My wife and I had the olive oil and garlic dipper (fantastic). I had the Chicken Marsala, and it was a uniquely delicious version. My wife had the pasta sampler, which she truly enjoyed. The dining area was clean and spacious, with a very appropriate ambiance. Our server was extremely helpful, and oh, so friendly. This was our first experience at Luigis, and I promise it will not be our last.

Our first time to Luigi s the garlic knots they bring out were tasty just wish they would ve included marinara sauce, that is extra. The penne pomadoro I got was just okay the sauce seemed very runny with no flavor. The other plate was Luigi s special which had more flavor the sausage in it had a good kick to it. If we went back probably won t get the pomadoro.

I cannot say enough good things about Luigis! Our birthday celebration was absolutely fantastic. The food was exceptional, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding service we received. Lucas, our waiter, was incredibly attentive and personable, going above and beyond to make our night special. Every dish was prepared exactly as we ordered and the flavors were simply amazing. Luigis has become a tradition for our birthday celebrations, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience!

This is absolutely my favorite pizza place around here. I love the cheese they put on it. Its NY style pizza with a thin crust. We normally get the Special (Supreme) pizza and a cheese or pepperoni. They do not skimp on the toppings. Its always delicious. We love the garlic knots that come with it as well.

I enjoyed my time here. It was my first time in. I have seen this place on the side of the road many times as Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite places to go. I stopped by here for lunch and I tried their shrimp alvino which is large shrimp in butter, garlic, lemon, white wine, and marinara over linguine pasta. It wasnt too much food or too little and I felt Satisfied by the end. Im very curious about their pizza so I do feel like I will be back. The interior atmosphere is very cozy, it does look updated which is good, no checkerboard red and white tablecloths here, they have nice white arches and nice glossy Brown tables with various statues and flower vases throughout. It looks like they have a small bar area and the restroom seemed clean. Overall I was very comfortable and the food came out very quickly. They do have lunch specials which are under $10 so the prices were very reasonable, I just tried an entree because thats what I felt like ordering.

We went here for my husbands birthday dinner / date night. This was a great experience from start to finish. We had originally intended to go to Texas Roadhouse, but the 45-minute wait was just ridiculous, so we hopped over to Luigis. We were able to be sat immediately upon entering, our server was incredibly attentive (our drinks were never less than half-full), and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

Food is great, just a little loud, and they grabbed my plate to pack it up before I was actually done eating. It kind of felt like they were rushing us out to turn tables over... With that being said... try the Chicken Dino - absolutely amazing!! Got the cannelloni for an appetizer, and it was superb!! My wife had the gnocchi, and my illustrious dad had the lasagna - both were very pleased. Cant wait to come back and try more of their amazing food!! The only disappointment dad the pizza - slightly chewy or rubbery and flavor was just okay. But the marinara was delicious. And we loved the meatball casserole with loads of mozzarella!!

We have been going here for years to celebrate family birthdays. This time will be our last. The salads appeared as if they had been out in the heat all day. Wilted lettuce, curled wrinkled tomato. The food and service was outstanding. Our waiter was speedy, friendly, kept drinks full, and was humble when we gave him a compliment. It seems that everyone here works as a team and it shows. If I had one thing to give criticism on, it would be the side salad had a single slice of tomato which was weird but easily not a big deal in the overall excellent meal. My fiancée and I went to a few spots to try pizza to figure out where we re going to order for a small wedding we re going to have later this year. A hometown treasure! I grew up in Rockwall and have been coming here since I was a young teen and it started in the old Pizza Inn location. My (now) husband and I have come here for many dates through the years. They catered my rehearsal dinner 21 years ago. I have many things I like and order here, but my usual is lobster ravioli with alfredo. It is SO GOOD. Their house made alfredo is perfect, and I think they know its us calling every time because we order many things substituting alfredo instead. Food is always pretty quick. Service is always good, and as regulars we are greeted personally. As a large family, theres a high risk that something is going to be wrong with our order anywhere we go. In the 25 years Ive been coming here, I think only twice has there been any sort of mistake with our order, and one of those times...it actually wasnt a mistake; we ordered an alfredo for dipping and thought theyd forgotten it. The next day, we found the alfredo at the bottom of the bag of bread that we hadnt fully unloaded. Womp womp...perfectly good alfredo just because we hadnt fully unloaded one of the bags. We order to-go and dine in both regularly and service and food are consistently good. We like getting their pizzas for parties because its always a hit, goes a long way (especially double cut) because its filling and toppings are generous. Weve turned several people on to Luigis after serving at a gathering. Atmosphere is family friendly and relaxed. Its not a romantic restaurant persay, but they do have some cozy booths that are more tucked away and intuitively seat there when sans kids. If youre new to town, visiting or just havent been to Luigis in a while, theyre as good as ever, and you should go!

