Underwhelming. Sushi is not as good as competitors, neither are the noodles. There are better places to go to. Don t waste your money. Sushi Go if you re into sushi is much better for the price. Golden Pot for Chinese is much cheaper and better tasting.

We absolutely love coming here! The food and service are excellent. We were seated quickly, and the waitress was friendly and attentive to our drinks. I highly recommend the hibachi and sushi menus! Everything is delicious and tastes fresh. The hibachi chef was very good and kept us entertained with his tricks and jokes. Fun show and everyones food was perfectly cooked and delicious. All ages are welcome, including young children, very family-friendly. The prices are typical for a steakhouse, so be prepared. Very clean and spacious inside. They know how to celebrate birthdays here. The staff sings Happy Birthday and gives the customer a delicious dessert to celebrate. Very sweet and fun. We will definitely be back! Great place and fun time but please stop the HEEEEY and HipHip HORAY yelling with the kids! It completely ruined our adult family dinner. i understand kids want to have fun at parties but this isn t Chuck E Cheese, there are adults wanting to dine here too and unless you want to run them all off, come up with other, quieter ways to have fun please. Went here for hibachi and it was awesome!! My dad s birthday was celebrated and he was sang to even though we didn t t request or tell the host. We arrived before the crowd and were seated immediately when our table was complete which was very much appreciated. My mom doesn t even like shrimp and she liked the shrimp here! Evan and Luis did an excellent job and the sukiyaki (marinated beef if I didn t get that right) was awesome! We sat with a fantastic family. We will definitely be back with the whole family, thank you so much for having us!! 11/10 we will be back again!!

We met our friends here on Saturday night at 7p with no reservation and were seated quickly. There was another delightful party of 4 dining at the same table, and we had a great night!! The food, the service, and the atmosphere was all wonderful! Our steak was cooked perfectly, portion sizes were large and they happily accommodated my request for double yum yum sauce. My husband said the we wished he d ordered double lobster, and our friends enjoyed the sushi as well. I thought I d seen all the hibachi tricks, but the pac-man was a new one to me! The fried rice was well seasoned, not overall buttered and not too much soy sauce. The scallops were huge and tender. We could see the lake from our table which was even nicer. I can t express how great of an experience we had. I want to start by saying my husband and I have been to countless hibachi places over the years as this was one of our favorite dates. However, two years ago I was diagnosed with several food allergies that have made eating out extremely difficult. We ve been to hibachi places recently and they always serve me from the back (which I totally understand) but when I called to see if this place could accommodate my allergies for a birthday dinner they checked the books and invited us to a true hibachi experience where they did the full cooking show for just the two of us. They were all so kind and accommodating and the food was delicious! I will be coming back with large parties and will recommend them to anyone who will listen. Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate my dairy, wheat and egg allergies while doing a full hibachi dinner.

We have eaten here many times over the past 4 years. The food is always tasty, and the service is great. Many times, a manager will come out to check in on us. If there are issues or requests they take action immediately and often over deliver :) Vegetarian options: They gave a great vegetarian hibachi entre (you can get this option without the show). I add tofu on it and ask for no egg in the fried rice. I also ask to replace the salad with an extra miso soup since the sauce usually has cream (this is for vegans)

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised. Our Red Hats DDD group held our monthly birthday meeting at Tokyo Hana. They have a nice big room overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard. The food was delicious. Sushi, amazing. Service was excellent. Manager, Amy, came to check that we were taken care of and orders correct. We went as a family for a birthday. It was a win. A place you can take kids for a meal and keep them entertained. Three generations and we all had fun. Portions are large but you can share, and theres a kids menu. Good food, a funny chef who interacted with everyone at the table, ending literally with a bang as the crew serenaded the birthday girl with a song and a drum.

My daughter and I dined here last night. It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were both amazed and pleasantly surprised. We were impressed with the food portions and the taste and quality of our food. We ordered the Call Me Devil (cooked sushi roll) and it was amazing. We both ordered Dinner Combination A (me: Shrimp Tempura and Chicken Terriyaki, her: Shrimp Tempura and N.Y. Steak)...all melt in your mouth amazing!! The additional items that came with the meal (grilled vegetables, tempura vegetables, gyoza, etc) were also very flavorful. We only had one complaint: the tempura sauce did not taste traditional...instead it was sweet and tasted more like the terriyaki sauce. We will absolutely be returning!!!

