I like to go when there isn t many people around . Today I had the opportunity to meet the owner Will, it was nice of him to stop and speak. Food - I frequent other spots for my egusi and goat buuuttt today they have won me over . Perfect portion . Goat cooked perfectly and the kick chef s kiss. Service - although I didn t catch my server s name , she was very attentive . I wanted to sit outside because it was such a beautiful day . She cleaned my table right away and always had a smile . Atmosphere- a patio with great music I can t complain , I was able to read my book and enjoy my food . The owner Will, prior to leaving checked back in and said goodbye and remembered my name. Definitely a perfect midday vibe !

10/10 Experience So I finally checked out Fusion Vibes Lounge in Dallas, and let me tell you this place is a whole vibe! If you re into Nigerian and Jamaican food, you NEED to try it. The food is legit fire. I had the jollof rice with suya and some jerk chicken, and wow... just wow. The flavors were on point, and everything tasted super fresh. It s like comfort food with a serious kick. But it s not just about the food. The music here? Amazing. They were playing the perfect mix of Afrobeats, reggae, and some throwback jams. It gives the place this really chill, fun energy, and you can tell people are just vibing. What also stood out to me was how much they care about their customers. The manager is super hands-on and makes sure everyone s having a good time and well taken care of. You don t get that everywhere, and it makes the whole experience so much better. Honestly, if you re looking for a place with bomb food, good music, and a welcoming vibe, Fusion Vibes is it. Definitely adding it to my go-to spots in Dallas!

I ve been driving past this place for 3/4 months , and i regret not coming in sooner , the vibes the food . The service . I had the worst experience at another restaurant yesterday so coming here today was so wholesome!!! Enjoyed our first visit at Fusion Vibes. Awesome atmosphere and great customer service. As a native of Africa having lived in the states for 30+ years, the name of the restaurant says it all; it provides authentic African cuisine with the option of an exotic American establishment. So I usually don t even write reviews but in this case I must. I ordered some oxtails and a side of white rice. I waited about 15 mins to be served 4 oxtails for $22. Which I let go but to get into eating my food and there s an off taste. The bones rarely had any meat that was very tough meat at that. I don t like wasting my money so I just had to share my experience. Some of the oxtails had to be old for ozone of them had a different taste then the others.

Hi there! I had an incredible evening hanging out at fusion vibes kitchen. From the moment we walked in we could tell it was going to be a fun environment. Lighting, loud and soft at the same time creating a perfect hue of purple red and blue. Against the lounge Style seating it s a beautifully immaculate setting for a great brunch or an evening out. Wow, the seating is beautiful. I believe it s an emerald green, plush seating with buttons. It wasn t the comfiest in the world. In order to sit back your legs had to be on the couch itself. And I am 511 and some change. The shorties out there are struggling. The staff was super kind. Very enjoyable and personable and curious on how they can make the experience better for each guest. They were also very clean. We went on a Thursday night and they were playing football. I don t know if there was a game on or if there is something special going on but I would have preferred a show that would entertain but do not necessarily need to watch. It was a Sunday game. This makes sense. For the evening vibe it was just a little bit off and felt too much like a man cave. Now let s talk about the food. My favorite was a lemon pepper wings. Hot juicy, and that seasoning was perfection. I also loved the plantain and rice. Incredible staples dishes, and they did them very very well. I am not a accustomed to Nigerian food but I have had it throughout my life and have a decent taste for the unique flavors. The rest of the food that we had was good and I would give the oxtail a solid runner up award/recommendation. They gave me a fusion lemon drop drink. It was very good but a little too sweet for my personal taste. That s what a lemon drop is though. Then I had a sip of the espresso martini which I thought was perfectly balanced. I just don t like the glass they put it in. It should go in a coupe glass not a martini glass. I had to say the same for the lemon drop as well. It should ve gone in a martini glass not a coupe glass. Overall, the evening was a complete success. We all danced and had a great time. They even brought out an electric hookah! That was definitely a highlight of the evening. The biggest surprise was the owner, Will, giving us some of the spices they make for us to try and explaining the story behind them. I want to give a one last shout out to Will the owner. Everyone could tell he was in love with this restaurant and proud of what he built. He s excited to serve at his community and I genuinely hope we all come out to support him. I would love to see karaoke here and music artists. That s why I would come back.

