Charlie Browns Bar is San Antonios Steeler s Bar for sure!!! It is truly a fun time!! I started going here and every time I go there it s always so much Steeler s energy. There s so many TV s to watch the games from and they have a good amount of seating choices. They also have awesome food! I personally love getting the lemon pepper wings with fries! Katie and Alex work as the bartender/waiters there, they are both amazing workers. They do a wonderful job of making sure everyone at the bar is good on drinks and food! The bar is honestly such a vibe. It is just a wonderful time being there! Parking: Parking situations are pretty manageable.

Great food at a simple neighborhood tavern. They menu is classic American favorites. My girlfriend wanted chicken fried steak and they delivered! I opted for the salsbury steak. Both were served with mashed potatoes and respective gravy (white for hers, brown for mine) it was ezcellent, but wanted another side. Green beans would have been perfect. Next tine Ill just get a side order of them. Beer on tap was good and cold, too.

I think I found my new favorite local bar! They have great food, TVs for sports, and fun events on certain nights like Karaoke, Trivia, and other fun themes. Burgers are great, wings are amazing, and Prime Rib is pretty tasty as well. Been here several times with friends and family always a good time!

This is a great neighborhood bar with surprisingly great pub fare. Great staff and close to both home and work. Parking: There is plenty of parking after the businesses in the business complex close for the day. Lunch time can be tricky to get a parking spot, but I cant remember a time that I didnt find one.

Its a dive bar... Other customers were inebriated and shouting random things (not kid friendly). They play a lot of 80s music. The food was delicious and the service was great. And to be forewarned, the inside is VERY cold. We wont be back- the atmosphere really isnt for us.

Enjoyed the late night meal. Buffalo chicken sandwich, which came with fries. We came to play Singo, which they have on Wednesdays. Evee is great at the mic for this and we enjoy playing. The place is an older neighborhood bar and grill, nothing fancy. Ambience is mellow, with their regulars. Menu is decent, havent tried anything I didnt like. They do have daily specials, as well as happy hour. Children are allowed before 9pm.

They serve a full kitchen late at night and the foods really good. They have a huge screen TV for sports junkies. And they play single a type of bingo on Wednesday and have karaoke on Friday. Ive already been back for my third time. Parking: Its easy to say from the opposite side of the street but a little bit hard to say going going northbound. ( The same size as the restaurant.)

I like it here. The staff are really friendly and likeable. They make you feel comfortable. Its a local neighborhood hangout so dont expect fancy but if you want to sit at the bar and have a beer and a burger among friendly people in a clean environment then this is definitely a good choice. They have veggie options. My only complaint; the fries are a little greasy. Reasonably priced food. Good drinks. Great ambience. No wonder theyre a staple of SA.

Good option if you need some late night eats and don t want to do fast food. I ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Flavor was good, but I felt that portions should have been larger, considering I paid $17 with tax (before tip). The chicken itself wasn t the best I ve had, but you can t complain too much looking for a meal at 10:00 pm on a Monday in San Antonio.

I have been coming back to Charlie Browns for yrs . They have the best wings in town. Ill drive over 30 miles to get them at least 5 times a month . All there food is excellent. The Rib Eye Steak ,Prime Rib the Burgers just everything. Nice place for relaxing. The Ppl and Atmosphere is great. Place to watch games .And Play Trivia and Karaoke. I bring alot of friends and family when they are in town . And Mark is Awesome as well as all others .Great Place to hang . Ive been going since it was CJs over 20 yrs . We had a great time playing trivia watching the Jaguars beat the Saints and Astros beat the Rangers. My boyfriend and I ordered the chicken fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. So good! The atmosphere was so refreshing, everyone was having fun and trying to guess all the trivia answers correctly. Oh and the Guinness on tap...come on!!! Soooo good with lots of head Our waitress was top notch! Will be back. Came back again for Valentines Day. Had the Fish and sweet potato fries Ash Wednesday dinner date. Great food and great music. This is a neighborhood bar with lots of sports TVs and peppy music. The menu is quite varied and all good. I had the ckn wings with dry Cajun rub. They were perfect. My wife had a burger with fries and she couldnt finish it all. The fries were crispy and spicy - really good.

