About 2 miles outside of San Antonio is a little bar on the bend of the road in Bracken, Texas just waiting for you to come out and enjoy what it has to offer. We've got a full bar, 12 draft taps, a variety of craft beers on hand and plenty of space for you the enjoy them. Inside is 1,800 sq ft of spaced out tables and chairs as well as a pool table and a couple of dart boards for personal or group entertainment. We've also got a nice covered patio with chairs and an uncovered patio with seating and corn hole boards. Come hang out with our friendly bartenders and enjoy an evening of Friday night Karaoke or some live music on one of our stages on a Saturday night. We look forward to seeing ya!

This is the only place in San Antonio that charges a fee to use a debit card. After googling it I see that its actually illegal just charge enough to cover it for the beer. Dont try to add another fee on. You might want to think about putting up a sign so people know instead of blindsiding them.

Nice Saloon. Comfortable and slightly rustic country atmosphere. But, by far what made it a good experience was the new bartender. She was welcoming, friendly, outgoing, and best of all, very knoweldgeable about her drinks. She also anticipates her customers needs and listens to them and gives them things they want before they even ask her. Great bartender!

Small casual bar they have pool, darts, live bands, beer. They say the have a couple of appetizers but the dont make them if theyre busy because the bartender might also be the cook... She just told us that shes busy and cant do it right now. So eat first before you go.

JW Bracken is amazing. there is no other way I can put it. my family recently hosted a baby shower for me and this was the perfect place for it. We had 49 guests, food, decorations and it was seriously one of the best days of my life. JW Bracken had an area for the kiddos to hang out so it made th affair completely family friendly. the outdoor area was a perfect place for the shower, and then we had the indoor area for others to enjoy watching tv and just relaxing. thank you so much katie for allowing my family to have our celebration at your establishment. I promise this will not be the last time we host a party here or just drop on for a few drinks and a good time.

Went there for the first time last night. I met Friends that live in that area. 6 of us total The bar tender was very rude and unfriendly! Then tried to charge a $2 convenience fee for using my debit card. Whats that? so I paid cash Then about 15 minutes later she told us she was not serving us any more. We ordered one drink! I was drinking water. One person in our group was dancing the rest of us sitting around a table. It was a Saturday night and there was a total of 4 people there before we got there. Now I know why! The practice of always charging customers a fee for credit card payments, no matter how the transaction takes place, is called a surcharge. These are currently prohibited in 10 states Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma, and Texas.
