I am very disappointed this visit. For some reason, we were seated in the sun room area, which smelled of mildew, and the carpet was filthy and sticky. Just ruined the whole dining experience.

I have always enjoyed the fried white fish served with carrots and green beans. But not this time. Much to my surprise the strips of crispy fried white fish have now turned into these big slabs of thinly coated fish which resemble steaks because of their size and thickness. Needless to say the delicious crispness is totally missing. The delicious Italian cut green beans are now just plain old canned green beans. Very disappointing

Ordered the sirloin medium to medium rare one side was almost medium the other side was well done. The baked potato was half raw. The server was great. It was a rainy day and a couple of people complained about how cold it was and someone turned on the heat and made it unbearable to stay . Will not be visiting this location again.

Had to wait awhile for hostess to get to the front to seat us. Shouldve known when we walked to our table and noticed alot of people not eating any food this was gonna be a bad experience. Waiter was good but thats all that was. Heard him tell other tables he was sorry for the long wait. We ordered simple appetizers so we thought ours would be quick, not the case. After 45 minutes we asked for the check. Manager came to our table and had one excuse after another. Told her my daughter worked here years ago and this wouldnt have happened back then. Bad service employees looked unkept . Over all horrible experience.

Morgan, night time supervisor was beyond helpful. We had a takeout order and one steak was undercooked and super veiny. When we called he was quick to help and was very nice and professional. He took care of us and made sure to let us know if we ever need help in the future that he will be happy to assist.

Good food...havent been on a while due to slow service. Wasnt greeted for a bit, but after a wait, everything after was very good. Service hasnt changed. Still very slow. Took forver to refil and the second one I drank very slow. One server would take so long to check on her tables. Waited 20 minutes for things she forgot to bring. It was too long to wait for anything.

I travel in from OKC from time to time to attend to my store in San Angelo and I frequent this establishment while Im in town. I have always had decent service from several from this location, but I have yet to experience Sam until today. He is a great asset to this company. He understands customer service! My family and I expected a decent meal and normal service from Cheddars. But we couldnt be more wrong. During our visit, everything was AMAZING! Our waiter was extremely professional and attentive. The food didnt disappoint in any way. Our visit was to celebrate my dads birthday, and Cheddars definitely made that an extremely enjoyable and memorable day for my family. My dad was so impressed with the Ribeye that he still brings it up in conversation. Thank you to our waiter and Cheddars for the awesome service.

When our waiter greeted us, he asked how we were doing and we asked how he was doing. He replied that he had been better and indicated that all the computers were down so he had to write everything down. He said we had to let him know immediately if it was separate tickets. We waited over an hour to get our food and he came out 2 or 3 times while we waited to complain that it was the cooks fault that it was taking so long - they couldnt read the tickets, they were young, etc. He also made bad jokes and indicated that it was Trumps fault that we hadnt received our food. At one point, he came out and gave us our tickets - still had not received our food. Several people who had arrived after us received their food so we arent sure what was going on. The manager finally came over and said she would be discounting our tickets. She gave us a 25% discount which was very nice of her. We finally received our food and it was cold. We wont be going back there anytime soon.

The service was great and everyone was very friendly and attentive, but the food has been problematic on several occasions and all the margaritas come pre-mixed. The food came out in a decent time but the steak was extremely undercooked (I ordered medium), and somehow the mashed potatoes had random broccoli pieces in it. Ending on a positive note... the croissants were definitely great as always.

First time trying Cheddars. It was clean inside. Our server wasnt great. My sister, and I ordered diet Coke. She tasted hers, and said it wasnt diet Coke. The server had her taste everyone elses drinks to see if he got them mixed up. He then brought her another diet Coke. That was wrong as well. Mine wasnt right either, but I drank mine.

After traveling for an entire week through the Southwest, weve had fast food, Mexican, sit down, and takeout. This was our favorite by far. We got chicken fried steak, the bacon cheeseburger, and the chicken tender meal. The portions were so good for the price. A nice home style meal for less than some fast food joints. And wayyy better quality! And better than the great food was the waiter! Terrence was awesome! Friendly, quick and attentive. You rock man! Thank you for a great end to a long week!

We went around 3:30pm for an early dinner, and when we got there, we were very disappointed. The host that sat us was messy, and when he sat us at our booth, under the table was disgusting. We looked around at other tables to see if we could be re-sat, and the other tables were just as bad. The carpet was also littered. This location was so dirty. We didnt even stay to eat.

Amazing Update: Corporate office reached out and refunded our meal. Very good customer service! Waitress was nice. Appetizer we chose was the spinach dip, it was runny and chips were stale. Salad had a funky taste, like poured straight from a bag. I was so excited to have the Monte Cristo. It was raw in the middle and nearly burnt. My mothers fried shrimp was raw also. They took my sandwich off the ticket. Both of friench fries were old like they had been sitting out all day. Sad to say after years of visiting, this was our last visit. Bathrooms were disgusting also.

