Kids loved seeing the UFO that landed close to us! ;-) I had heard it was gone but when we went by we saw it and had to stop and show the kiddos.

Something to make a quick stop to see if you re passing through. Be careful about not running around inside too much because there are wasps nests and they ll come out and sting you if you do (my husband got stung the picture is obviously pre-sting).

Its been here for over 20+ years and has been painted many times and Im sure it will get another paint job before the rust finally takes it toll. Its also a great landmark for giving directions who can miss the road just before the giant orange ufo. Its still standing and withstanding the test of time wouldve been great if it had been kept completely intact. But then nobody would be able to visit it as someone would be living in it. Despite the rough interior its still a peice of residential building history too bad they never took. Wouldve been awesome to see how they changed their design for newer models as the years went by i would live in one no question.

Even though its not in good shape I was very excited to finally see one of these! Theyre so very few in the world and when I discovered one wasnt too far from where I live I just had to see it! I did not walk on the inside because it doesnt look very stable. There is a nice concrete driveway to park in right in front of it.

Dont believe the no access to this place and parking on the side of the road. There is a road you can pull onto and park. Yes, it says no trespassing, but dont worry about that. Its a 5 min stop just to take pics and say you have been here.

I live close to that spot and its so nice to see it all cleaned up. That structure has been through a lot over the years and has quite a history. I think someone even sold used cars there at one point. Then it got defaced. Graffiti all over inside and out, the insides completely trashed. Yeah it may not be much to look at but only a handful were built back in the 1960s..and we got one of em :)

This place was a bit difficult to actually figure out how to see. I drove past it before I figured out how to park, there is a pull off right in front of it that you can park at but it isnt paved. Overall it is worth seeing, an abandoned space ship in the middle of the country. There were several people looking at it when I visited but I was able to take some photos. A fun thing to see on a lazy weekend.

Yeah it s a neat little place but it needs some love. The grass is way over grown and you can just tell that no one really takes care of it or even takes the time to make the attraction nice. Couldn t find any owner information, their website isn t helpful, to ask about taking pictures because of the no trespassing sign but it s clear people ignore that sign and take their own pictures

The Futuro House! Such a super fun little stop along the road. It looks like a flying saucer but is/was actually a portable ski chalet! There are not too many left standing in the US. It comes up quickly. The grass is tall and there are TONS of spiders and bugs. I was definitely not brave enough to go inside but a gentleman stopped while we were there and he totally wend inside!

I think is fun to see if youre driving by but nothing espectacular to make a special drive just to see it, its deteriorated, theres a little driveway and first thing you see is the sign of not trespassing which evidently any of us (the visitors) respect, LOL... What a roadside gem! Easily accessible on the side of the road. NOTE: In the past week or so it seems, they have put up several No Trespassing signs as well as signs that it is being video surveiled. A camera can be spotted on a nearby sign post off to the left of the house. Also a panel of plywood is covering the steps of the house to discourage entering it. I took a couple of snaps but didnt stay long.

Its pretty cool for the historical value. Yet its pretty dilapidated. Wish people would have just left it alone instead of tearing up the interior. Also someone put led strips on it recently...but after a close inspection the wires connecting it to a power source are ripped out. Also there mass debris behind the structure. Yet it was still fun to take photos at the location.

My brother and I would walk over there and play in it all the time!. Ive wondered where it went, and now I know. So glad others can play in it like we used to.
