My husband brought me here for my birthday last week and we had a nice time with our family. Good food and our waiters switched out halfway through and then service was very fast. My only complaint was the queso, which just tasted like nacho cheese from a can. Other than that, we had chicken quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas more and everything was great.

Nice place. Very lo-key. Meat quality was very nice, but definitely needed some seasoning. A little salt made it better. Margaritas on point. And very kind of the bartender to offer some tastings of their tequila selection. Definitely going back.

We had a party of 6. Five men one woman. They sat us in a horseshoe booth that wouldve been comfortable for 4. One of our party had to sit in a chair in a main asile. Food was tasty (Al Pastor Tacos, Chorizo queso). Chile toreado and grilled onions was a bonus. Tomatoes used in salsa tasted canned. Service was good.

I came here last weekend because it was the only restaurant open on a Sunday at 9pm, and I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Ambience was great, food was delicious and the drinks were really good too. We had the enchiladas, mixed fajitas and a 5 layered dip (can t remember the exact name), everything was very tasty. I can t wait to be around Richardson and come back!!!

We went to this location from a recommendation from a friend. We went for lunch and arrived at 12:00. We were able to get a table right away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chips were good, I did not care that much for the salsa, really mild, would have like it better if it was a little more chunky and hardy vegetables. I ordered the Chimichanga with Beef, it had good chopped up pieces of beef, not ground beef. I would have liked it better if you could get a different sauce on the top. The rice and beans were good. They did keep are glasses full as well as chips and salsa. Will try again if I am in the neighborhood but will try something else next time.

I had brunch there. The prices are really good. Happy hour is long, from 11am to 6 or 7pm. My Moscow Mule was only $7. Steak fajita salad was $12. The waiter was super nice. It was just slow. The slow factor was nobobodys fault. We went at a super busy time. The fajita salad was excellent!

I went back to give it another chance. This time, they blew us away. The Carna Asada was to die for! And the service was excellent, we felt welcome. We had a view of the bartender, and I watched him creating some of the most beautiful looking drinks, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. And he was using fresh cut fruit and taking great care in the presentation of his drinks as well as the food presentation was beautiful. We will be back many more times. The place was very clean, modern, upscale looking and very comfortable. Give Menas a try, youll be glad you did.

Service really brought this rating down. The food was mediocre at best. Really greasy and standard unappealing food. We got virtually no service. I am very disappointed that we spent almost $100 on poor service and food. The best part was the chips and salsa, which took way too long to come to the table but was the only thing worth going for. Hidden Gem! This place is delicious and has plenty vegetarian and pescatarian options. Salsa and Queso is delicious. You get what you pay for here compared to other places. I got the veggie enchiladas and sub for Spanish rice and added the summer sauce on top which is like a spicy cheese sauce but it s not too spicy to me, it s perfect. I have a quest to find the best margarita and in my opinion the DD Margarita here is the best . You kinda have to know to order it cuz it s not obvious . They have a margarita menu and the DD is on the list. It is a spicy jalepeno margarita with agave nectar and homemade roasted jalepeno concoction . Pretty much incredible. Amazing carne asada. I went in for a quick lunch because a friend recommended it and was blown away by the carne asada. Had mine medium and they served it with this amazing green sauce underneath. The waiter pointed out that they make it home made in the kitchen and how its a favorite sauce of Argentina that pairs great with steaks. You could taste the love and creativity from the kitchen and this dude gave as much service and passion as I would allow for a quick dive in. Ill be back on date night!

Menas has the best margaritas around. I love all of the flavors, especially the tamarindo and peach. I get so excited when we head there for lunch or dinner. The food is great as is the atmosphere. The service is always excellent. Of course, after the margaritas and food, a nap is usually in order :) Parking: Parking is easy if its not too busy, otherwise you have to park in the parking garage. For our main dishes, I ordered the brisket chipotle tacos and my wife ordered the nachos. The tacos were good, but the chipotle flavor was a bit lacking. The brisket was tender and juicy, but I would have liked more of the chipotle flavor to come through. My wifes nachos were delicious. The chips were piled high with cheese, meat, beans, and all the fixings. The nachos were also topped with a generous amount of guacamole and sour cream. My wife said that the nachos were some of the best she had ever had. Overall, we had a good experience at Menas Tex-Mex Grill. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively. I would recommend Menas to anyone looking for a casual Tex-Mex dining experience. We came here for my dads birthday and our server seemed annoyed to be there. He seemed to be rushing us through the meal and made us feel like a nuisance for asking for things. I watched my drink sit at the bar for 10 minutes before he brought it over to us. Food was good but service was so bad that i wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