They have definitely put some work in since it was Kyoto. They have a clear theme, and they now offer karaoke hibachi, which personally I think is GENIUS. Cant wait to get a group together for that!! We had the Japanese Mini Eggrolls. They were delicious, but would be better served with a sweet and sour sauce, as the duck sauce was pretty bland. I had a basic California roll (split with husband), because I wasnt hungry. I wish I wouldve ordered more, because that Cali roll left me wanting MOOOORE. However, we were in a hurry. Sushi was great. The two dinner entrees were just ok but lacked salt. It took so long to get our food. Then as soon as we got it they started closing up while we were still eating so lights were being turned off and people were cleaning around us. It took two different people for us to get the rice that came with our food. The first person said they forgot and proceeded to only bring one bowl to the table. Then the next waiter had the audacity to ask if we still wanted the additional rice, soup and salad that CAME WITH our food. Um DUH I want what I ordered. Who asks that? And also why would the first person only bring one order of rice? Was I supposed to share it? It took about ten minutes just to get the additional rice and salad. Then the waiter proceeded to only bring out one tiny bowl of soup that was halfway empty. I didnt even bother mentioning we were still missing one more soup. Overall it was a really bad experience. Especially since it was my first time. I paid for an item I never got and had to continuously ask for my food. Not worth it for the prices they charge. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!

This place by far has the best food Ive had eating hibachi. Lots of time it can be just okay but they season the food so well. Ive been here 3 times and they didnt disappoint. I just think they can be a tad better organized for their pickup/take out, dinning and hibachi guest, they seem to still have issues when they have a full house in the entry way, not addresing how they can help you for those with reservation. 2024 Update: My initial review was prior to 2024 and at the beginning of the year 2024 they recently added the roll I requested on DoorDash and included the sauce. I noticed on my own and came to update my review then saw their comment. My delivery order was perfect. I was thrilled and am very please. Thank you! We are regulars since this is our favorite sushi place. I would have given it all 5 stars. But the service is a bit slow. And they always seem to forget the mango sauce for my rolls when picking up takeout. We like to dine in sometimes for a nice date night. But I wish they had their mango salmon avocado roll on DoorDash, Ubereats, etc. because they said that is not a regular menu item. I always have to ask for it. I would love to give them more business through DoorDash but they only serve my roll for dine in or to go. I have called multiple times and they said they will ask the kitchen or supervisor, why it is not on the delivery options for the DoorDash menu. Then they tell me they will get back to me, but of course they never call me. Otherwise would highly recommend this place! Been here twice and food has been good both times. Like that we can make reservations, so we didnt have to wait. Our waitress had a great attitude. But once she left it always took awhile to see her again. We needed refills and got tired of waiting and asked the person that brought out our food. And before our food came out she asked was I ok with chopsticks or did I need a fork. I told her Im not as cool as my husband and would need a fork. She brought soup and salad out. If you go to this restaurant and expect to get a Japanese Hibachi experience, be sure to ask if the cook knows what he is doing. We have been going to this location before it was Tokyo Hana. My wife and I took our daughter, 3 yo grandson and son in law out for my daughters birthday. It started off great. They took our orders and after that it went sideways. The cook was wearing a facemask (none of the other cooks did this) and was quiet with virtually no hibachi show at all while cooking! The other tables were cheering and laughing at their cooks while we were just watching him go through the motions. Also, he got 2 of the meals totally wrong. He didnt have the meats for 2 of the people wrong. He brought out the same meat for 2 people who had different meats ordered. We didnt say anything at the time because we didnt know what he was going to do with each dish. He finished his cooking, and off he went. We complained and they listened but didnt offer any reasonable explanation. They said he was new and from a different place or something. Also, we told the waiter it was my daughters birthday and they completely forgot until the end of the meal. The cook never said a thing. We go to a Japanese Hibachi Restaurant for the experience and they price the food with the cook experience included in the price. They never acknowledged any issue and we were extremely dissappointed. We will go back but will be extremely careful upfront about expectations and I would make sure you do the same thing if you want your moneys worth. Management was worthless.

I don t know why there are 1 stars reviewers but this family owned business is doing a great job of hiring good employees and the filet mignon and scallops hibachi was so delightful plus my Lady Amy Rolls with added fresh salmon was to die for! Highly recommend this place I will be back.

