Extremely disappointed in the service here. We just moved here and were looking for dinner, and saw a special on their website for $10 burgers for today only (picture attached). We only decided to go to the restaurant for this special. When ordering, we mentioned this to the waitress and she seemed confused but said she would double check for us. She didnt, but we figured she just hadnt heard about the deal - so when the manager came by to check on our meal we showed him the website and mentioned the deal. First he said oh that was just on the 27th. Today is the 27th! Oh that must be old from last year. Last year June 27th wasnt a Thursday. Finally he said that theyre changing website domains and its just wrong. We wont be coming back. False advertising that could have been fixed simply by honoring what their WEBSITE SAYS. For an $18 burger you can do a heck of a lot better than this place. Go down the street to Oak & Main or Jack and Grill... much better food & service for a much better deal.

This was my first experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation because I wasnt sure what it was going to be like on Fathers Day. The entire time we were there the waiter seemed like he was too busy for us and he didnt seem to have any other tables. I understand if there is a period between breakfast and dinner, but if you cant provide good service you should close. It took forever to get drinks, service and food. I ordered coffee and got something awful that tasted like tea. I tried for coffee a second time and just gave up and got an old fashioned. It was good. My daughter ordered steak and eggs, $22 and that must have been the toughest cheapest most chewy piece of steak Ive ever ordered at a restaurant. The fries and my potatoes were decent. My eggs Benedict had English muffins that must have been stale because they were very difficult to cut. My feeling is if you want a drink its probably a good place to go, but if you want good food, there are much better options in Roanoke.

Haven t been here in years and decided to again. The food was so good we had the short rib flatbread and the steak and frits. Drinks were good. Only thing is that every single thing took sooooo long. And it was dead! I swear our waitress took 30min to touch our table all night. I also asked for an extra dipping sauce and never got that. Super sad honestly everything was good except service and it shouldn t be that hard especially when the place is barely occupied.

Great food but service was extremely poor when I was there today. It wasn t busy and they had plenty of staff but it still took 20 minutes after ordering for my beer to arrive. Then while I was waiting for my food, I saw a server coming out of the kitchen with an order of fries. She ate a few from the top of the cup and then delivered it to a table a few of the other servers saw it happen but didn t seem surprised and didn t do anything. Don t support a restaurant that allows this kind of behavior from its staff.

We had been here once before about a year ago to meet a group of friends. One of my friends had been there several times and said she loved it. We had a good time, but nothing special. My friend said that they were off their game a bit, but that typically the food and service were a lot better and asked us to keep it in mind for the future. Fast forward to last weekend. I decided to give it another chance and thought they would be on their A game for Mothers day. WRONG! The service was buffet style with extremely basic offerings. They had stations all over the restaurant and you had to walk through a maze of people to get to the food. I went to the meat station and they had no meat, one serving of Salmon was about it. I asked the guy in charge of the station if more meat was on its way and he just shrugged his shoulders. The person in charge of the Omelet station just disappeared and never came back. We were left with scrambled eggs, a pasta station and desserts. Over $50 per person for what turned out to be a Continental Breakfast with fancy desserts. I spent the rest of the day apologizing to my Family for taking them there. I do find it interesting that all the good reviews are over a year old and all the newer reviews are not good. Obviously, something has happened here, and not for the better. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. There wont be a third chance.

Use to love this place however If you go to the Roanoke location seems as if they have abandoned hope in it and moved to Plano. I have ordered out several times and get different results each time. however what is consistent is having to lead the hostess on the phone with what goes with each order, then to be left without a price or time for pickup. This time I arrived and the hostess pointed me to the bar to pickup (this is normal) however the packaging is everything thrown into a box. I order the pancakes and the farmers breakfast. I received two orders of pancakes and a single biscuit and no gravy for the farmers breakfast. Hope they can bring just a small amount of focus back to Roanoke.