Went to eat with my family. We ordered two chicken strip plates. Needless to say we got something extra baked into our strips. A hair was baked into the breading of the strips. We ordered spinach dip and got brought out a dirty plate with chips on it. Mind you we didn t order dessert so there would be no reason to have a strawberry/red sticky sauce on the plate. We will not be returning back. This place has definitely gone down hill.

The service was excellent! The honey butter croissants are absolutely delicious! The portions are ample. The mashed potatoes are the real deal (no instant), and the broccoli and cheese casserole was tasty. However, the meatloaf (which I had) was not very good. (It could have been an off day for the meatloaf since everything else was delicious.) Although I didnt like the meatloaf, I would still recommend Cheddars.

The Dijon chicken was oddly very sweet, tasted like they ran out of Dijon and substituted honey mustard. It wasn t awful, but not good either, just weird. The mashed potatoes were fine but 1/3 of my broccoli had moldy stems. Makes me worry about quality control in general. What self-respecting BOH would cook and serve obviously bad produce? And the undercooked croissant was gross and ended up in the trash along with half my meal. It didn t make me sick but my stomach was making some weird noises. My 80-something year old parents like this place, I don t get it. I usually give places a second chance but serving moldy food is dangerous. Vegetarian options: Moldy veggies. Need I say more? The server was kind and courteous but overwhelmed, or so it seemed. Well, the food comes, wife and grandaughters food was good and hot. Ordered ribeye medium rare. It was medium well. Show it to the server he apologized and had them prepare a new steak. While waiting, it took so long that everyone else was done. Im actually not a fan of chain restaurants, and I had a very bad experience at this location years ago. This time, our server was engaged and very friendly. The fried fish was excellent, although the portions of the sides were very small. It was interesting to see the manager walk around the dining area greeting customers and checking on them. Ordered curbside to-go, nobody came to bring my order so I went inside and it was sitting on a bench by the door. I ordered the burger and when I got back to my hotel the lettuce was completely wilted, definitely wasnt crisp when they made the burger. The fries were really soggy as well with no salt. There was no sauce or anything on the burger, just a dry bun, tomato and yellow onion, bland meat with no seasoning. Pretty sorry excuse for a burger it wasnt worth the money. I even added a tip to the order which was a complete waste of money seeing as nobody brought it out.

I love cheddars but today I came in with a party of 6 and we sat in a booth, unfortunately the sun was in 3 of our faces. Ask our waitress ABBY C to kindly shut the blinds so we could enjoy our visit. She came back to tell us she was unable to do this until the other customers left. Basically we would have to suffer. 2 of us couldn t barely see the ppl across from us to talk to. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Last time I ate here was about 3 years ago and it was pretty bad. Thought we d try it again and was reminded why we stopped coming. The server took 10 minutes to greet us and I had to ask him to get our drink from the bar that had been sitting there for 15 minutes. Our appetizer had some slimy booger looking thing with hair in it, I am gagging thinking about it. The chicken strips were so hard my kid couldn t eat. Next time we come back if there is a next time will be more than 3 years for sure.

It took a hostess a few minutes to seat us. When she did she took us into the other dining room. Whoever puts carpet down in these concepts is a terrible idea. There was food everywhere on the floor, and at the table she tried to sit us was half a grilled cheese sandwich and when my fiance said we dont want this, she had the audacity to get angry with us because of it. Food was subpar at best and the other room she sat us in was blindingly hot. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Ive eaten at Cheddars so many times and usually enjoy it. But this last time we ordered a chicken pot pie and about 10 minutes later the manager and/or chef came to say they were too salty and were being remade. Brought us out some tendies for the wait. Very accommodating and nice to fix the problem before serving it to customers.

Worked there for almost a decade it was nice till the last year the new management they put in place only care about how good they look to corporate and how much money they can make and little work they can do they expect us to thank them as employees for them working alongside us as our bosses they took away all of the benefits of working there and they take money from their employees. The employees try their best to do what they can, and they deserve to be treated with respect because of the fact that they are dealing with the public the service they have available and bad management. Hopefully we can see this restaurant turn back around because when I started there, it was a diamond star restaurant with quality service and amazing food. It s sad to see such a good place to go so bad so quick when you care about the bottom line and your profit more than people, your turnover rate and your reviews show the truth you can t hide that even if your bottom line is good every day

My aunt and I had gone for dinner.... had some wonderful margaritas. Our Server was better than pockets on a shirt....lol. I cant say enough about the the amazing young man, his care, his respect for people, and his attentiveness! Great staff!!!!
