I came across this place by chance and I m glad that I did. The cocktails are AMAZING, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is very warm and inviting. We met the owner, Olga and she was so pleasant and attentive. I will definitely be going back!

The Rose has quickly become one of my favorite bars. The Rose has a great vibe, ambience, great drinks and excellent service. My husband and I have been a few times, each visit has been consistent with a warm welcome and fantastic service, typically we sit at the bar and oversee the bartenders work their craft, if you re lucky perhaps you ll have the opportunity to try one of Cruz s concoctions you will not be disappointed. However last night we sat in the lobby area and had the good fortune to be waited on by Harold, Harold was very attentive considering the bar had a pretty decent crowd. I was amazed at how great Harold was keeping up with a full house taking orders and had a cool collected demeanor about him. I can t recommend the Rose enough the drinks and service never disappoints!

We went to see the Journey/Def Leppard/Steve Miller Band concert. Afterwards we were looking for a place for a quick bite and drinks. The bar was packed and they just had a private party upstairs plus were short staffed. We thought the service would be very slow but Josh the manager was swamped but waited on us immediately and had our food and drinks very quickly. Great service and really appreciated his effort. Not a common experience nowadays. Thanks for the great service!! There are still those that appreciate it!!

Popped in last week after dinner. Great chill spot to relax with some couches and comfy chairs, high top tables and a nice bar. They also have a broad liquor selection. I even got to meet and chat with Olga, one of the owners. If I were a local to SATX, The Rose would be in my regular rotation.

After supper, we were looking for music and drinks. We were staying at the Hilton next door, so this was an obvious choice. Amazing music, great drinks, great staff. My wife had to drag me out of there, it was wonderful.

This is a really cute place w bar, tables and lounge areas. Staff was super friendly and gave good service. The flat bread w prosciutto and sliced fresh figs was amazing! Will definitely order that again. I m a beer drinker but I tasted my friend s mango/pineapple drink and it was delicious and refreshing. Will definitely hit this spot again.

Fantastic place, cozy atmosphere. Tesla charging at the parking lot across the street. The goat cheese dip was awesome (others have posted a photo), and we also loved the caprese panini. I only had one milk punch because I was driving then he made me fresh squeezed orange juice - wow. Vegetarian options: The goat cheese dip with both sundried tomato and basil pesto was amazing. We got the caprese panini with prosciutto but you can get it without. Parking: Parking is expensive in downtown but it s easy walking distance from attractions and next door to a Hyatt.

My husband and I were in town for the 4th of July weekend and saw this place. He wanted to try it since it was walking distance from our room. Im really glad we went, we really enjoyed this place. It had a great atmosphere, great service, friendly, very welcoming. Our bartender, Ximena, was the best! She was the sweetest and the drinks she mixed for us, I mean, just pure perfection. Her watermelon lemon drop martini, omg, simply the best Ive ever had. My husband loved his old fashions. Also tried the flatbread pizza, and it was delicious. Top of our list to visit again next time we are in San Antonio.

After hearing excellent reviews about The Rose I stopped by yesterday with family and friends and had an absolutely wonderful time. The multitude of different and very creative drinks were the best I ve experienced in any upscale bar in San Antonio. And, the bar bites were no different - unique, very creative (ownership s own creations) and mouth-watering great. Top all that off with above the charts service and you have a welcomed addition to the downtown San Antonio bar and eatery scene. An easy place to visit - sort of like your home bar, also architecturally interesting (terrific bar and back bar, original stone walls, very tall ceilings with plenty of wood floors and wall accents), and very enjoyable nightly entertainment (last night a terrific three piece jazz ensemble). I ll be back for sure.

The staff received me with a welcoming smile. I immediately sat at the bar, and the bartender quickly brought water and the menu for me to look at. The food selection is limited but very tasty, especially the three meats panini. I spent my 4th of July evening enjoying Chris Guerreros jazz performance. Its a cool place to unwind with live music almost every weekend. Paid parking is available nearby.

This was such an unexpected gem to find downtown! It was the best place to finish our night out after a show at the Majestic. Just around the corner from the theater, this place was delightful from start to finish. It feels classy and upscale while being extremely welcoming! After being greeted and finding a table for our group of 7 we were served quickly and every person working there was super friendly. I ordered a Black Manhattan and WOW it was the best one Ive ever had. My friend ordered a PB Crunch drink, and it tasted *exactly* like a butterfinger lol. If you love a dessert drink then you really need to come check it out! Incredible! Okay but now for the FOOD. Yes, this awesome place also serves delicious food! First we had the Adult Grilled Cheese - absolute banger, highly recommend. Then we did the Goat Cheese Terrine and Whipped Feta Dip - everybody loved it all and there wasnt any left. Harold was amazing and took great care of us the whole time, and I am just so happy that this place exists. Its the perfect bar to add to what we need downtown. There was some great live music and jazz the night we were there. The vibes are spot on. Its just a really great place to have a fun time. I hope places like this continue to thrive in our wonderful city!

The Rose is the perfect spot for a night out. We stopped in for after dinner drinks and were so impressed with the service, the quality of the cocktails, and the atmosphere. The Rose is upscale without taking itself too seriously, has a great crowd, and fantastic live music. Nick Brown and the Blues Cruise were amazing! They had people out of their seats and dancing! While visiting we kept walking by this place and finally stopped in. Shouts out to Cruz who customized an Old Fashion for me. He is sooo full of knowledge and spent time sharing info while my friends and I sat at the bar. Erin is soooo sweet. We came in early before the entertainment.... but I can expect it will be great. Fabulous new bar in San Antonio. Great setting and service. Even better - this bar is for EVERYONE, including your friends who dont drink alcohol. The Rose picked up one of the top mixologists in SA - so you need to check this place out. Although my husband and I drink alcohol because he was driving and we were going out to dinner later (and knew we would be drinking wine) we opted to see what they could put together zero proof. Three zero proof drinks - just told the bartender what we typically liked - and they were all the BEST we have ever had. The friends who were drinking standard cocktails equally impressed. This is a huge addition to the downtown San Antonio bar scene. They have a small food menu - which is great. I personally always want the option of something to eat when I am drinking. Highly recommend The Rose!!

Went with friends to check out Brain Mills for the first time and omg he was amazing!! Paired with the Roses sexy lighting and perfectly mixed cocktails I will definitely be back as this location is definitely in the heart of San Antono Texas and I wholeheartedly recommend a visit! The Rose is my new go-to bar! I ordered their Señora Sandia and it was fresh and light, perfect for summer. The burrata platter was even better! A friend and I had just gone to the Majestic and were waiting for the car lines to go down. So glad we came in! There was live music, (it was Friday) and just a fun vibe!