So, overall I cannot give this place five stars. We went today for brunch. Was going to rate 4*, but at the last minute I just dont think it can justify that. I will start by saying that our server gets 5 stars. The rest, not so much. It was my 45th birthday celebration lunch/brunch. First things first, this place has pancakes with chocolate chips which will definitely satisfy kids desires. Made reservations, as we were not sure how busy they would be at Sunday brunch. After our experience, the answer is not very. And, not that theres anything wrong with that, because the food was actually really good, but there is a complacency that comes in the service industry when a place is not that busy. I think this place is struggling like a lot of places to get business on a Sunday. Post-COVID, things have just gotten weird in restaurant biz. We showed and were one of 4 parties in the entire restaurant. Our server was awesome. She actually did everything: from drinks to food to bussing other tables of the one or two parties that were there before us (and we got there at 11:30). But, because our server was busy doing other peoples jobs (I counted eight staff members that were there, over six of which were holding up walls). My wifes napkin roll was dirty: The napkin was visibly soiled and the knife actually had dried up food particles on it. She asked for a new one and was immediately given one that was clean. My daughters chocolate chip pancakes did not have chocolate chips in them (one job). Thankfully we ordered a side of bacon which she completely inhaled before she got the pancakes back. The Croque Madame sandwich was awesome. The avocado and salmon toast was awesome. The omelet was missing avocado. Just the little things that are very noticeable in a restaurant that doesnt have a lot of business (not a lot of A-game participation). Wines and beers were great. Overall we will be back, but I think we will try a time when they have more business. Prices were very fair for what we got. Given that condos around the restaurant go for $800k (in effing Roanoke for goodness sake), the costs here are very reasonable given the crazy rent they probably have to pay. 30+ wines and beers on tap. Pretty neat concept.

We had a table at 8pm on 04/14 outside and our waitress was extremely rude. She was older blonde hair and couldn t be bothered. She made it seem like she didn t want to be working and we are not difficult people but today, she made it hard to celebrate our friends birthday in peace. We got food orders 35+ minutes after we ordered our drinks and sat down and she rushed us at the end knowing it was the restaurants fault for being late on food because our reservation was at 8 and we sat down at 8:20. We actually told the front lady it was okay because a few people were running late so we were being very accommodating because we understand humans beings are running this operation. When one of our guest asked for a glass of wine, she made a joke and said I can t serve you you re cut off and then said I ve never said this before I don t know why I joked about it and Profusely tried to apologize because we didn t get her joke . She also cleared glasses that were half full and never bothered to check in with guest to see if we were done with our drinks. She clearly knew being a party of 8 she was going to get her tip anyway so decided to be rude no matter the consequence. I will never go back to this place and will never recommend craft and vine to anyone I know. Expensive product but tacky experience. 0/10.

Went to Roanoke location tonight for a birthday celebration since we had liked it before. With a reservation we were seated quickly but that seemed to be the end of service quality. Though our server was nice we hardly saw her. Drinks for the table took 10 minutes, food much longer than needed, got an apology for that...but food wad less than stellar. Steak was very salty, ribeye was very over cooked, over seasoned and tough and other meals just blah. Oddly the only winning meal was a hamburger. It seemed that the servers were far too interested in the happy hour crowd. Also took 10 minutes just to get our check to us. Sadly disappointed and wont return.

I wanted sooo badly to love this place. We spent $200 for 3 mediocre entries, 1 charcuterie board, 2 amazing drinks, and HORRIBLE SERVICE! The waiter got our waters right away then disappeared for over 20 mins. which would have been understandable if the place had been packed but we were 1 of 5 tables in the whole restaurant at the time. The mixed drinks (classic old fashioned and a caramelized pear martini) were GREAT but we had to go to the bar to order them ourselves since our waiter disappeared. The real disappointment though was that food was underwhelming. The hanger stake was poorly cooked (some parts over and some way under) and the side of parm fries was basically in-n-out fries with some grated parm on them. The salmon was only ok...it lacked seasoning and it only came with a 3 slices of tomatoe and 1/2 of a sliced avacado.

The fries were undercooked, totally pale and floppy. I had to send them back. I will say the cocktails and charcuterie are still good but C&V has changed for the WORSE. Where did the good chef go?? Who s in charge? You ruined a perfect restaurant!! Do better! At least bring back the old Nashville slider.

Usually we love this place which is why we chose to go for Valentine s Day. We had a reservation at 8. We didn t have to wait but we were sat at basically a 4 person table where another couple was already sitting. We asked to move and they obliged. We had no idea there would be a pre fix menu. We were so excited for the regular menu. It took about 45 min for the first course to come out. It was cold, not even luke warm. Cold oysters Rockefeller gross. We sent it back. They ran out of the soup so they subbed with chicken tortilla which is really filling. They forgot the bruschetta course and we had to ask for it. The entrees were not even good. So disappointed in everything and the worst part was, it cost $300!! It wasn t even busy when we were there and they appeared to be completely in disarray from the kitchen to the wait staff. Very let down and will not go back.