Our waitress literally had a temper tantrum when she unfortunately made our guac with tomatoes, which Im allergic to. I dont think Menas knows one reason people order table-side guac is to choose ingredients. They dont make the table-side guac at the table. They make it at the bar, out of sight so you dont have any input. Anyway, instead of making it without tomatoes, she had a tantrum and gaslit us. Ive never seen anything like it. Afterward, she did not take our order or anything but continued to give angry looks throughout our entire dinner. In the beginning , I told her that it wasnt her fault if thats the standard at this restaurant, but that did not matter to her. She became unexplainably angry and repeatedly asked us to get the manager to the point we finally just let her get her manager. I suspect that getting the manager is her way of not having to redo the guac. Ill give her this; she was a master at manipulating the manager and gaslighting us, as if we did something wrong. In the beginning I actually just probably wasnt going to have any of the guac but she asked how it was as I was picking the tomatoes out. After she apparently told the manager WE were the problem, service throughout our dinner was non-existent, and in solidarity, no one would serve us. The manager eventually took our order and assigned someone else to clear our table. The manager excused the waitresss behavior by saying, its easier for the staff to make the table-side guac at the bar. He was totally clueless that her temper and refusal to do guac without tomatoes was the actual problem, not where she made it. The fact that Menas makes table-side guac away from your sight, makes it so that we didnt have the input on ingredients that other restaurants always ask for as they make it at the table. It seems like the staff here dont understand reasons a customer would prefer table-side guac over premade guac, which appears to lead to resentment toward the customer for ordering it. This is a problem that comes from the top. Even the manager, who wanted to remake the guac brought it to the table already stirring ingredients. If Id had any input I would have also held the salt because Ive had table-side guac here several times before and they consistently pour an extraordinary amount of salt in it which people in our group shouldnt have, but even the manager prepared part of it before getting to the table. We just went along with it because believe it or not, we literally always try not to be problematic customers. But 2 people at the table were afraid the manager spit in it. When I was a young waitress, I knew the business giving me $2/hr wasnt who appreciated me or paid the bills. It was my customer. I always knew who was really paying me and who was really generous towards me. And if I was training a young person to make the most money, Id say, maybe the low standards of this business say you dont have to include the customer in the table-side guac but, the tips are really your paycheck and the payer will appreciate it. Doing a job right is noticed and rewarded. I realize that the table who orders all waters to drink and wants table-side guac to start might not be what you want, but be patient, your kindness, and doing a good job anyway, will pay off. Try it. Having contempt for the customer is just never successful. People with contempt for others dont find success in the service industry. If you genuinely like people and are genuinely nice, you will do very well. If not, this is probably not the business in which you will find happiness or success. Personally, we regularly pay 25% to 100% tips to servers, but this time we didnt have a server. Something is really toxic with this business. Im sorry Im not supposed to eat tomatoes... Menas did not have to treat me this way because of it. Please work somewhere else if you just dont like making table-side guac. Or maybe Menas should just take it off the menu if they dont really offer it. But dont take your job dissatisfaction out on me, please. Dietary restrictions: Dont assume you can exclude allergens during the preparation of the table-side guac because they dont make it at the table. And as a side note if you are salt sensitive, they put a TON of salt in the table-side guac. My Mom LOVES salt and it was way too much for her.

First of all, the chips and salsa is delicious. Crispy warm and perfectly salted. We come here for the Nachos Al Carbon ... the steak is well seasoned and the cheese and beans layer between it and the tortilla chip is sooooo Good. The nachos come with some guacamole sour cream pickled jalapenos (and pickled carrot slices). We also go the large shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. Its HUGE. The penne shrimp sits in the broth of pico de gallo and tomato juice. Update: still amazing! Add crispy tacos to the list of delicious plates. I ordered for pick up. Fast service and so convenient.
