesn t take my daughter to visitation meet up !! So this go around I will listen to Mz Martinez on how to handle my x !! I ll be calling her Monday

Diane was the Amicus in my case. She was extremely professional as well as her assistant Tiffany. One of the better attorneys Ive run into lately. Her fees are a fare and currently documented. I Highly recommend Diane and her team.

From my personal experience with her serving as Amicus for my sons, Ms. Martinez will tell you one thing, what you want to hear, for months leading up to trial, and then completely change course in the courtroom. She will offer nice platitudes when you re walking out of the courtroom, when they no longer mean anything.

As seen below in other reviews please DO NOT GET THIS ATTORNEY her and her whole legal team are beyond unprofessional. They DO NOT care about the safety of any child and are only concerned about simply getting paid. Diane will not defend you, she will not help in any way possible. Whatever she is given she will take it and tell you there s nothing she can do. They will lie and make things up that you never said. Save your money and go with someone who will defend your child in their best interest.

As a 13 year old Diann was my dad s friend she saw me with my mom 1 time. She saw me with my dad 8 times I had to move with my dad and he started SA me, this lady helped my dad mess up my life. In school they tell us how to think critically well looking at these reviews RUN they are telling the truth she takes the family for a ride split me and my sister apart and acts like it is ok. Now that my mom is trying to tell the court about the SA they are ant me to trust her again. Eww

Second all these reviews. She s not in for the children s best interest and will say false claims about the case as if she was actually doing her job. My kids are living in a shack that she never went to check living conditions and she based her decision off of only seeing the kids twice with the most recent one being almost a year ago. Please do not waste your time or money

Diana was an appointed amicus for my son. If appointed request another amicus! Her best interest is not in your children but her pockets. She does no investigation, she sided with the parent who puts more money in her pocket.

STAY AWAY!!! If you can choose to do not use this attorney for your amicus attorney. She will take any money from you she can. She has no real concern about the children, instead makes decisions based on her own personal experiences. She will not give you any bill statements to break down whats being billed. We were charged for her not showing up to court and having to follow up with what happened with the mediator. She spent no time with the kids and does not care about the real needs of the children. We have filed a grievance against this attorney and recommend everyone who had issues to do the same.

We were forced to use this woman as an amicus attorney. Not only does she nickel and dime you ($75 for every email she reads), she has no sense of urgency of any kind. A judge wanted her input by December 3, 2021. She charged us for going to court to tell the judge she wasnt ready. Amid countless suicidal outcries by my youngest son, and even evidence of abuse, at some point along the way she decided she just didnt prefer me. So, she didnt act for the kids. She said I laughed when my daughter said something in front of her, and that I didnt discipline her appropriately. Im not going to shame my daughter in public in front of a relative stranger. Im sure I nervously laughed, and tried to move on. She also directly ignored our psychiatrists recommendations and misquoted him intentionally to suit her views. He was so angry when I had to clarify what he had told her, because hed never mentioned anything like what she alleged he said. He stated this is why I hate working with lawyers. She did absolutely nothing for us, and my ex and I ended up uniting against her absolute uselessness, and settling out of court. Now she wants nearly $3000 for reading emails and signing a document. She is why there are so many jokes about crooked lawyers. Her interest is in her pocket book.

Diane was extremely precise, knowledgeable, and professional in helping me get full custody of my daughter. She was extremely patient and everything was done in a timely manner and I didn t have to call I billion times to get a hold of her. Thank you

Wont want to hire not in best interest of child being an Amicus she was supposed to be for my grandsons best interests and failed him. Diane said my daughter was just pregnant and over reacting. Now hes 11yrs old and thinks of committing suicide all the time. LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP BEFORE ITS TO LATE.

My husband and I cant say enough about Diane. She is a fierce no nonsense attorney! Dads if you want your equal rights to your children, she is your attorney. My husband hired Diane at my recommendation and now, finally, he has what the law says he should have. He is afforded the exact right and duties along with the expanded schedule and some other criteria he requested. She has been a blessing and we would hire her again and again regarding this matter. Any time we had a question, day or night ... week day or weekend, she responded. Diane is my attorney for life, if needed.

I do not recommend her. She was the Amicus in my childrens custody case. I shared with her my concerns, including a history of domestic violence at their Mothers house. I also shared my concern about their untreated Autism. 6 months after she handed custody to the mother, she ended up in jail overnight for assault and bodily injury against her spouse. The children, whom she was hired to defend, are not doing well, including multiple suspensions at school, 45 tardies at school, and 15 absences. Worse yet. there was documented instances of coaching by the mother against my relationship with the kids. One such document was even a report by a psychologist that was court ordered and addressed to her. Again, she did nothing. Now the kids suffer. I am out of money and can no longer fight to give them a chance for a good life. Seek elsewhere. Be aware that she will NOT read any document and research as she was paid to do so.