This has been one of our favorite spots for years for a great atmosphere and nice time. The food last night was great. First time trying the Ribeye which was delicious and crab cake was loaded with crab. Our only feedback is the sandwich trio slider has been our favorite for years and we would order all the nashville hot chicken sandwich which is the best ever had. It is clear this appetizer got reduced in size quite a bit. Also, some of the cocktails like bourbon glasses got smaller. Please go back to the original sizes. The prices at the restaurant are already above average and are worth it, but the portions shouldnt change.

This was my first time coming, but the group I was with had been multiple times. I was really disappointed. It has the potential to be a really cool spot, but we were the only ones there and it wasnt until we about to check out that anyone else showed up. And you would think being the only patrons in the restaurant, you might get your drinks quickly, but we waited more than 10 mins. They were also out of three of the drinks we tried to order. The food is good, but pretty expensive. And I felt like the menu didnt do a great job explaining what you were actually ordering. (One person ordered a salad thinking it would be an entree and it came out as basically a side salad with a side of goat cheese and three crostinis). Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator

Quality is in the details, and there was no attention to detail at Craft and Vine. Cocktails and beer glasses soaked the table (and our sleeves) with condensation - no coasters or cocktail napkins provided. Parmesan truffle fries were served at room temperature - the grated cheese didn t adhere and fell off the fries into the bottom of the bowl. The chicken sliders were dry - overly breaded and just thrown onto the buns with 3 slivers of pickle. But the worst offender was the (non)risotto. In lieu of the traditional creamy dish, Craft and Vine risotto is served as a block of overcooked rice that had absorbed the aromas from the appliance in which it was cooked. Adding insult to gastro injury was the bill. Our server overcharged us for our drinks.

My husband and I have loved Craft and Vine for years but this last year it has steadily declined when it comes to the quality of the food and the overall service. Our server was sweet, but did not seem to completely know what she was doing or anything about the menu, which easily could have been overlooked or chalked up to maybe being new. However, we went for brunch and were not told when we were handed menus that half of the menu was not actually available. On top of that, we were given a gluten free menu that was actually the dinner menu, and also not available at this time. The food was way under the quality we ve grown to expect, but the same completely unreasonable price, all things considered. The atmosphere is still amazing and we re so sad to be so disappointed, but we ve given the food and service too many chances at this point hoping to love it like we used to.

I had never been to Craft and Vine before so I didn t know what to expect. We had a reservation but it took the hostess some time to figure out where to sit us. When we were sat, the hostess moved our water glasses by picking up the rims of the water glass, first mistake we sat against the window and the frame of the window was dirty and had several dead flies. Our server was very helpful but I don t feel showing us the chefs specials should be done by showing a picture on her phone. I chose the Mediterranean special but had NO idea it had fish. I was expecting what I saw in the picture not quite the same, I will say the food was very good. The server was very attentive. I then needed to use the bathroom, I was shocked in a restaurant that is trying to have ambiance it has failed . The bathroom was filthy . The entrance to the restaurant definitely needed to be vacuumed . I was quite disappointed especially when the food was good.

We don t know what the food or drinks were like since we could not get anything to eat or drink. There s a very nice wine place we found called Three Vino a short walk up the town, where we enjoyed a couple of glasses of good wine. Why didn t we get a drink or any food at craft & Vine? It was about 5:30 on Saturday (yesterday) and we stood at the podium in the entrance, just outside the elevator. We were thinking we might need to wait to be seated. Nobody came. No eye contact, no acknowledgment from any of the staff at all. We moved inside and stood in at the bar hoping one of the two bar staff would say or do something, then walked further into the place and took seats at the tables by the fire (a nice fire that is a window to outside - obviously not burning since was hot weather). We sat for ten minutes with menus though, again without anyone taking interest in getting an order, so then we left. Businesses pay a lot of money to market/advertise what they offer. I don t think we ve seen anything promoting Craft & Vine recently but we were there, at it, inside it, wanting to spend money but could not. They just didn t seem to want to sell or take our money! I ve been before with other friends and enjoyed it a few times in the last year. Maybe they were just too busy. It did look busy. So a cheap visit for 15-20 mins total, $0 cost, that s why we left!!

We ve eaten at CV many times! This was awful! The experience was not aligned to our normal experience. We invited guests in for Mothers Day only to find out the day before the menu along with the kitchen staff had changed. It took our food almost 3 hours! Our waitress Mattie, was great! We were disappointed the menu and much of the restaurant experience had changed.

