This place is a joke. There is no justice with this facility. I had to call and leave 5 or more messages to my advocate for months and still he never called back. I finally tracked him down only for him to tell me there s not enough evidence because the other entity hasn t responded to him to provide documentation. How is there no evidence because of that? The advocate then said the Prosecutor stated even though she didn t want the relationship after the assault it looks bad on her . Now they are contacting me again and driving past my house frequently. This is Texas, where women are to blame for everything men do to them.

Not getting accurate help and information on my case. The advocates don t seem to know much. There has to be a supervisor in office I can speak too with more knowledge

I called to ask for help because the mother of my son is denying my visitation rights. They told me to hire and attorney and take her to court. Then I said that I cant afford an attorney and they said to call the Texas Bar Association which I know they dont because I tried them before. Gosh, they need to remove the word JUSTICE from them name

After declining the protections order it was still filed and not even signed by a judge my husband is now sitting in prison for 10 yrs.. either bexar county or Kendall county has messed up I m not able to get compliance from no one.? I have the supposedly protection order that was filed unsigned by a judge. I am about to take this this to an attorney news and let them what wrong y all did law suit will be filed

I appreciate what these people are trying to do but I m so upset with how they go about dealing with the people who need help. I spent 6 mounts with two try s to get a PO against my harasser. The first try I was told that I didn t have enough evidence (very rudely and cruel) by the office manager after waiting 3 months with no response. The second time I had video evidence of the person watching me sleep and was finally expected. Even after being accepted I ve been treated rudely by the state attorney handling my case and have not been followed up with on anything. I wasn t even told my first court appearance was rescheduled causing me to take work off and go up to court just to find out I didn t need to. I asked someone to file a claim with the victims compensation and feel like they probably didn t even do it considering I ve never got a letter with a claim number. Thanks guys for making this process that s already stressful. 10x more stressful Edit: I have still not received any info on my protective order or on anything else I filed can no one do there job here?

We all know these are fake reviews. You all laugh at our pain and our childrens pain. The minute we ask how you would feel if it was your kid, they run and grab the good for nothing mall cop working there. Stop wasting your time trying to get help here. They are useless. In the time I was sitting there waiting to be called so many women left upset!! This whole system is designed to bring more money to the family court system! They basically said that i have yo put my daughter in danger and wait for her to be hit again .. they are a joke. This whole system is a joke. Not voting for tbis man anymore. Family code needs to change!!! It protects abusive parents!

I ve spent upwards of 3 months chasing my own advocate around and trying to get in contact with her so the other party could actually be served. The only person I ve ever been able to talk to is the desk lady. When I decided to save myself the sanity and ensure my own safety by obtaining a private attorney, I received a snarky You know they re going to charge you over $1000, right? Well, lucky for me I was able to save for it during those 3 months my advocate wouldn t get back to me. Try the other protective order facility if at all possible.

I got to say that I had a really good experience coming up here. Every person I talked to was kind and helpful. They answered all my questions, they helped me to get what I needed it, in no time. Im very satisfied and thankful with their service.

No wonder people cant get out of abusive situations. Everywhere you go is the wrong place. Try to get a copy of your protective order...after paying $20 to park because the garage was full, going to 4 different places to be told youre in the wrong place, and ending up back in the first spot, talking to the SAME lady to get a copy. Thankfully the person needing this order has family support to help her. No one should be treated like this, but especially not abuse victims.

Family Joke Center. Very unhelpful. During interview I was asked no questions .The interviewer had me sit in her office for all of 10 minutes. And 5 of those minutes she was working on her computer on something else. Think her name was Bea.

Wait period is crazy long. And why have a basket in the tiny waiting area labeled snacks but then be empty? Get rid of label or add snacks. Reason being there was difficult but counselors were nice.

Its disorganized and ran by people that are pretty judgmental. The parking, of course, is confusing and they told me to park in the garage, but they never said which garage or where. I downloaded all this stuff online and filled it out just to find out I dont have to fill it out. I also went to get a protective order and after waiting a little over 2 weeks I was told that I wont get it. The system is rigged.

We were looking for the place where you put protect order on this guy who is harassing a girl I know. No one in court house or Justice center know where we need to go . Girl on phones at lawyers finds where we need to go. Maybe she needs to work for court house or Justice center.
