My husband and I planned a double date with some friends, we had an amazing time at Painting with a Twist! Jenn was fantastic funny, engaging, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We went for a double date, and it was an absolute blast. The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack was a perfect touch, and the classic hits toward the end had everyone in a great mood! We even requested The Lovers Lament, and they delivered! We ll definitely be back!

My daughter, grandson, and myself attended a session painting a Starry Night inspired blacklight painting. We had a BLAST!! The instructor was VERY helpful, as well as fun and encouraging. The music playing was fun -- several painters were singing along while painting. :-) If you dont have much artistic ability (like me!), its a great way to hang out, and the instructor makes you feel like you really CAN paint! The blacklight aspect of this and other paintings offered is really fun... and when youre done, they turn on blacklights so you can see your painting under them!! SO cool!! We even took pictures with and without the blacklight. We will definitely be going back, and Id encourage everyone to check it out. It doesnt matter if you have no talent in this area at all. Its just a LOT of fun in a different venue!!

I brought my grandchildren to paint during their Spring Break. They had never painted before and because they are both relatively young, they were a bit reluctant but the teacher did a lot to ease their fears and assure them there were no mistakes. When it was over they were so excited at their pictures and we already asking me when they could come back. I love coming to PWAT and now my grands and I have something we can share!

It was not my first time joining these type of workshops and I am not a beginner but dec 26 Allison, the instructor was not even on time, after 2h we were not even close to be done, she had a very poor time management and was not helpful to guid us how to paint. She would say Just a few words and would start painting herself in silent. It was my worse experience. Basically no guide! She also did not tell/do sprinkle of white paint as snow on the finished paint like the reference picture. Everybody was painting on their own, and was so shocked how different is her finished painting with the reference! Plus I booked online and have my confirmation email, after being asked my name 3 times , have been told they dont have my name in their list for for some reasons! I would not join to this location again or at lease with the same instructor.

I hesitated almost a week to leave a review because I really dont like leaving negative reviews on public forums. We were scheduled for a Sunday 6-8pm class. I received a text message around 1pm that the class was being canceled, but we could join the 3-5 class and still have the same painting choice. We chose to attend 3-5 instead of canceling as this was a Christmas experience gift for my 10 year old niece. Upon arrival, I was told that this was basically a follow the written directions off a piece of paper class. Three of us inexperienced painters used a piece of paper with the assistance from the 4th painter - who happened to be an art major. Our (and I use this word lightly) instructor spent 80-90% of the class time in the back of the building cleaning up from a previous class and doing who knows what else. I know this was not a typical PWAT experience - Ive been doing this with friends and family for over 10 consecutive years. It is only because of my past positive experiences that I will return. Perhaps not to this location. But I am not giving up on the thought of competent employees showing up for a job and doing it cheerfully.

Instructor spent more time on her computer than actually leading the class. I ve done at least 10 of these and instructors are always helpful, organized, and thorough. I was excited to have a night that I could bring my kids and encourage them to take an interest in painting. Their biggest reservation is that they do not know how to paint but I ensured them that the instructor would be there to guide us. Well that just did not happen. I basically paid for the supplies and set up because we were pretty much on our own. I would have appreciated more instruction. She even told us to paint the mushroom cap orange/yellow and the class had to correct her. Not sure what that was about. She seemed more distracted with getting ready for her next event. Even though this was an easy Mario theme for kids, my goal was to boost their confidence with instruction. We could have just done this at home.

Great experience. Jen was our art teacher and I give her 5 stars too. Her instructions were clear and simple and she was patient and encouraging with everyone. She also allowed us to choose our main color because she knows how kids always ask for their favorite colors. Per my 9 year old, It was easy and it was fun! . She offered to take pics of each of us, standing on the stage/step with our finished painting. Its a relaxing and fun way to spend time with your kids (especially during a summer heat wave, in the air conditioning)!

Had so much fun at this location...my mom wanted to come here for her 73rd birthday ( she acts 45, lol) We were able to bring food, cake, drinks, balloons..everything but candles. No need to really have a private party. They have enough tables for you to decorate your own little party space. We booked the 7pm slot on a Saturday, and our instructor was so laid-back. I highly recommend this location.

Hosted an engagement party for my sister-in-law. Teacher was very fun, patient and helpful to those who struggled - due to alcohol. All around, you dont have to be an artist to do this. We had 4 people attend for the paint your pet class. The instructor, James, was fantastic. The difficulty level for this class is a little high, because everyone paints a different picture, but James managed to spend enough time with each of us and we left with fantastic pictures of our pets and very happy!

