I got the chicken deluxe sandwich, my girlfriend got the mushroom burger and we also had a funnel cake - all were extremely delicious and a good portion! We came close to closing, so they didn t have certain ingredients for a milkshake, the cucumber cup and additional toppings for the funnel cake, but that was our bad for going close to closing. But we ll definitely be going back!

Teddy B s has one of the best (easily in the top three of all time) Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches that I have tasted. They are consistently outstanding (we have eaten here once a week for over a month now). The hoagie style bun is soft and warm, the steak is thinly sliced but still has that steak feel to it, the mushrooms, peppers and onions are thick sliced so that you get flavor and texture. I wasn t keen on the white sliced American cheese but it melts all over the filling and holds everything together nicely. The sandwich is always freshly made and filling! We like the tots as a side because they are always cooked crispy and hot. If you love a Philly Cheese Steak, give this one a try!

Came here due to reviews and came out very disappointed. Burger came out with NO flavor.buns were too soaked of oil and ruined the overall taste of the burger.Meat had NO flavor whatsoever although a good portion size. Tatertots had more flavor. At least the tatertots were nicely portioned. Surprised drink was not included in combo and pretty expensive for a can of soda.

We went here on Saturday. They now have a wall between the gs station and the restaurant. So thats a plus. They have always had good food. I had the kids cheeseburger combo meal with tater tots, and it was great. I also got their corn in a cup, i wasnt a fan of that. It wasnt made like most other places. They do not have the syrup for their soda machine and no tea. No tea in SA? I had to get a bottle of water. I wasnt happy about that. My friend got their philly combo with fries. He got a canned doctor pepper. Although the philly was smaller than most other places for the same price, he said it was good. The cashier was friendly. Well go back because I love their burgers, but Id like for their soda machine to be working and/or get tea.

First time ordering here, we used their drive thru which is new. I got a chorizo burger and my husband got the mushroom Swiss. Both were amazing and very tasty and a good size. Used to be a good value and quality, but this place has been very inconsistent since its renovation. There should be a competent manager or supervisor on duty: Went on a early Sunday evening and the space was messy and untended. Little to no ketchup in the bottles on table which looked as if they hadnt been wiped down all day. And the staff seems lethargic and uncaring. Ordered a regular burger combo with bacon added to it... Simple enough, but the burger took more than 20 minutes to come out. And I was lucky with that timing since the couple next to me had waited more than 30 minutes for their order while the restaurant wasnt even busy. And the kicker is that I got the burger home and they had forgotten the bacon. Cant recommend this place until the standards get better

I went here over the weekend because I heard this local hamburger joint was struggling. I ve been hearing good things about this place so I decided to try it. My boyfriend and I got a cheeseburger, a Frito pie, tater tots,and corn in a cup. The total came out to $29 and some change. It didn t take long for our food to come out. The Frito pie was really good! And the corn in the cup was on point as well and I do appreciate that they had different hot sauces that you could put in your corn. Unfortunately, the hamburger was a little lackluster. It didn t really have any flavor to it and I actually got bacon on mine. My boyfriend thought the same thing about his burger and he said his tater tots tasted like they were fried and old grease. All in all I love the atmosphere, and the prices I think reflect what you get. I don t know if I would return here, but if you like this local joint, they are struggling a bit.

Mayday mayday! Went yesterday to see if this place lived up to the hype. In addition this small gem needs your help. I had the enchilada hotdog and this concoction was amazing. Went her with my husband, and we both loved it. We decided to spend our 1 year anniversary in San Antonio and found this place on Instagram, and we were so happy we did. We went around 8:30 and there was a little wait for our food which was understandable because it was a few people ahead of us so we knew it was going to be good. I got the macho burger with the corn and a funnel cake, and my husband got the double cheeseburger with fries. Everything was good, and all the staff were sweet.

