Talked to management abt no air coming from vents by DJ dance floor and told it s an old building so sorry we can t do anything. Yet my friend was here two weeks ago and there was air coming through vents. You d think they would set up fans or ceiling fans over dance floor. Come here and be prepared to sweat. Oh and bartenders and their area nice and cool. Manager laughed when I told him about my review and walked away when I said they could set up ceiling fans or something.

My wife and I heard about this place. We haven t been out in awhile and we wanted to check it out. We work a lot and wanted to try something new. So, we go to the bar, there wasn t a lot of people cause we showed up a little after 8. We go to the bar and the bartender was literally right in front of us. We were in front of him for at least 15 minutes. No getting, a hi,I ll be right with you. Nothing. We finally get the same guy about 20min later. Mind you this guy looks totally unhappy to serve us. My wife asked the bartender about a certain bottle they had their and he says I don t know, I can t see it . Makes our drinks makes he s hand gesture for my card. He sees some people right next to us and starts laughing with them and greeting them. Needless to say the bartenders there only serve you well if you re a regular or if they know you. The way he treated those people, is the way you should treat everyone. After that drink we left and probably won t go back again.

First time here with a group of friends from out of town, visiting the city from faaaar away, we approached the bar tender, a young lady, she first pretends to not be able to hear us as the music is loud anywho, she gets out order with a very rude face, no emotion whatsoever, we all tip her, we come back for a second round so we ask for drinks and she pretends like she doesn t know anything we ask for, then we started speaking loud because she kept pretending like she couldn t hear us. She gets upset and tells us to stop yelling, makes 2 drinks and tells us to go with someone else didn t even give us a chance to tell her we re not yelling but that the music is loud and we want to make sure she can hear us the music/eh was great though, just the bar team was extremely rude, I understand they are probably short staffed but come on be respectful for the ones consuming and tipping

Man what a night that we had with our son! Our oldest son invited us and we had such a great time, now Mom and I are in our 40s and the energy in there is just fantastic! We had such a great time thank you to the staff, the bartenders, and the security guard who made sure that our son was okay on the dance floor after a few drinks! Employees are great, the Owners cool the Security Pedro is awesome and there is always something to eat within eyesight / outside & So You Dont Drive All The Way *** Dress Code When Security Is Onsight: - NO - flip flops, plain white Ts, gym shorts, Jerseys, backwards caps & muscle shirts with or without the scooter stick. But I swear its always been a fun and friendly safe atmosphere when Ive been there and I believe youre gonna Love it .

This a great place for dancing and having a drink. Gets a busy on the weekend like any other popular bar but it was enjoyable. They have a live dj after 10 pm that plays a heavily focused Latin music playset. Which keeps the dance floor packed. The drinks were great and the bartenders kept up really well with getting your orders out. I wild recommend this place if you are in the downtown/pearl area

Staff are not good I literally waited outside in line and it was super cold and they wouldn t let us in because apparently we had to wait for others to come out which that was dumb but that wasn t it when it was our turn the security guy didn t let me in just because I had an expired ID but they were letting in other people (men and women) go in that were behind us and they didn t even checked there ID s that s so dumb; they just went in like nothing. I had never waited that long just to get in a bar & for them to do that Ya should have that security fired I understand your bar your rules but when it comes to my ID being expired and not letting me in comparing to letting others in without even checking ID s it s clearly not fair, will not be recommending this bar to anyone. Honestly the only reason we came because we were told the bartenders were giving free drinks away. At least invest in some outside heaters during the cold weather like your neighborhood Bentlys.

This place is garbage. The bouncer has no system when you wait in line. People are allowed to show up, cut in line. He allows people from the back of the line to cut in front of you. Its a whole mess. Once you manage to get in, its impossible to get a drink. Basically, if you dont know the people that work there they treat you horribly. The only good thing about this place is the DJs they hire. THATS IT. Never going here again.

I was pleasantly surprised at finding the La Roca Cantina as we were at another bar around the corner. The atmosphere was chill and the bartenders were on point . Get there early if you can . I want to start off by saying this review is strictly for the bouncer at La Roca. Myself and friends arrived around midnight and a line was formed. We waited for about 10 mins and during those 10 mins the woman at the door was being very loud and obnoxious, asking people for to follow her on Instagram and tiktok because she wanted to gain followers. It honestly seemed like she had been drinking....30 mins have now passed and we see people coming out of the bar and she was not letting as many people in as they were coming out. At this point it was getting late and we were all debating if we should go to another bar. My friend went up to her to ask how the process of letting people in is because we noticed it wasnt one person in one person out process.....The woman then proceeded to make a scene and start yelling at my friend telling her that she doesnt know what her job entails theres so much more than just letting people in and then accused my friend of being intoxicated and yelling at her letting her know that she wont allow her in now. As we were leaving she as on the phone and yelled at us stating she is talking to her boss and if we wanted to speak with him. I am in the service/hospitality industry and I was DISGUSTED by this womens behavior. If she was under my supervision she would be terminated IMMEDIATLEY! We then found out later that one of our friends was in the bar and she had seen the bouncer drinking and making out in the bar.....for any established business how is this beyond acceptable??? This didnt just leave a bad taste in my mouth for the woman but for La Roca, please take action.

I enjoyed a very well prepared Old Fashion on a Sunday evening with my s/o. The drinks were great however there was a lot of confusion on preparing my ladies drink. The first bartender took our order stating they were going to craft something on what she wanted on profiles. When the bartender walked away another came up and asked what she was having to which we stated our story and was responded with a laugh and eye roll. Not that offended us, we just wanted a drink. All in all the place was chill and drink good. I will return.

Parking enough is hard to find with so many bars around the corner and such little parking spots. But when my fiancé and I saw a parking spot this lady security went up to the car and told them to stay and told us she s not leaving and as soon as we went around the corner she let her friend take the parking spot. I was furious because once we eventually found a parking she made us wait in line and had her friends go right in. We were the only ones in line so we left never coming back here again!

This was my first time here. We were a group of 8 and we were celebrating a birthday. We start ordering our drinks and I asked for a drink mixed with Red Bull to what the rude bartender answered: where do you think you are? . I m sorry but the word cantina is a word of Spanish origin, while bar is a word of English origin. Actually, they both basically share the same meaning as a place where you can buy drinks. The ambiance and deco was good same as the music. The problem was the rude people that run this place. For me this was just another average downtown bar.