Great restaurant and lounge! Restaurant is separate from the lounge so you can eat and enjoy your food in peace. Nice bar in the restaurant also. Restaurant & Lounge has an upscale vibe and is a place I can see myself hanging out with friends and family while enjoying some good drinks. The overall customer service was great. Server Queen was friendly and patient while suggesting dishes I should try. She was on point with everything she suggested as I liked the peppered goat dish, the goat pepper soup, the oxtails and the spinach soup. The jollof rice is not the kind I m used to (I think it s a long grain rice) and it wasn t warm/hot but it still had great flavor. Overall, I ll recommend this spot for some good food in an upscale setting and also for some good drinks and music in their upscale lounge next door. Owner Will was great to chat with and I ll be back with my boys this weekend to watch some football and enjoy brunch.

Ordered Poundo-Fufu + Egusi Soup + Beef, Jerk Chicken, and Oxtail. Oxtail was seasoned and cooked beautifully, with a very addicting jerk flavored broth that compliments jollof rice very well. Ok so overall it was ok. I ordered the $30 Caribbean oxtails and jollof rice. First the rice was aight! The oxtails I was so disappointed! No meat mainly bones and not hot (temperature) after waiting awhile for it! Most of my friends ate and ordered chicken and waffles or shrimp and waffles. Maybe Ill order that if I go again. Went to the lounge side that had Sunday Brunch. Music: Is available certain Sundays of the month. Went when they had a neo-soul band and they were great. Entertainment gets 5/5. Food: This is what we all come here for. The Food & Drinks were amazing. Tried a bunch of different choices but my favorite were: Waffles Braised Short Rib (Fall off the bone type) Oxtails Greens Strawberry Mimosa Service: For the service, I would give the server a 4/5 since she didnt check on us as much as I would like. But was very nice and friendly. The owner walked around checking on everyone which was a nice touch. Not sure if thats a regular thing. Atmosphere: The lounge is really nice inside & is def a vibe. The decor is updated and nice. There are lounge couches and tables where you have to eat at. So be mindful of that. Theres an outdoor area thats connected as well. I absolutely will be coming back!

Let me start off by saying our server Mj was really nice! Great customer service and didn t leave us just sitting at our table like the other girl who we spoke to first that gave us menus at the front . When we first came in the girl left us unattended for awhile before mj came but when the oyinbos came inside 25 mins after us she ran up to them and sat them very quick !! Really weird of her to do. We went for a girls Sunday Brunch and had an absolute great time. The live entertainment was absolutely incredible and the food and cocktails were on point. We loved the fusion of African and Caribbean cuisine with Southern vibes. Very unique concept! Our favorites for brunch were the braised short rib glazed with a bbq sauce fell off the bone and was absolutely delicious, the greens, the jollof rice (of course) and the catfish was seasoned and breaded to perfection. My friends and I went to get some food from this restaurant that we saw trending online. We showed up at 10:40 not knowing the restaurant closed at 10. The manager/ owner saw us outside and offered to still serve us 40 minutes after closing! He was so nice and even offered us free drinks for the 5 of us! Found Fusion Vibes on Sunday, August 18th after church service based on an internet search for Jolloff rice. Met the owner who was very welcoming and approachable.The two staffers working the counter were super friendly and helpful. The food was very flavorful and apportioned. This was our first visit to a Nigerian restaurant. We are always looking for ethnic cuisines, we are pleased to have found this place. My wife and I will return.