My dining experience at Luigis Italian Cafe was a major letdown. The seafood pasta I ordered was a sticky, flavorless mess - the noodles were too thick, the sauce was overwhelmingly creamy, and the scallops were tiny and unimpressive. To add insult to injury, they charged me $15 for a bowl of clam chowder that was just as lackluster. We have been going to our favorite family owned Italian restaurant for 23 years. Our kids went to school together back in the day, and they are a awesome community member and business owner. As usual, we are late night diners, which is great because they stay open till 10 pm. I forgot to take pics of our food this time but will update you on the next visit. The wait staff are very quick and will immediately come for a drink order. There is another staff member that will bring a gorgeous basket of warm homemade garlic rolls. My usual go-to meals include chicken genovese, which is a seasoned chicken breast with angel hair pasta in a creamy red sauce or pink sauce. I also enjoy the pasta dish that is called the works, which is a meatball, sausage in a meat sauce, and mushrooms with spaghetti pasta. This is seasoned perfectly and is a wonderful filling dish. I will usually get a side salad to eat with the garlic bread while waiting on my entree. The bread will keep coming quickly and drink refills offered throughout the meal. Their wait staff has always been top notched in my 23 year experience of dining . They also have a delicious variety of pizzas in different styles. If you dont see it on the menu, ask, they can make just about anything Italian. They have plenty of parking with upfront Handicapped parking with easy accessible ramps to the front door. It is easily accessed from Yelow Jacket Lane or South Goliad. They are closed on Mondays. They do accommodate large groups and have a room they can make for private events. I highly recommend this Rockwall community staple serving our community for years. I support locally owned businesses to support our community and make my choices to help our citizen business owners.

5 stars well deserved. Celebrated my daughter s birthday here. The staff made my daughter feel special. Thank you for that. The service was exceptional. I ve never had service this good. Staff is truly what makes this such a great place to go, and I mean servers and cooks because whatever magic theyre doing needs to be studied. The food is amazing, Luigis Special is my all time favorite with the bread pudding. Super quick to be seated and if you absolutely have to wait its always short (10 mins or less) Parking: So much parking youll never have an issue. Wheelchair accessibility: A massive front ramp and well placed handicap parking with good secondary parking right next to it allowing easy use of the ramp.

First, I wanna start off my saying our server, Lucas, had the best customer service I ve ever experienced. He nicely answered and explained all of our questions and recommend some of the best appetizers on the menu and they were all delicious. Second, God, the food was to die for. My mom ordered the meat lovers pizza and let s just say, clearly someone can out pizza the hut. My dad and sister ordered the tortellini and you can just taste the richness and effort in the sauce. I ordered the Pasta Sampler and I could only take a few bites because I was full of the buttery glazed garlic knots and the rich orange dipping sauce but OH MY GOD .. words can t explain how GOOD it was. The cheeses, sauces, and richness all blend together like one big creamy pasta dish. I haven t had any food that genuinely made me feel happy. My husband and I had planned to eat at a previously visited restaurant and on the way saw Luigis-we turned around and decided to try Lugis instead. Luigis did not disappoint! Our server, Dillon, was outstanding and the additional wait staff were attentive as well. Update again 02/04/24: Went to eat my leftover pizza and one piece had tomato sauce on it (I specifically order this type of pizza because it has no tomato sauce) and the other took me a solid 10+ minutes to pick off all the sun-dried tomatoes I had requested be left off. After heating it up, I found a few more pieces. This is the most theyve ever put on (I ate it with them before I knew tomatoes were a problem) --- Im seriously disappointed. See pics for how many were on the pizza that I specifically asked for them to be 86-ed, as well as the slice that has tomato sauce on it. Update 02/03/24: We still love Luigis, but tonight was a bit of a hot mess. We asked for water with no lemons, both came out with lemons. Annoying, but not a big deal. Next, we ordered a pizza with half Caprese pizza, but I needed the sun-dried tomatoes left off because I am sensitive to them. The pizza came out with tons of sun-dried tomatoes on it. Our server apologized, which was nice, but as I picked them off, there was no offer to have it remade (I wouldnt have made them do it, but it would have been nice to have them offer). I only have a food sensitivity to tomatoes, not an allergy, but its still kind of a big deal and the restaurant should take those kinds of things seriously. Our daughter ordered a side salad for her meal, but we had to ask for it 3 times. By the time it came out, most of us were almost done with our food. In Luigis defense, they did remove the salad from our bill. The restaurant was very busy, so we tried to give some grace. But our server even said something about our mozzarella sticks not being all the way done (we thought so as the cheese wasnt stringy when I cut in it half --- a mozzarella stick. Lol). But again, nothing to really take care of the issue. We still like Luigis and will return again, but our visit was disappointing, for several reasons, tonight. ********************************** Luigis was fantastic. This was only my second time there, but the food was delicious and service was excellent. Definitely a place to come for great Italian!