I heard good things and really wanted to live this place but it just fell.flat for me. The two rolls, Tempura and Cajun came with fried components and were not fresh at all. The fried shrimp and crayfish I side were stale and chewy. We got all 3 rolls before we received appetizers. That shouldve been our red flag that the rolls were not going to be fresh. Not up to par.

Ate here 11/17/23 with a large group. My husband and I received raw sukiyaki. I eat rare meat on a regular basis, but asked for medium rare. The strips of meat were placed as a ball on the hibachi stove and stirred briefly before serving. I didnt pay much attention until after the cook left and I started eating. I realized 75% of the thick strips of meat were cooked medium rare on one side, but raw (more than blue rare) on the other side. The cook said it was his 2nd day, and maybe he wasnt joking. Sides and other familys food were cooked fine and not particularly special. My husband who worked in the food industry for 7+ years noted that the room we were seated in smelled like a deli kitchen that hadnt been cleaned properly in a while and was concerned by it. The waiting room also smelled like a stinky bathroom someone tried to clean with bleach. Husband said the bathrooms smelled worse. Staff were friendly though and we didnt have these issues when we went here last year, but still we wont be returning.

Table of 4, went on a busy Sunday evening and was sat almost immediately. Water was brought just a minute after we sat, with our ordered alcoholic drinks coming shortly after. I much prefer Soju over Sake but both were good, but quite expensive for the amount. $18 for about 12oz is significantly higher than what I have paid at Korean hotpot or bbq. The largest complaint is the mismatched timing of food coming out from the kitchen. We had 2 plates of sushi, 1 plate of Seasame Chicken and 1 plate of Beef Yakisoba. The sushi was out within probably 5-10 minutes of us ordering, and the seasame chicken was out about 15 minutes after that. The beef yakisoba took the longest and was out 30 minutes after the sushi was brought to the table. Everything was delicious, no complaints about the quality of the food at all. Our waitress was so nice and kind and truly a pleasure to meet. We will definitely return here again and do absolutely recommend Tokyo Hana!

Amazing place to go either on a date, with family or friends. We celebrated our nieces birthday, and the two chefs that cooked for all of us (40 people) were super friendly. We were greeted and treated with courtesy. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and well proportioned. We highly recommend this place. We will be going back again!

My family of 7 visited Tokyo Hana this evening for my daughters birthday dinner, and we had an absolute blast. Great local hibachi restaurant. I come here frequently, as its convenient and the food is delicious. They have pretty much everything you want when it comes to Japanese hibachi. Of course have the dinner and a show with the hibachi table... If thats what you want. Otherwise there are also booth tables for a quick lunch which includes typical Japanese fare. As well as a lot of great sushi rolls.

We ve been here before and always enjoyed it. That continued with a great experience last week. Jametrious was our server, and she had great knowledge of the menu and was very pleasant, always smiling and happy to help us. Evan (or Evans) was our chef. We have been to just about every restaurant of this style in the area. I had been hearing this place was the best so we finally went. Why in the world did we wait so long?! It is the Best jalapeño crab appetizers and huge compared to everywhere else! We shared a few standard rolls and the steak and chicken hibachi lunch. Finally, fried rice that is actually fried rice! Had seasoning and scallions and egg like it should. Oh, ask for hibachi hot sauce, yum!

Picked up lunch take-out on a Wednesday afternoon. 15 min estimated wait was only like 10 (I didnt call ahead. I ordered on-site).. Happily they were open at 11, the same time my appointment ended so I was happy to stop-in. Food was good, filling. Small portion of steak. Upgraded to fried rice and they included a lot, good amount of veggies. Will ask for extra sauce next time, would have liked more. Take out containers were packed well, nothing spilled. Soup was hot and in-tact. Didnt get chopsticks (I didnt ask, we have a bunch at home) but they did include utensil packets like a fork, spoon, napkin. Plus extra napkins. Also ordered a dumpling gyoza appetizer and it was still perfectly crispy after a 25 min drive to my house. $50 plus tip for two steak lunch specials and an appetizer was pricy for lunch that we wouldnt normally do but a nice spontaneous treat after an appointment. #treatyoself We have eaten here in person as well as take out and happy with both. Just didnt have the time today to sit for a meal. Will be back!

I love coming here and sitting at the bar! The overall atmosphere is nice, the service provided by the manager Matt is always exceptional, and the food is always fresh and delicious!