I had heard a lot about the restaurant, and really was excited to try the place. The building aesthetics and layout was really nice, but apparently they had just made a change to the menu and kitchen staff. It really showed in the food quality. We weren t sure where the falloff was in expediting or kitchen management, but definitely a let down in expectation and quality. The staff was very slow and responsive. Change is part of everything, but the management and execution of the recent change fell short in every way

We had a reservation for 5 for Mother s Day weekend. They were unprepared for our 6:30 reservation and hastily tried to push two small circular tables together. We asked for a different table and they instead seated us at a high top table. Our waitress was great but the food we were served was awful. The Mezze board was disappointing and not worth $50. It took another hour to get the main course, which was borderline inedible. The salmon was over cooked and had zero seasoning while the double chicken tasted like soap. Really disappointing overall.

The atmosphere was great, but I will say that the patrons did not match the vibe of the restaurant (workout clothes). The food was delectable, but extremely expensive. We also brought our daughter (who ordered the basic Kraft mac-n-cheese), but we walked out spending over $150 for two entrees and three drinks. Our service was great, as a final thought. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids meal, but I would not suggest bringing children here.

My wife and I usually receive good service at this restaurant (not great service but good service) until today. We have dined here many times on Sunday after a movie at Cinemark Roanoke. We have seen their Sunday brunch advertised and saw a movie earlier enough to arrive at the restaurant about 2:20pm. Their Sunday Brunch is over at 3:00pm (we re there 40 minutes before Brunch is over). We were told that Brunch was over and no food was being served until 3:00pm as we are watching them cleanup a buffet of food from an earlier party. We told the waitress that Brunch was scheduled for another 40 minutes. We were told again that we would not be served food until 3:00pm and then silence. We were amazed by this and won t be back. We dined at Inzo Italian and had great food and wine.

We were searching for a last minute date night place and this was a great find. Even though it got busy later on, we still had privacy and a good time. They have a rich variety of beverages and meals, especially appetizers. We absolutely loved the deviled eggs and wings. The tacos need some more flavor. The waitress, Sydney, was so attentive and kind. The restaurant has one advantage over other Roanoke locations and that is being situated on the 3rd floor which provides its guests with a spectacular view.

Not sure how this place gets all the 5 stars. Yes, for Roanoke it is nice but I m so tired of the over salted, small bite sized over priced food. This is one of those places. Appetizers are small and difficult to share. Had their $35 redfish plate (which btw is a white fish) and 80% of it was grey - yes the gross bloodline under belly that should be discarded if serving a white fish. Took it back and 2nd piece was about 70% ok with about 30% still being grey. Eat this fish all the time and buy to grill myself at central market. I know what it s supposed to be like. They serve it blackened most likely because it is not fresh and what better way to hide freshness than to blacken something. Nice atmosphere but Just disappointing for the price.

Worst dining experience of my life. The wait staff and hostess were absolutely amazing but management really let us down. We made reservations for New Year s Eve a few weeks in advance and nowhere did it indicate that the menu was going to be a set menu that night. Not a big deal, but we have been several times and were looking forward to getting items off their regular menu. Set menus are fine but they were out of EVERYTHING. They were out of the salad, filet (1 of the 3 entree selections), their signature whiskey infusion, champagne (this was supposed to be included in the meal/menu), even wine/champagne glasses. They ended up replacing our complementary champagne with cheap white wine served out of beer glasses. Not only were they out of nearly half the menu options but the food was bad and lazy. It was obvious several courses were pre-made and sat for a while. Appetizers came out ice cold, meat was undercooked and the tiramisu for desert was just mush. Worst of all, the price for this comical and nearly non-existing meal was set at $70/person. We had friends drive all the way across the metroplex to have NYE dinner with us and are extremely embarrassed to have taken them here. The amount of times our server had to apologize was sad. It was not his fault that management did a horrible job with the menu.

Asked the server for a drink and gave her my ticket, she told me I would have to take it to the bar, when I took it to the bar I was told to give it to one of the servers. I went to the restroom and heard employees say make sure they dont steal anything. I was so offended hearing their conversation. There was not alot of people there eating dinner. Management/servers were unproffesional. I was getting hungry and asked a server for a menu, never seen her again. My furture grandson in law had to get it for me. Since I still have my drink ticket, I wonder if I can still use it. It was paid for. I would give a negative number if I could. I would not recommend this venu for even a 1st birthday party.

