It was such a great pleasure to work with Art Menchaca, he was a great support to all of us. Thank you Art for your outstanding customer service, employees like you make their employers look fabulous. I also want to congratulate the Red Berry for the new event coordinator, Liliana is passionate and was ready to be a great team player, I was very please having her in charge of our clients event; ( Jackleen and Jacob on October 21, 2023,) another five stars goes for Marcos the Captain he was an outstanding employee as well. Well what else can I say? only, what a great place to have your celebrations it is beautiful and have amazing employees. Thank you again Art you are awesome.

We had our wedding and wedding reception at this beautiful venue in October 2022. We had toured quite a few venues prior to visiting the Red Berry Estate, but once we arrived, it was like transcending into another universe. The grounds are beautiful, the views are spectacular, and the planning staff as well as the waitstaff are remarkable. The beauty of this venue is that everything is at your fingertips, you dont have to venture to find a caterer or a rental company as it is all onsite. And in the life of a busy person this was one of the best perks. We had several meetings, walk throughs, and tastings prior to our wedding and they were always productive. The planning staff was very forthcoming with pricing, etc. I would say the one caveat we personally had was on our actual wedding day. It was SO incredibly windy that we had to cancel our grand finale firework show, and initially there was a hard line in the sand about not being refunded the money, so after several phone calls which escalated to management, we did get all of that taken care of, and I think they have since created a new policy for firework cancellation due to natural forces. Id say all in all thats pretty successful if that was the only caveat. Thank you to Stephanie, Shelley, and Michelle for their patience, their knowledge, and their expertise. It was just such a beautiful day.

WOW! What an amazing new venue for San Antonio. Took a drive-by looks like theyll be open soon! Update: this is one of those venues that you truly must see to believe. It is hands-down the very best that San Antonio has to offer for private events! The designs, decor, landscaping, attention to detail, exceptional catering service.... Its all that and more. No matter what I write here in a review, it simply wont do it justice. The Mansion is steeped in fascinating history. If you are planning a private gathering The Red Berry Estate should definitely be on your list. If you are invited to an event there...GO! If you are like me you will wonder the property trying to think of events that you could potentially host here LOL

Great for a corporate event. The mansion was stylish and accommodating. If I have to add a critique, it is that the lower gambling floor of the mansion gets hot when you have a large crowd. Overall they had a great staff and it was very luxurious.

After a fresh engagement I booked a tour looking for a wedding venue at The Red Berry Estate. It was such an exciting time period for me. The venue was absolutely beautiful, unfortunately the host (Stephanie) assigned to help us was one of the rudest people I ve ever met. After dealing with her nasty dismissive attitude there was nothing more I needed to see. I would never spend such a special moment for my future husband and I dealing with someone who treated us that way. Please advise Stephanie to be nicer to future brides.

Amazing venue to visit. Went for a nieces wedding. Grounds are well kept up and the facility/venue is a city gem in my books! Staff is super friendly and attentive. Security was informative on questions I had about the place and told me about some of the history behind this place. Thank you!

Friend hosted an event here and it was flawless. Amazing staff, wonderful campus, and beautiful views of (and from!) the lake! Boat trip onto the lake was amazing! Very hot out so our boat driver even asked us if we wanted to drive in the path of the water spray and we did!

I m a wedding and portrait photographer and I have to say that The Red Berry Estate is my absolute favorite venue. It is sprawling and boasts insane amounts of room and character. There is something for everyone - truly. Large bridal suite and groom suite. Sitting areas, libraries, event halls, full service kitchen, lawns, pond with water features, boats for use during the event, a full casino floor and every corner is stunning and filled with story. If you are having an event in Texas I can t recommend this insanely beautiful space enough!

I attended a charity event here on Saturday Sept 25th. Absolutely gorgeous property! The casino company they had was the most professional I have ever encountered. Amazing dealers and tables. Every detail was top notch. I would highly recommend.

Wow, this place is spectacular. Im an choreographer and have work in several event spaces but this one is special. The renovation is top notch. The interiors are impeccably decorated and the grounds are meticulously maintained. It harkens back to the time of prohibition and the classic speakeasy of the 1920. If you are looking for a special place for your wedding or having an event you want your guest to remember, this is the venue.

Luxe wedding and event venue, for sure! The Red Berry estate is a unique fixture for San Antonio. They offer a lakefront views, gorgeous bride and groom suites, two different size ballrooms, for both intimate and large gatherings, and every couple s grand entrance/exit goals.

This venue is spectacular, but the RK Group has a lot of room for improvement. We did a walkthrough and received a contract for our wedding. I clarified in writing how long we had to secure our date and was told 7 days. A few days in, we were in the middle of negotiating the terms and were told our date was given to someone else. I m not sure if they re just disorganized or have bad business practices in general, but I m so glad I got to see this side before being locked into a contract. If this is how we re treated this early on, who knows what they d do later. I think we truly dodged a bullet with this one, although it s a shame since the venue is so nice.

I wanted to post our experience dealing with the RK Group that manages this venue and bookings. Knowing this venue is new, I wanted to warn future interested parties that we were told a number of contradictory statements while securing a date for our wedding. After clear communication regarding our timeline, they went back on their word and gave the venue to another party. IMO, truly unethical business practices especially when negotiations were ongoing. I hope they don t continue this type of behavior, but I felt it was important to let other people know. Be warned.