Absolutely the best time! We went for my sisters birthday, and it was so fun. It was an open studio night and we got to pick our painting. The instructor Diane was the best! Ive been to several different painting studios and this studio and instructor have been my absolute favorite! Diane was so sweet and personable, she made the experience for us! I don t know who our instructor was but I did not enjoy myself at all. Maybe that s just my perspective but it s still a perspective. She went extremely fast at the beginning and didn t communicate very well. It was hard to hear her as she began while other people were getting checked in. She barely greeted us when we got there and when she finally settled in to teaching she wasn t clear about when we would need to change out water, asking if we had questions, slowing down, just felt like we were being rushed the whole time. And when she wasn t teaching she was at the desk watching videos on her phone. Not really impressed with the quality of the class or the instructors. Didn t seem like they cared at all or wanted to be helpful. Horrible experience.

Our instructor Zandrea was very fun and helpful. My friends and I had so much fun!! This is my first time to paint and I felt so fulfilled after our session with Zandrea. We are already planning our next painting session.

This is always a great choice when looking to entertain out-of-town guests or reconnect with family and friends. Requires zero talent and youll leave feeling very accomplished. Best part of all? Making a beautiful memory with those you choose to share this time with! Bonus perk? Very inexpensive This was my 5th time but my sons 1st. What a blast!

Love coming to paint here. Went with my son and it was great bonding time. Our instructor was Awesome. Her name is Z She did a great job and was very nice. I would recommend you try it. Great thing is u can go with anyone of all ages!

I was very pleased with my night here. They were very nice and accommodating. Our teacher was so motivating, knowledgeable, and essentric. You could tell all the staff enjoyed their jobs and it was an over all wonderful experience!! Thank you especially to our teacher she was just so sweet

The on staff management was rude. Not my best painting with a twist experience! I did send an email and a lady responded in a timely manner. She was apologetic. Still wish the staff would have been more understanding and polite. (They drew with a stencil on the canvas, not at all what I expected. This was actually the first time they had ever done it. I have enjoyed a few 10+ paintings in different studios. The management got really upset when I requested a new canvas.) I was able about a month later to redo the painting. Probably wouldnt attened or host another at this particular location.

We went for my moms birthday. It was a lot of fun. Definitely plan to do this again. Dana was our instructor and she made it super easy and enjoyable. When I couldnt get my tree going, she helped me along. Their website has all the information for reserving spots. Couldnt recommend more.

Friendly staff as well as professional. There were several people painting with us and no one was left behind as we were provided step by step instructions on how to create our masterpieces. We laughed our way to art work as its finest. Nothing like sipping on a cold one while feeling like your fingerprinting in kindergarten all over again. In the end you look at it and think. Ah. Not bad... Good times

This place was SO much fun!! My mom and I did a wood cutout and they turned out so cute!! Our instructor was HILARIOUS and super helpful!! If you didnt want to do something the original had on it thats fine. He was totally fine with you making it your own.

Had so much fun! I am so glad my family and I decided to come to Painting with a Twist! This was are first time here and it was great, lots of laughs, and enjoyment with my family painting, I will be back. My sister has a wonderful birthday and we all did unique paintings that looked great. James Tigh is a great professional painter who is patient and very helpful when needed I highly recommend a class with him teaching it.

I want to start off by saying this place is the most relaxing carefree place I have ever been to and that is simply because the customer service is on point. Now I havent worked with a lot of the artists here ( Im sure they are amazing) but the two I have worked with is Gary and Danna. Gary is so vibrant and sassy and Danna is a gentle soul that makes you smile for no reason, she makes you want to keep coming back. I have been coming here since January 2018 and both Danna and Gary has changed my look on painting and having a creative mind, to also stick with what you have because it can be beautiful in someone elses eyes. Anyway, I will wrap this up, but I just wanted to share my life-changing experience in coming to this Painting with a Twist.

Decent instruction but the painting was the worst I ve ever seen in a Paint and Sip.. I would give it less stars for over all experience but this one beats the one in Arlington by leaps and bounds! Out of all the paintings this company has you d think they d pick a better one for their mystery painting ??

So much fun! Leslie was extremely kind hearted and understanding, even when it started storming halfway into our session! Her painting skills are great, and she was so helpful when helping us fix our paintings when they went a bit wonky. Also painting and drinking is a wonderful combination :D
