Beautiful park in general, but this playground is pretty bad. Good quality parts, but very poor choice of play events. One decently fun rope climbing structure for older kids and one boring train with a single moving part for little kids. No swings, no slides, nothing substantial. And the location is pretty poor too, but there s only so much that can be done about that. If you want to come here for basketball or path walking/riding, this park is fine. But don t bother weaving through the back streets to get here for the mediocre playground.

My husband and I have a 6 month old who is still in a stroller. The trail around this park was perfect for our walk! Toilets: The time that we went, these restrooms were some of the most cleanest ones Ive ever been to at a park! The womens restroom smelled good! Dog-friendliness: So much space for your pups to run around!

It is a very nice little park. But, not very kid friendly...not much for little ones to play on. No slides or swings and the rope climb is very hard on soft little hands. Would be great if they would add just a couple items for playground. Its great for walking and has soccer and basketball goals! Also has a small covered pavilion with picnic tables that would be great for small kid parties!

The bathrooms are Incredibly clean. I was expecting it to be dirty but it was quite the opposite. And the park has so many things to do, it s not just a simple playground. The only thing needed is for the sinks in the bathroom to have a greater water flow

Nice walking circle but limited shade. 1 loop = 1/2 mile. Small kids shaded play area. 2 Soccer fields and 1/2 basketball court. Restrooms. Easy to walk to from Ridgecrest or Dexham subdivisions. Driving, you must turn in by police station off of Rowlett Rd.

The walking path is nearly a perfect 1/2 mile. The whole area is very well-maintained and clean. There are private bathrooms, a small play area, park benches, tables, basketball court, and a soccer field to be able to play at. The whole area is very well done and the trees are pretty. Such a well thought out and clean area, I enjoy walking it!

A nice basic park. Has a sidewalk path that makes a circle you can walk around. Come here with my wife sometimes. Has a playground for children and a grass soccer field. In comparison to other parks Ive been to though I find this one a bit boring. There isnt a whole lot of scenery to look at. Its just what I would think of as a very basic park. Not really any kind of wow factor. Grass also doesnt always seem maintained so well. Good if youre looking for a place to go on a short quiet walk. There wont be a whole lot to look at though. No water, no big trees, just a plain sidewalk circle.

A good place that we like to take our dogs for a goid walk. Most if the time, there are few other people there so we enjoy a undisturbed stroll. Nice sidewalk for my wife, who sometimes needs to use her walker. Would be nice if the other people who bring their pets , would also pick up after them. Help keep it clean.

My toddler son has his soccer practice here on the open fields. I didnt notice any goals so the coaches have to bring their own. There is a very cool covered playground designed for ages 5 to 12 but I believe it is fine for younger kids as long as they are monitored. There is a set of restrooms but they are blocked off for an unknown reason. You can see the DART train pass by which is pretty neat. This park is really hidden away and has great potential. There is even a couple of covered pavilions that could be rented out for an event.
