I am not sure how to contact the owner but maybe this will get your attention. For years your pizza pasta and meatball subs were a family favorite. I am sure the economy is part of the problem but the food is now really bad. Much lower quality ingredients and unfortunately it showes. Please change back to your old recipes even if prices go up. As it is now I cannot stand to eat there and it makes me sad.

The food advertised, as you read it, is that and then some! We had spaghetti and marinara sauce that had a wonderful background flavor of basil, delicious, great after flavor, and the lasagna practically melts in your mouth! Absolutely delicious!!! The garlic knots are tasty and light! The service is really good as well and definitely family friendly and definitely family owned! They take great pride and what they serve! I was delightfully, surprised about the flavor of the spaghetti marinara, as well as the flavor of the lasagna, but it is also well above the average in flavor and the size of the lasagna was monster size! And there are no leftovers! For dessert, try to tiramisu, it s quite creamy and a good coffee flavor! You must comment taste for yourself! You will not be disappointed in anyway! Vegetarian options: Try the spaghetti marinara or the baked ziti! and of course, the tiramisu!

Pasta was put in the bag very sloppy I had to go back inside and ask them for a bag after making it to the store expecting to be able to pay by card and discovering I have to pay by Zelle or Cash App if I dont have cash. THANKFULLY I had both apps but when I ordered over the phone they did not mention this OR that there is a fee to pay with the only options they have available. They were all very rude about the fee and I would not have gotten the pasta if I wasnt starving and exhausted from work. The food was good, I may have went back despite the mess in my car from all the pasta sauce if they had mentioned the fee or waived it for a first-time customer unbeknownst to their payment methods.

Zukos is by far the best Italian food in the DFW area, period. Their pizza is out of this world great. We have been ordering from them for almost 5 years now, and I havent bought another pizza anywhere else. We have tried almost everything they make and enjoyed each and every bite. First time here - the food was excellent. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs, Italian sausage, chicken picatta, and salad with blackened chicken. Garlic bread came with entrees and they were good; we enjoyed all of it. Hubby said the sausage was some of best hes had. So, pleased with taste, pricing and portions. Will definitely order from them again. One more thing, they do not accept credit cards!!

Food wasnt what the reviews gave. The stromboli wasnt what I was us3d to nor looked like a typical stromboli. Way to much bread, but they gave a good amount of topping. Still 2qs a bunch of air inside. Seems more focused on it looking/being big than quality. Strawberry cheesecake slice was tiny and bland for 5 dollars. Honestly wish I would have just ordered Dominos, if your thinking of trying it and its new to you...maybe have a backup plan.

I ordered from Zuko s pizza in there driver backed up into my mailbox made me $2000 worth of damage and left and I called them and told me that there s nothing they can do about it. He gave the insurance to the police and he don t even have insurance coverage and they re not even calling me back to try to resolve this. Beware of ordering from them.

Zuko! A Rowlett Classic, still going strong. I grew up enjoying Zuko when we lived in Rowlett. Now that my office is in S. Garland, if I m ever needing to get a Pizza, there s no question where I m getting it from, as it s a short drive across the lake. I can t believe I waited this long to try Zuko s! Side note for referencing: I grew up in Garland and my go to pizza place was Sali s. This is a hole-in-the-wall version of that place. And honestly, probably better! #1 - kind service. #2 - generous portions. #3 - had no room left for my salad. Called my order in for pickup. Ready within the allotted 30min window given. We ordered the spaghetti & meatballs, a build your own Calzone, house salad, and TWO pieces of tiramisu. The guy brought the box out to my car - I saw the tiramisu and was like - this is NOT a shareable item - went right back inside for another piece! My calzone was HUGE. could easily eat on it for 3-4 meals. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his spaghetti, who also had plenty of leftovers. Garlic rolls were delish; Soft & warm with the perfect amount of seasonings. Can t wait to try the pizza and pastas on future visits!

The pizza at Zuko is quite tasty! Moving here from Chicago where the deep dish pizza is exceptional, its been challenging to find a close match-but Zukos pizza is a closer match. I usually get the Mediterranean pizza and add crumbled Italian sausage-soo good! Thanks to my daughter recommending Zuko, its now my go-to pizza spot! During the 1980s I worked with a guy who grew up in Canarsie, a section of Brooklyn, NY. He taught me how to eat a slice of pizza by folding it in half from the center of the crust down to the pointed end. I have been eating New York style pizza this way for more than 35 years now. Zukos makes the best NY pizza I have ever had in Texas, though I had to actually go to Brooklyn to find out how great it can be there. My wife and I love doing salad and a slice like we did last night here. They only have four tables so most of their business is delivery or take out. They dont take debit or credit cards, but you can use Zelle or CashApp payment apps. Like I said, the food is wonderful and so are the people there. You will feel like family immediately. Just do it.

This is my first time ordering from Zuko s pizza and my family and I are overly satisfied! The crust is cooked to perfection. They even customized the dough for me because I like a little thicker crust. It was delicious, You won t be disappointed! The calzone was amazing as well!

Calzone subbed out to pepperoni. Lots of ricotta and mozzarella. Feels very much like a Long Island, NYAmerican-Italian spot. Food was great. So big I could only eat half! Amazing!!

The best pizza in Rowlett for sure! The crust was perfect. Not greasy or overly salty like many other places. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely give them a try if you re looking for something better than mediocre corporate pizza.

I ordered a margarita pizza expecting a traditional margherita pizza with mozzarella, basil and tomato doesn t seem like an obscene request, but their specific definition of a margherita pizza is different ie. chicken, mushrooms, onion. Something to be cognizant of when ordering from this establishment. The manager is not helpful when you try to call back and explain that this wasn t what you intended to order, which is absurd for how much money their pizza costs. Was traditionally consistently good (ordering plain cheese pizza), but tonight s events soured this business in my eyes.

Pizza is good, but the employees are very rude, mainly the girl that takes orders. I don t know what her name is, but she tells me 35 minutes for my order to be ready. She tells me this every time and I end up paying and then wait an extra 30 minutes for my order to be ready. This time I told her I wasn t paying until my order was ready because I always wait 30 minutes extra. She told me OK and it took them another 20 minutes to finish my pizza. I was about to leave until she told me my order was ready. I paid and then when she gave me back my change, she tossed it at me. I figured she did it by accident, but she didn t apologize for it and she turned around immediately started talking to another employee. Her attitude was trash as was she. If you order from this place, count on waiting about an hour for your order to be ready. It never fails to take that long

This is my favorite pizza place in Rowlett. It tastes like nostalgia. The crust is thin and flavorful. It s just the kind of pizza to eat while you watch a campy movie and drink beer. Pizza party pizza. It ain t cheap and it ain t ready in 5 minutes because they stay busy. They don t take cards so bring cash or cash app/Zelle and plan ahead. I d choose it over any chain. Worth the wait when you want that certain slumber party, skating rink 90s pizza.