Teddy B s has great hamburgers. They are fresh and obviously homemade. On this occasion, I had the Swiss mushroom burger and my daughter had the grilled cheese. Another nice touch is that they have veggie burgers. My daughter is a vegetarian and it s difficult to find hamburger places that cater to both of us. I ordered the macho burger, it was basic, Looks like they use frozen patties, it had no flavor whatsoever so ever. The Egg also tasted bland, salt and pepper at least would have been nice. The tator totals were also bland and soggy. The bacon was chewy. For the price, I ll probably never do that again. I should a stopped at McDonakds right next to it instead. Amazing, great price, and great service and atmosphere. The food is ready to order, the portions are huge, the flavor is amazing. I would describe it as American food done with a Mexican flavor, the hotdogs are grilled to a light crisp and both sides of the buns are toasted. The burgers seared with a juicy center and a great touch of seasoning. The fries were crispy and fluffy on the inside and the red seasoning on them was great. And the aguas frescas!!! OMG dude get that! The melon and pineapple are a personal favorite but they are all delicious and refreshing! TLDR: Great food, with big taste and size. Kind service and clean location. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, with fries and a Watermelon Fresa because they only had that and pineapple available out of all their options. I ordered a medium and the lady who took my order must ve charged me wrong because she gave me two medium and said sorry we didn t have large, but I didn t order a large anyways.. oh well not really complaining for an extra drink right the burger was bland, patty wasn t seasoned as previous reviews stated. Also I didn t get bacon. I drive 26 mins home to find out my order was wrong. I guess it s my fault I didn t check it, but I was literally the only customer in their store, I didn t think they d get it wrong. Teddy Bs burgers might appear a little pricey but when you get your burger youll understand the price matches the quality and quantity of the food. Absolutely amazing avocado burger however I took away one star because the side order of cucumber slices that I got instead of the french fries were EH to say the least. I gave atmosphere one star for the simple fact that the music was so loud I could not even talk to my husband without yelling and we were sitting next to each other. That is beyond annoying and definitely prevented me from wanting to stay and dine in so we took our food to go. Listen to your music as loud as you want but please please please turn it down when customers come in. We dine in because were seeking a peaceful place to eat and not everybody likes the same music. Had it not been for that I would have given the atmosphere five stars.

A friend of my daughters recommended this place and I must say were very happy she did. You can choose from tats, fries, corn in a cup, or cucumber. The bugers are big. The atmosphere was ok, nothing bad, just kinda wish they would clean the tables. Tried for the first time last night and loved it. Will definitely be going back. We had a Teddy B, burger with ham and avocado, and a cheeseburger. Both were really good. Juicy but not greasy, nice brioche buns. It was quite a mouthful. Comes with fries, tots, corn cup, or cucumber salad. We had fries, crinkle cut, and tots. They only just reopened after a remodel/build so the interior could do with some design. But the food is so good it makes up for that. They have a large menu of burgers and snacks like Frito pie and enchilada hot dogs. Most burgers were around $9-10. Totally worth it. Friendly staff round out a great experience. Will be back to work my way through the menu

An adorable burger and more joint next to a gas station. The tables are lopsided and the chairs easily slide about on the concrete flooring but the food is what we came for. We ordered some nachos with jalapeños. A double meat with cheese burger and a bacon burger both with tater tots. The nachos have a generous amount of cheese. Sadly, most of the chips were crumbs. Regardless, they hit the nostalgia factor for my husband and I of good old movie days, when they used to cook their cheese in crockpots/warming pots. The burgers are delicious and huge! The meat size is thick and full of flavor. They are cooked well done and taste of good quality meat. The buns are toasted and a bit oily on top as a good American burger should be. The tater tots were cooked perfectly and had the right amount of crunch. The price is reasonable for the size of food given. The person who took our order was kind and patient. My wife and I had a couple of bacon cheese burgers with fries, they were great. I wouldn t say the best in town, but definitely a good spot worth a return visit. The tables are all wobbly, and the chairs slide around on the angled floor, but other than that it was a good experience.