There was no pool tables they only had one steel point dart board their other add said that they had pool tables and dart boards and when we got to the new location no they didnt have that other than that the food was good in the service was excellent they forgot to change the happy hour prices only on the drinks they need to change their ad on Facebook and the adds it was still an awesome experience we have the steak special

We stopped by for some pre football drinks. The crowd was great and upbeat. Tommy the bartender was on point. He served us our drinks with a great and positive attitude. However, another female bartender attended to our drink requests with a rude, snarky and unprofessional attitude. This place had great reviews so my dough and I decided to try it after her soccer game. We walked in and there wasn t a sign to either wait to be seated or seat yourself. We seated ourselves and waited. No staff came over to greet or take a drink order. Actually it didn t appear to have any staff there at all. All we saw were customers eating, drinking and watching the game. So we left. From what I saw the food did look good and it seems like a nice local bar and grill to go to watch a game. I usually have a great experience at CBs but this new staff today was distracted, inattentive, and nonchalant in bar service. I literally stood at the front of the bar for 8-10 minutes without so much as I ll be right with you . Bar tenders on their phone, going back house for extended periods, chatting up their friends. Finally just walked out of the place with a buddy. Didn t think my favorite neighborhood bar/grill would treat a loyal customer like this but there s a first time For everything I guess.

Friend and I were in the area and this Neighborhood Bar on my list to try and we were not disappointed. It was a Thursday night and they had trivia going, so we sat at the bar. Best decision to have a friendly bartender that we started with a couple of beers. I asked for the Guinness and was asked regular or large. Who can say no to a large Guinness, but I was astonished when it came out in a 24oz mug with a perfect pour. Friend was vegetarian and he got the Veggie burger that he said was good. I got the Spicy Philly and tots. The sandwich was huge with meat, cheese, jalapenos, peppers and mushrooms. The tots are worth just driving over to this bar. They were cooked perfectly and I dipped a little in the mayonnaise that tasted house made because I usually dont like mayo. If you are in this area, stop by here for good food, big drinks and great company.

We were greated at our table by Tom, who was super pleasant and welcoming while giving us a run down of the draft beer choices. He then took our order and came back with 2 frosted mugs filled with Shiner beer. Tom took great care of us that evening. We later found out through conversation that Tom is a manager. Most places managers hide in the back but not this guy. Tom has definitely earned my respect and business as we will be coming back for the great food, cold beer and amazing service.

Some of the best bar food in town! I recommend the Philly cheese steak, tater tots, and chicken fried steak. Their steak night is also really good as are their nachos. Theyve added something like 16 big screen TVs recently so its a great place for watching sports. Super cool little bar! I ate the grilled chicken salad on the first trip and the horseradish buffalo wings on the 2nd visit, both were very tasty! Good service, smiling faces...Lindsay is fabulous! Ill definitely be back!

Ordered the Steak Nacho Appetizer. Guess what? No steak on the Nachos but ground beef instead. Very misleading. However they were tasty. Also the wings were great and the service was excellent.

I went for the wings and I was severely disappointed. They were about the most expensive wings I have bought in some time (price of wings had just plummeted the week or two before) and comparables for the day at several different restaurants showed that this place was overpriced still. Anyway, I figured that if they were charging that much for the wings then they must be great and I prepped myself for joy that would soon flaps its way into my stomach. Well, when the wings got to the table I had a very hard time telling which flavor was which because, and I am not overindulging with the truth here, many of the wings didnt have any rub on them at all, or at least none that I could see in the slightly dim lighting. I picked up several pieces and inspected more closely and the flavoring was sparse to say the least. I had ordered enough wings to get 4 flavors and I would say 3 of the 4 spice levels was unacceptable with the 4 being barely acceptable. I asked for some more on the side and the flavors were great and the service absolutely wonderful. Someone even came out close to the end of our meal to say they would cook them again since they didnt have enough seasoning. But by that time we were almost done and it didnt seem worth it. Anyway, I may be being a bit critical here but for the price of those wings they should have been beyond reproach, heck if I am being honest, I would expect that if I had paid half the price. It reminded me of another wings spot in our area that I constantly had to keep asking them to add seasoning (they had a flavor I really like so we went a few time) but after a year or so they never learned to season their wings right and they eventually went out of business. I cant say for certain why but I suspect a lot of people want to taste the flavor they ordered, if not, there are fried chicken spots that we can go to if we just want that fried chicken flavor.

Hanging out with some family and they suggested Charlie Browns. Was not disappointed! Cold beer and a nice patio that was cigar-friendly. Karaoke was on the menu that night and we had a blast singing and doing our part to entertain the crowd. Definitely give this place a try.

Really GREAT food! We had the wings and a Philly cheesesteak. Both were awesome and the 2 bartenders did a great job of taking care of us. We will definitely be back for sure and recommend anyone thinking about giving it a try!
