Ive been here before, and while the food was amazing I wasnt real impressed with the bartending. But they seem like they have really stepped it up! They have a new drink menu and bartenders who are infusing some of the alcohols to come up with some unique taste sensations. The atmosphere has always been great, so the one area where they were lacking has been filled. Highly recommend!

Four stars because parking is meager and tight, the traffic getting in and out of the parking lot is challenging. The establishment itself is nice, typical dimly lit atmosphere with a few TVs. I noticed a dart board, no one was playing at the time and it looked a bit dusty. We were there for a celebration and the place was happy to join tables together for us. Drinks and food were served well.

Ex girlfriend took me here. Nice neighborhood; right around the corner from her other boyfriends house that she was cheating on me with. Decent parking! Ambiance is great and the whiskey options are massive. Had the brussel sprouts and fried pickles, which were delicious. There were lots of options for card and dice games too, which was a pleasant surprise. Waitress was very friendly. Treated us like regulars! 10/10 would absolutely come again to repeatedly beat my ex at connect four.

I love this place my husband and I go at least once a week on slow nights for drinks apps and games. Service and food is always good. Last time we went I noticed we were the only people carded which was odd because we were also the only AA people. But I didn t take it too serious considering my husband and I both look young. Wow!!!! 1st time here tonight (Friday) We had an absolute great time! The whole staff is so attentive. We went from sitting at a table, to moving to the bar, and was super surprised we did not have to close out to sit there. Im not sure who he was, but either way the whole staff was amazing!!! Weve been to 90 proof several times, but being here for the 1st time was absolutely Great! The only thing I recommend is to PLEASE show off your amazing staff on social media, not just your promotions, cause without them you wouldnt have an amazing establishment. Go to this bar regularly. I always had good service .. today had wonderful service except when I just needed to pay off tab . So I asked Jordan who stated she was not a bartender and that bar service was only at the bar top and she was very rude and dismissive. We asked her cause we had been receiving service at our table all night. If you dont like your job, find another but no reason to treat patrons this way

Very dark inside. Was told by waitress that we would have to leave by 7pm because my son was wearing a tank top (Texas July heat). Apparently, you must wear sleeves after 7pm. *Update to the owner: thank you for your response and I appreciate you taking the time to review our concerns and we appreciate the gift card. We did come back and our friends ordered to go as well; we were all pleased with our take out order. It s a hit or miss here; we love the location and variety of food but it s not consistent in food quality. Some orders are cooked well and some days everything is burnt (picture attached) and/or not cooked thoroughly. It can get pretty crowded and busy but on the days they aren t, the service is somewhat slow and some of the employees don t acknowledge you when you arrive for an order pick up.

We walked in 6PM and sat down at a table. We saw the bartender look right at us, and even point, but she never came to serve us. We eventually moved to the bar, and then waited several minutes for them to even ask for our drink. We asked the bartender if we could order food, to which she replied give me a minute. She then served drinks to others for about 5-10 more minutes and never came back to us. After that she began to count all her tips and close out like she s leaving work. Me and my brother both finished our drinks and neither bartender asked if we wanted another despite looking multiple times at us and our empty drinks. We were there about an hour, and we were spoken to one time. Update: After great customer service from owner, and another visit, we had an excellent time!

Wish someone would have told this woman to put her shoes back on! I think the photo speaks for itself. We have been here around 6 times. The male bartenders are always friendly and try to stop by as much as possible. The females are always ignoring people and are not very friendly. I have watched so many people have to walk up to the bar because no one has greeted them at a table. Food isnt bad and neither are the drinks. If you can get a good bar tender youll enjoy your time here! Improvements can always be made.

First time was Thur, I didn t know what to expect; it far exceeded my expectations!! The spirits selection is totally awesome that wowed me. Then the atmosphere is out-of-sight with TVs all around, music, large bar and lots of seating. Next is the outdoor patio its large with lots of seating and TVs, even a private space for a small group or an intimate couple. The bathroom is fancy, clean, and more than two stalls. Then there s the food. We just got appetizers which were devoured Brussels sprouts jazzed up with a delicious relish and queso with brisket and pico (the chips were even real good). Yep definitely going back and taking some friends!