My first & possibly last visit here was at my sons engagement party this past Saturday 10/29 that turned out awful. I hate leaving this review because I know upper management or owners could never approve of the treatment we received so I m leaving the review so they can understand how the manager Tye is performing in their absence . They charged our host $1000 s for the space, a few trays of cheese , & 25 drink coupons & our dinner was to be paid separately. The manager Tye would not let us sit down at the tables & order. He kept pushing our party into the corner to one table that we did not fit at. We all took turns sitting around the table & went home hungry because he would not let us order our dinner. We tried to order a soda & a steak but it took 4 request & 45 minutes to get the soda so I m glad she wouldn t take the steak order, We had 2 waitress for about 40 people & only one of them would take orders. The the bar informed at least 8 of our guest that I know of that manager said we could only order from the party staff . Therefore they were refusing service as well. It was sad to be sent home from a restaurant hungry. The manager presented a balance over $1300 to our host & informed her they called the police to have us leave that we could not stay for dinner. She sadly paid this bill & we all left peacefully & confused. I know her law firm can assist her in speaking restitution but if her I were her I would charge the card back until they are ready to get my bill corrected with an apology for Tye ruining my family s dinner party.. I can t speak to the managers character so this not personal but he clearly does not have the skills to manager a restraint. I m sure the real management or owners would not have appreciated loosing the $2K+ that we spent across the street without reservation. That staff accommodated us with ease.. on a side note the chop shop across the is well ran & got us served so quickly

We were there for an Engagement Party. First, they didnt have enough waiters. I was there for 3 hours and most of us were not able to order more than 2 drinks. They wouldnt let us order from the bar. Then, at 9pm we were told that we couldnt get anymore drinks and sent us our bill. We were charged, at first, for drinks that never came. No problem, the waitress took it off. But they forced us to pay 20% tip. The problem is that they didnt change the 20% from the new amount. So we ended up charged 33%!!! I also found out that the woman who was throwing the party was already billed an over $200 tip. AND THEN... As soon as they got their money, they called the police to escort us out! The manager never even asked us to leave beforehand. To this point I still dont know what the issue was. We ended up moving the party across the street where they were happy to support the young new-to-be married couple and their friends and family.

The one scoop that arrived was about the size of a large cherry tomato. The waitress was very pleasant. The speed and efficiency were lacking . We sat at our table at least 15 minutes with no menus. Food came timely. Leave salt, pepper and sweeteners on the table. This solves having to wait yet again for items. Seating yourself means no one knows when you arrived or which sequence to serve the tables. We will probably return and hope for better service.

Service was slow, I mean ridiculously slow. It took an hour to get drinks and even longer for the appetizer. It was not busy, maybe 10 other patrons in the whole place. I actually saw our server just sitting down at a table eating while we were still waiting for everything. Magically when we asked for the check our 2nd order of fries was ready and boxed up in minutes. They had a bunch of TVs with just no service images on the screens, maybe just turn them off if you cant put something on them? Also the bathroom was horrible. Clearly no one was keeping up with anything. I stopped on the way in and it needed help (only 1 out of 3 stalls usable because of no TP and a clogged toilet). I told the bartender the ladies room needed some help on my way to the table and she asked what I meant. I told her the specifics and she said ok. 2 hours later nothing had been done. It was actually worse. By then they were almost out of paper towels and all the ones they had you could tell had gotten wet and dried out.

Some of the best food and drinks you can have in Roanoke. As the name suggests, they have plenty of beer and wine options for you to enjoy, but they certainly dont slouch on cocktails...they make one hell of an Old Fashioned, and have plenty of infused bourbons you can try with it (or just try em neat or on the rocks if thats more your speed). The food also doesnt disappoint... definitely try the tempura deviled eggs if you need a small bite. For entrees, I gave the Amish Chicken Schnitzel a go, and every bite was perfect. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful, jumping to assist you with every need. Our server Mackenzie was extremely familiar with the menu, and was constantly checking on us, even as the restaurant got packed. If youre in the area, this place deserves a visit (or three).

This place is more of a cocktail lounge. The lounge is on the 3rd floor with not much of a view of anything. However, the lounge is very relaxed with big windows. During happy hour only appetizers are served along with a variety of drinks and beers. I opted for the wings and the deviled eggs. The eggs were battered and topped with the regular filling, tuna and caviar. Very good! You get 4 in this appetizer. The crispy wings were off the chain. They were traditional buffalo flavor with a smoke flavor added. And yes they were crispy. Some of the best Ive eaten. Id give this place 5 stars but certain foods are only available at certain times. Appetizers are made for only one person and so I recommend two appetizers if you want to share. Overall, I definitely recommend this place.

Talked to the hostess, said she d send someone over and no one ever came. The manager walked by and spoke to other tables but never looked my way. Went next door to Los Compadres and had a wonderful experience.