Luigis left much to be desired during our recent visit. The pizza was disappointingly wet in the middle, making it impossible to pick up. The lasagna arrived partially frozen in the middle, and the manicotti lacked any notable flavor. Service was equally subpar. After our food was served, our server was notably absent for over 20 minutes. When we finally got her attention to address the issues, a simple apology was offered, and she walked away without any attempt to rectify the situation. To top it off, the check was presented with no acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. We left 70% of the food on the table, and needless to say, we wont be returning to Luigis. A regrettable experience that does not align with the positive reviews others have given.

Place order on DoorDash and along with my 65+ dollar order for two I order a side salad. There was no prompts to add an extra 2oz house dressing so l placed the order. I made a catering order for my daughters birthday party, and the food was delicious! We ordered the lasagna and tortellini. It came with plenty of salad and bread. Plus, the salad dressing was so good! My party guests loved the food!

First time here and absolutely loved the service and the food was even more amazing. Went inside to pick up an order and the wait staff were extremely friendly. While I was waiting I was informed on the time it would take to be out and I wasnt left waiting. Got the food home and was blown away by the delicious meals that were prepared. So far in Rockwall, this is hands down the best Italian restaurant here!

By far and above the best place Ive ever eaten. And Ive been everywhere from Maine to California. Ate at Trump hotels in Vegas. Etc. The food, the service, everything is amazing. Caesar salad is the best youve ever had. Chocolates mousse. Stuffed tilapia. Even the bread. Wine selection is great. But above all, the service. Everyone is super nice and ultra attentive. Even the table cleaners will go out of their way to help you. THIS is how you run a restaurant.

Awesome quaint Italian spot, good place to take the family. I went there with my wife and our newborn son for our first meal out as a family. A wonderful older couple sitting behind us paid for our meal and told us to cherish every moment. Brought a tear to my eye. Server was great and food is always awesome!

I ve been going to Luigis for years. They have several locations one in Quinlan. Royse city, and Rockwall. I prefer the location in Rockwall, but they all have the same great food. The staff is always wonderful and I have not tried one dish I didn t like.

I ordered Shrimp Diavolo. Ive ordered many times, but this time it was so spicy hot I couldnt eat it. The first thing I ate off my plate was of course one of the delicious shrimp. It was so good but quite spicy and it didnt have much sauce on it. When I ate some linguini it really almost choked me it was so hot. I told my waiter and he offered to bring me something else. Everything was great until he brought the check and told me he was told by the owner Mario, that he had to charge me $3.00 for the shrimp I ate!!! Are you kidding me???? I know that it will not make any difference to him, but the pettiness on his part will keep me and everyone I go there with to never enter Luigis again.

Ever time I go here, I m so happy when I leave! I ve tried almost everything on the menu over the twenty-plus years I ve been visiting, and nothing is less than wonderful. Nice restaurant with classic Italian decor. Pretty extensive menu, pastas pizzas, chicken, veal, and some seafood dishes. We were served hot garlic knots, with butter. Chewy, yeasty, and delicious. I prefer seasoned olive oil with this type of bread, but real butter does well, too. I chose the stromboli from the lunch special menu, and my friend chose Chicken Carchovie. Both offerings were generous portions well prepared, served piping hot. We were both pleased with our choices. Our server, Hunter, was attentive without being intrusive. He was also very helpful in choosing deserts and boxing our to-go items for us. I will definitely be visiting Luigis again.
