Fernando is doing great things to location. I enjoy coming here for a drink on the weekends. I love they have Dj krunk or Dj Flame or even DJ MVP these guys really know what to play to make you feel good while your having a few.

Raunchy New owners are trying to make this place with varied music , but Fridays dj more into listening to his favorite music. Have been going to home plate for years. Covid did them in, sorry to say. Tried it out on a Friday and on a sat., Saturday ok. Do not plan on returning.

Me and my bestie went to this little Place Called Home Plate tonight it was a pretty cool little bar a lot of diversity and the people were laid back and you feel comfortable. In the short time that we were there they played songs that were anywhere from alternative dance to Tejano to country western a little bit of something for everyone.. I would definitely recommend checking out this little place for a little fun dancing and some pool

Love that Bar. I go for the Karaoke on Wednesday night with Lt. Dan. Best sounding equipment around. He sings great... Makes me sound great! Very friendly group that go there. On the older side. I like that. Reasonable prices. Beer and wine.

We stoped by and had a GREAT TIME considering the location... just outside of Leon Valley. Normally we dont hang out in small bars on that side of town but it turned out to be one great night. The DJ played a variety of music and everyone enjoyed it. I would definately recommend this for anyone who wants to have a good time at a bar with good prices.....

Dropped in with my husband on a Saturday just because we were in the area. I believe this is a spot for regulars. The bartender was very rude and acted as though you were a bother to her when ordering. We ordered draft beer. Big mistake on our part considering the beer was warm and the glasses were dirty with hardwater stains. The second round we decided on bottles. We ordered 4 bottles. The bartender got offended when my husband asked if they could be in a bucket of ice and charged him $2 extra to get them on ice. The only highlight was the DJ and the flat screens. The DJ played a mix of popular music from now and the past with some spanish & country songs mixed in as well. This has potential to be crowded with customers if only they had better customer service skills. I will not be returning any time in the near future.

If i could i would give this a no star i would ! Highly dissatisfied with this bar. I googled this place because im not familiar with this area and wanted to try something new.as we are w entering the bar i noticed it was super empty. Music was wack.Right at 2am the baffenders started yelling to finish the drinks if not they would dispose of the drinks. In a total rude way! Definitely would not recommend and will never be back!