I made a reservation yesterday morning for an 8pm reservation. The reservation was actually to my surprise was a reservation request, i checked my email as the restaurant sent a confirmation of the reservation request via email that said i would be updated shortly . I finally decided to call around 3pm to see was the reservation accepted or not , someone answered the phone took my name and reservation time and then started talking to someone about their hookah, then i was put on hold with no one to return to the line . I called twice after no answer . I also had my friend call who was visiting from VA, the phone went straight to voicemail. I finally got an email today that my reservation was declined . I was excited to try this place but after all of that I am definitely not interested .

I ve been to both the restaurant and lounge. Both have amazing atmosphere, food, and service. My favorite thing to order is the egusi and pounded yam. I m not big on alcoholic drinks and I tried the drink called the Champion and its was sooo good. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

So I ve been here a total of 2 times this year. Both within a span of 1 month. The first visit me and some friends had a good time and our waitress was nice (the lady with the locs) served us on the side with the cigars and tv coming from the ceiling. During our visit there was another lady with a BBL that kept coming to the table intervening and trying to serve us when she knew we had someone that was waiting on us already. We found that very unprofessional as it seemed like she had something against the young lady with the locs as it seemed like she was doing it on purpose. Second occasion I showed up during GAME 1 of the NBA finals and we sat on the side with the bar and big screen tv, and guess who served us this time? The lady with the BBL. She came to our table and asked us what we wanted, but she forgot to give us menus. After 15 minutes she finally came back to give us menus. She said that she would give us a couple minutes and come back to take the orders. After making eye contact and raising my hand like I was in a classroom she still did not come back to the table she proceeded to help another group of people who came in after we had already been acknowledged by her. Being a patient man that I am, I waited for about 20 minutes and I went to the bar and got her attention and told her that we were ready to order. Her response was, one second. I stood at that bar for an additional 20 minutes just for her to take my order. This is an amazing place but I will not come back or recommend this place as long as that lady with the BBL provides terrible service. She is unprofessional and lacks multitasking skills and should be talked to about giving the other young lady a hard time while she is at work. This is messy and customers should not be able to pick up on this kind of workplace behavior that this lady has demonstrated. Food was great, music was great, but the service from ms. BBL was terrible.

My favorite place for Nigerian food! Came here a couple of days ago with my friend and we ordered the Fufu and Egusi Soup with Fish, Fufu and Egusi Soup with Beef, a side of Jollof rice, frozen margarita, Shirley temple, and the Red Velvet Red Puff Puff With Ice Cream for dessert. Both me and my friend really loved our food and drinks! They give good portions for both the entrees and the sides. Our servers name was Queen and she was absolutely lovely! She taught us how to eat fufu with our soup the traditional way and everything tasted way better after both me and my friend learned. She was super attentive and always checked up on us making sure we were doing alright. Once we finished our entrees, Queen suggested we try the Red Velvet Puff Puff and we didnt know what to expect but we loved it! It was super puffy and satisfying to bite into. Light and crunchy on the outside but super bouncy and slightly dense on the inside. Not to mention the vanilla ice cream it was paired with was very delicious! Ive tried a few vanilla ice creams before but this one tasted way better. I would definitely come back here again. July 4th event w Obi s House: Wrong move allowing Obi s house to associate with the brand in any form. Section buyers were misdirected 3+ times during entry. Obi s House sections were definitely misrepresented as well. Cocktail tables and sections were differentiated during purchases but Sections ended up being cocktail tables with a bottle. See attached selection sheet. Expect heat/low ventilation and management that is pompous and in the business only to milk buyers. Shocking experience for anyone trying to build a brand. Waste of time with family or friends.

Our family decided to try this restaurant because of its intriguing concept, but unfortunately, it didn t meet our expectations. The food arrived cold; I had the oxtails with rice, my husband and daughter ordered the okra seafood stew, and my son had the jollof rice with beef stew. Half of us had to send our dishes back to be reheated. The waitstaff was slow to respond to our requests. While the concept is appealing, the service needs significant improvement. I wanted to love it, but it just didn t deliver for me.
