Being from NY and now living in NJ I have to say I didn t know what to expect for a Chinese takeout in TX. But I have to say the food was good. I ordered the shrimp with broccoli w/ extra sauce, shrimp egg foo young, Szechuan shrimp and chicken wings for me and my family. The gravy for the egg foo young looked suspect as it was very loose/watery but it was really good. Just not thick like I am used to. Everything was good. And the portion size is very generous. Reminded me of my favorite Chinese restaurant growing up in the BX. Family owned-the husband/wife/son team was so nice and friendly. We all called the wife mommy. Don t judge this book by its cover (the outside) or deter you. Just Order the food. It s really good and the lady who takes the orders was very friendly.

Just ordered Uber eats. The sweet and sour is very runny. I ordered beef fried rice. The rice tasted old, like it had been sitting for a couple of days, maybe it would have tasted better if it was fresh. The fortune cookie was old, it didnt crack it bended all weird lol. I wouldnt order again. I am trying out different Chinese restaurants in my new area to see which one deserves my business and I know exactly what iam looking for as far as taste goes.

I ve always ordered from this place through Uber Eats, however today was the first time I used their website and ordered online for pick up. My issue was that from their photos it shows 2 egg rolls under each pic. However, when I went to pick up the order the lady told me that only the spring rolls come with two and that for the egg rolls it s actually just one single egg roll which is fine but they need to clarify that on their online menu because it s misleading.. and they lady seemed to have an attitude when I brought it to her attention.

We door dashed $130 worth of food. We thought we would have leftovers for two days This food is not EDIBLE. Nasty. Every dish! Nasty. The food was amazing. We went for lunch and it was very cheap, yet great quality!! I got the sesame chicken and it tasted like real chicken and fresh. My friend got the sweet & sour chicken and even had leftovers to take home with the amount they serve him. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful, definitely coming back soon!

I Attempted to order food over the phone and the lady taking the order kept trying to tell me what to order. Their online menu and the lady taking the orders were not on the same page regarding the Dinner special menu and which entrees were available. Initially, for 3 meals she wanted to charge us $80+ dollars but could not explain why. Eventually, 30 minutes later, and 4 phone calls, they were able to correct the order and the cost. I will say, this used to be a good place to order food from but with their price increase and the lack of good service it will mostly be our last order. 20 years of ordering from them to this...

This restaurant is our family s go to place!! We have a bunch of picky eaters who want Chinese food but still not Chinese food! China Taste has ALWAYS made our food exactly how it was requested regardless of how many requests are made! UPDATE SO DISAPPOINTED!!! They changed the online format recently and my order was delivered wrong! To top it off it was delivered 5 minutes after they closed so even though I called within a few minutes of it being delivered all I got was a voicemail that I couldn t leave a message with!! Couldnt find the restaurant so I called to ask where they were located. I got there inside with my family told that they dont have dining available. The inside of the restaurant looks like a storage facility just full of boxes. I dont have and experience with their food so I cant speak for that however, I wish that when people were calling to find their location that they would inform them that they were not open for dining. It would have saved me a lot of time. Also, there was no sign on the outside of the door stating that they were not open for dining. That would have also been helpful.

Wouldn t recommend this place at all. We order General Tso Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein. General Tso chicken had no chicken and it was just fried breading in sauce Lo Mein had no flavor. Completely understand food costs have risen, but always take care of your customers even if that means raising prices. I m sure everyone would pay for better quality.

So the lady took my order 30 min before closing and said they did delivery.. it s now 20min after they closed they took my money and I never got my food!!! I places an order totaling over 50 dollars gave a tip of five to the driver. The food was undercooked and mostly tasteless and the worst part was I sound a piece of metal from a scouring pad in my food. The delivery time was amazing. I did not enjoy the food whatsoever and actually ended up disposing of it. The spring rolls I ordered were really doughy which means they were undercooked. The vegetable fried rice was over cooked and lacked flavor. The vegetables were not sautéed and were also flavorless. The noodles weren t flavored either. I am used to better Chinese food than I experienced here and I will not be going back. The customer service is amazing, though.

Really saddened to say this was the worst chinese food I have ever eaten. General Tso was petrified (had to spit out evert bite) and the orange chicken was almost as bad. Plain Lo Mein noodles tasted like they were cooked in old fish oil. Mixed veggies plate for our daughter was soaked in soy sauce/oil... couldnt even give it to her. Bright side? I placed a big order...kids sweet & sour chicken (okay) Sesame Chicken (grey meat, undercooked batter) ChoCho Beef (fatty/stringy) Fried Crab Cheese Wontons (doughy/undercooked) & Vegetable Lo-Mein (absolutely no flavor & broccoli gooey) I rarely & I mean rarely EVER call to complain but I spent $40 and more than half of the food went into the trash. The Owner literally refused to do anything about it and wanted to come to my house & go thru the trash to see if I really threw the food out...Are you kidding me? Never, ever again.

This is an excellent restaurant with wonderful food and nice people. It has a nice Chinese theme and all of the dishes I ve tried here are very good to excellent. Came in for dinner with my mom. Wasn t greeted at all lady just said what to drink? We answered and she walked away without saying anything else. Brought our drinks and left without saying anything. Decent food. There are better options out there, but if convenience is what youre looking for, it will do.

Had a mix up with delivery but it was my fault for ordering the wrong thing i work next doors at rooms to go I came back to fix it and they didnt hesitate to help me out I think the ladies name was Edith? Or something like that but they helped out and got my right order I feel like they care about customer service good job!

I mainly get delivery and it always comes pretty quickly and is always hot. The food is the best Chinese Food around. Have tried many different items off of their menu, and I love the Orange Chicken. Their soups are delicious too. So glad I live near them.

The food is always great and the service is awesome. Primarily a carryout or delivery so the dining area is usually not busy at all!

We have tried them all. By far the most consistant in taste, quality and service. Delivery is always on time and fast. We always buy extra to eat later in the week. A few issues with the wrong wontons. They tend to send the ones that are not fried. So I would pass if you want fried wontons, or dont be surprised if they are not fried. This by far is some of the best Chinese we have ever eaten. We order every week!
