I am so picky with my Mexican food but woooohooo this place is a must in San Angelo!!!! Great food, service was fantastic and they had live music (Thursdays) First time visiting, definitely coming back. It was great, best food in town.

This was a decent place, shows a little age but food was generally good. The queso for appetizer was nothing special, more like rehydrated cheese dip and very runny. Entrees were decent, good enchiladas, fajitas were over cooked and service was lacking. When we went there wasnt very many other patrons their but service was subpar. Not a terrible experience but was hoping for more.

It was our monthly get together. We heard there would be singing in the restaurant. We thought we would join in the fun. Our experience was very fun and exciting. The food was delivered hot and delicious. Thumbs up to our waiter, Ashton! Parking: Theres plenty of parking. There is parking on front and back side of restaurant.

I was waiting for the Greyhound bus and a friend asked that I meet him there to eat before I left. I got dropped off outside and sat at the benches with my traveling bag and some man kept coming outside and looking at me negatively like I was a homeless guy. My friend showed up, we went and ate. The food was ok. I went back outside waiting on a cab and the same man kept looking at me shaking his head. Im not homeless but he should still be more sympathetic if I was. I wouldnt want him as a friend.

100% recommended, the service is very good and each dish ordered has been very successful abuelitos plate is one of my favorites, sirloin with a very rich spicy green sauce, also another of my favorites is the Jacqueline special (grilled shimp with vegetables , served with rice, beans and salad ) The drinks at the bar have also been to my liking. Yesterday I just stopped by for a tortilla soup that was also very delicious.

Great food and service every time I have visited here and they have some of the best authentic food you absolutely cant get anywhere else. I try something new every time and continue to be impressed. The Edward plate has two burritos with shredded chicken covered in a Chile red sauce. Got the queso supreme with some type of stew meat maybe with green Chile. It was really cheesy but good. Sweet tea wasnt bad. Do love stopping by here when I pass thru.

Stopped into Panchitos after a school event while in San Angelo. They appeared to be closing, but allowed us to come in. We had about an hour prior to closing. They apparently were slow but had large parties. Service was great and friendly. Good had awesome flavor. The white sauce is always a nice addition to any meal while in San Angelo. (Its a San Angelo thing) Just ask for it. They do charge for it though but its worth it. Chips were perfect crisp and food was perfect temperature. We had a table of about 12 and all was pleasantly quiet and we enjoyed our nice meal. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating. We will stop through again when were in the area. #TravelTexicanAdventures

Beautiful restaurant! The guiso is delicious, and so is the hamburger steak. However, the steak/fajita are hard to get through. I picked up a Togo order last night and one of the salads that was individually packed had traces of ground beef and soggy cheese as if it was taken from another plate(touched or untouched, I do not know) but it really disgusted me! I am leaving this review in hopes that management will take notice and whomever did THAT will NOT do it again!!!

Rude staff. They didnt start order I had ordered online until I arrived, so that was a waste of my time. Sat there and waited 20 minutes for some old woman that can barely be heard to get irate with me because I cant hear her barely whispering sir? from 10 feet away. Stood up and went to collect my order from her, and she says, hurry up, I have stuff to do. I pause and stand there staring at her face. I responded with, sorry, you speak softly. She goes really? in an extremely rude manor, then confirms the order name one last time, and walks off, not giving me my receipt. This will be the last time I eat here. Ever.

There were 5 of us for lunch. Pepper waited on us and was very helpful, attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed the special carnitas the were cooked perfectly, the borracho beans were tasty and the fries crunchy and flavorful. She even got all the salad dressings right! We will be back!

The chips and salsa were good. The food was hot and fresh. I had the beef quesadilla plate, which had a good amount of food on it, the rice and beans were good. It was the beef quesadilla that was disappointing. The beef was under seasoned/bland; and there was an overwhelming amount of cheese, easily just as much cheese as there was beef. Everyone else in our party seemed to enjoy their food without complaint. Maybe its just me and the number of tex-mex restaurants that i have been to over the years...i just wanted more flavor and a complimenting amount of cheese, possibly a more golden-brown tortilla.

Had a chicken fried steak today! The BEST chicken fry ive had in a long time, but the best in san angelo since i have been back in san angelo the last few months. Extremely hard to find a scratch made chicken fry today. PERFECTLY seasoned, and gravy was out of this world with it. I have 20+ years of professional line cook experience! One of the BEST ive had! My hats off to the cooks and kitchen staff that work there. 6 out of 5 stars . And i would like the generous man who helped me with my car today in the parking lot today, THANK YOU!!!!

What a great place, very clean, friendly staff and the food was amazing. I m from the Midwest and I ve been here twice so far. The atmosphere very good with hint of an authentic Mexican style. We ve had the Viva Mexico, Mexican lunch and we did not disappoint. Highly recommended