The Texas Burger they serve... Best Burger in San Antonio so far. Strawberry shake was incredible. We had other things like the south west corn, mushroom burger and cheese chilli fries. All were superb but dwarfed in just how good the texas burger and shake was. Will definitely return! Customer service was great and they are very welcoming and friendly too.

This is place is serving up some good food, I got the crunch burger it came out hot with fresh ingredients and was delicious. The fries were crispy and cook to perfection, and the strawberries obsession drink was to die for it was $6 but it is definitely worth a try, I will definitely be back. I paid around $18 a bit expensive for a burger meal but it was worth it.

Dont let the exterior fool you. Although the outside it doesnt look like much, its the same Teddy Bs on the inside. Serving up really nice burgers as well as other sandwiches, hotdogs, and snacks. Really though the burgers are the star of the show. The brick and mortar renovations arent completely done, and the kitchen has only been open for about a week, but there are tables, chairs, and delicious food (which is all you really need)

Wanted a burger and found this place on Yelp and decided to try. It is a food truck in a gas station parking lot with a shaded sitting area. Incredibly underrated, probably one of the best burgers Ive had in my life. Ive been here several times and I usually get the Bacon Cheeseburger. Yes, it costs more than Mcds but this is one of very few burgers I feel is worth $13 (with tip). The hot dogs and other burgers are equally as impressive. The portion sizing is a great value for the price as well. You get fries or tater tots with your order, but theyre very average ngl. (At least you get a lot of them) Expect a decent wait time if you come in a large group. Each entree is cooked to order so it takes a small bit. Expect at least 10 minutes + 5 more minutes for each extra person.

Currently theyre operating out of their food truck, I was devastated when I thought they were closed. We went two days in a row for dinner because it was that delicious! Their burger buns are soft and buttered, the meat is seasoned fantastically. Theyre hot dogs are so big and flavorful, I got so full from just one hot dog! If you are looking for fine dining quality and mouth savoring deliciousness with every succulent bite, then I would definitely recommend you check out this hideaway to paradise! I havent had so much flavor in the very first bite of a cheeseburger since they closed Kellers in Dallas. The size of the burger alone will have you in awe, the taste was beyond superb and I am extremely impressed with how juicy and tender the meat was, usually with bigger burgers they get seared easier or fall apart and crumble before it hits my mouth. It wasnt too greasy either. The owners and staff are very polite and friendly. Plus nothing is ever frozen, there its made to order and these days I dont think it gets much better than that. Vegetarian options: They will customize your order to the way you want it Parking: Its a store that the food truck is parked at Kid-friendliness: There are tables and benches to sit down, next to the food truck if you want to enjoy a picnic there.

5/13 I loved this place. (When they were inside) They r renovating. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato and onion only (no cheese). Guy who took my order messing with his hair. No problem until he turned and started cooking food!? I mentioned it someone, other guy told him to go wash his hands. He returned and grabbed some customer napkins to dry hands. Received my order, hamburger had cheese and pickles but no onions. The burger and bun were soaking in grease. : ( I understand they are remodeling but... : ( I dont think they r ready for this outside set up yet. They should remember to shut the screen after they take an order. LOTS of flys on the inside of trailer. I might return in 2 months, when remodeling is finished. Take a look at Jesus Flores review (pictures) That s how Im used to my order looking.

I was excited to try this place out. First thing that caught my eye was the tablet used at counter. My experience with these tell me they ask for tip when ordering. Luckily I have cash to avoid guilt tip. Second, I order a cheeseburger combo that is $9.29. I m charged $11.36. Didn t realize it at first but that s more than what I should have been charged. Taxes on $9.29 is 76 cents for a total of $10.05. Why was I charged $1.35 more? Third, they don t give you a receipt so you can see what are charges. It s these kind of small business hidden charges (Fattboys did similar thing to me) that turn me away from supporting them. I don t know if it s employees or business that are doing this but I ll never go back to Teddy B s or Fattboys again.