Wife and I saw the positive reviews and were encouraged to try this place. We arrived ~630pm Thursday, seated ourselves, we grabbed a menu from an open table, figured out our order. This was a great bar with a very comfortable atmosphere. The bartenders were all great and the drinks were fantastic. It was great to see each bartender really take the time to make the drinks. I really liked the setup, food and drinks and that is the reason why I am giving The Rusty Nails two stars. This place was recommended by a friend and I wanted to try it out. Now, if you are looking for good service as an educated corporate black woman who is looking for a low key place to relax your overworked mind on a Monday evening this is not the place. I watched for 30 minutes as the two Hispanic women bartenders approached several different tables and completely ignored the table I was sitting at with another educated black corporate woman. We literally had to called one of them over just to get a to go box and our check. We mentioned that we were sitting and waiting and mentioned how we didn t want to feel like we were being ignored as we were the only ones in there and we just received a snarky okay as she walked off. Service level given to customers of the same demographics - you will see a difference! My friends raved about this place a few days ago, and decided to see for myself. Customer service from J (will not reveal his name) was outstanding and an amazing bartender! As shifts transitioned and the crowd filled the place, myself and company were not acknowledge. A solid 30+ minutes of waiting and observing the crowd, we wanted to make sure we were not being biased towards in the establishment. When requesting service and addressing concerns, I addressed being more cognizant of demographics and the negative perception it can foster - we were the only two black women sitting near the window amongst empty tables. Wow! This is probably the best pub I have been to in years, if not ever. The selection is amazing, the food is off the charts (have to get them large portobello fried mushrooms) and the staff is professional and super friendly. If you go here just to eat and have fun then you ll love it. Don t expect amazing service from the servers and you ll be just fine. Or when you order your food, ask them to bring you napkins, utensils, and everything else you ll need and everything will be just fine. Otherwise, I like the place.

My best bar in San Antonio. They have a great collection of beers with outdoor seats. They have a bunch of games that you can play for free indoors and outdoors. Always ask for Jasmine, shes a great person.

This is a great place as far as food and drinks. Only sad part is management is poor and unreliable. For a place with such professionalism they truly lack that. They treat the staff without compassion and understanding. Businesses only run well when management is strong which they aren t. This place is sad and unfortunate and you can see it when you go. These people are people too and should be treated as such. Just cause they work under someone doesn t make them less. This business thinks no one can see how poorly they treat the staff ,but trust everyone can see it.

New favorite on the westside of town. Nice spot to relax and have a couple of cold adult beverages. Food was pretty tasty as well and the staff is top notch. Can get busy at times, but well worth the stop if in the area

A fantastic bar with great food. Actually, the first thing youll notice is the staff. Everyone here turns the hospitality up to eleven. Your drink will always be full and so will your belly. Speaking of food: WOW! The burgers, the brisket, the appetizers - everything will amaze. Finally there is a challenger for best burger (Im looking at you The Melt(NoVA)) and how in the world do brussel sprouts taste that good? Theres a good selection of whiskey, a clean bar, a friendly atmosphere, great food and decent pricing. This should be your new hangout. 04/13 - the bar got better!!

I was surprised when I walked in. The Rusty Nail has a smooth club type ambiance without the bumping thumping music. I was there during the weekday before 5 so the chill vibe was in the air. Theres good service at the tables, the Servers are on T of their Game which will highten the experience. The Rusty Nail has a pretty impressive Bbq Slider too. Im definitely going back to this place for sure.

Great Bar appearance, dont let the outside fool you. They have decent patio and plenty seating. A very large liquor selection but thats where they mess up..prices are very high ($24 for a double middle of the road whiskey) and bar tender accidentally charges us for extra drinks..Manger was curt when we brought it to his attention..potential but not quite a great bar. The whiskey was basil hayden..ordered 3 doubles..charged for 4?
