Update: I did not call and the DJ did not turn it down for whomever did call. That goes to show how many complain. And the drunken loudness wasn t an isolated incident or evening. It s every weekend. For those who live there, it seems it is what it is. Obnoxiously loud and inconsiderate neighbor to the residents of the apartment community it s attached to, blasting music until 2 AM during the week and weekends, with drunk people screaming in the streets., There should be an ordinance against this. It s dreadful and the owners don t care.

Last and final visit: No 1, wings were super dry, LIKE EATING DESERT SAND. No. 2) ordered sauce on the side, because they WERE OUT OF HONEY BOURBON. They gave me dry rub lemon pepper. How in the WORLD do you apply dust to a dry wing?! Pretty sure sauce is a liquid. No 3) server never asked if he could do anything, remake, or apologize, zero words. ZERO. Like a zombie. Cool black Rayban sunglasses at night though!! Ill never be back. Complete trash service. If you are 22 and an idiot, this is your place. Previous visit: Used to tell everyone they had the best wings, but now they are SO SALTY, I can barely eat them. Pretty much gross. Previous time: Requested all carrots with my wings, but received NO carrots. WTH bro?

I just moved to the CityLine area and this is the new watering hole. The staff is very friendly and the food/drinks are fantastic and well priced. The bar has a great pub vibe to it with a nice pool table and an awesome covered patio with games and TVs.

We had the Mad Burger and Philly Cheese steak. They were both tasty, of modest size and fairly priced. We stopped in to avoid rush hour on our way back to Houston/Galveston. Its NOT a quiet atmosphere! Very loud acoustics! Lots of yelling! We had a difficult time conversing. We did enjoy our server, Travis. He made good food suggestions. We liked the outdoor corn hole option. Good location.

My wife and I just ate at the Mad Hatter Pub for the first time and I can t say enough good things about it. We started with the bacon wrapped Jalepenos which were amazing. I had the Club sandwich for my meal with the home made potato chips. I learned all club sandwiches are not the same. It was excellent and the chips were crispy, and not even the least bit greasy or too salty. Our waitress, Shay, gave us fantastic service with the most amazing attitude. The value for the money is the best we have had for a long time. Will definitely go back again even if we just want to stop off somewhere for a drink.

I could not be happier in finding this place. My inlaws live in Richardson, so we visit regularly. We ended up coming here for a date night away from the little one (after she went to sleep). And it was one of the best decisions ever. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is delicious. The atmosphere was so chill. We got the fried chicken sandwich and the sloppy joe. The fried chicken sandwich is one of the best we have tried. The sloppy joe bought back so many memories from my childhood. It was insane. And the brioche buns??!?!?!?!!? I didnt know it was possible to eat a fluffy pillow with the perfect amount of crustification. This is about to be a regular spot when we are in Richardson. Looking forward to coming back already!

After several visits to this bar I decided to finally review it. This is not a bar for people of color or where everyone will feel comfortable. The white male with red hair, beard, and blue eyes that is a bartender is the most uncomfortable to be around. He does this uncomfortable laugh when you speak to him, It s very strange. There are always children as small as infants in this bar which makes it harder to enjoy so I guess the neighborhood part is pretty serious if you enjoy that atmosphere. I most defiantly will never return to this establishment after my latest visit. They do not respect customers that have been loyal and never had previous issues. It s worst than it use to be. That may be because the staff work and play (drink/get trashed) at the same bar.

Great spot with local beers on tap. Outdoor seating so its dog friendly. The Monday hamburger special is a great deal and the burger was really good. I had a slice of pizza as well. It has a thin crust and tasted good. They also had gluten free buns for the burgers.

I guess this place doesn t realize they are in the same building as an apartment complex and plays loud music late at night. I ve called multiple times and nothing has been done. I shouldn t have to hear loud base music past midnight when I m trying to sleep and have work the next day. Guess I ll call the courtesy officer and then after that the police. Because this is getting ridiculous

First time guest and I m here on business. Looking to move to the area in the next year. David greeted me at the bar and introduced me to OG Tony. David was the absolute BEST bartender I ve ever had. Polite, attentive, gave me all the specials AND we found out that we went to college near each other. Recommended the Mad Burger and it was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to coming back because of his hospitality and making this my home bar in Texas! 5 STARS WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Hit or miss. Been a few times. The food is consistent, but typical bar food. If they ask and you tell them that the food is just okay, they will go after you claiming people love their food and rate it on par with high-end restaurants. Good for them. I cant be that dishonest. Once went there to eat and drink with friends. Asked the bartender what was the best on the menu. We were thinking sandwiches and wings. Bartender told us the pizza was the best item. We ordered it. It tasted better than frozen but nowhere near as good as youd get from legitimate pizza places. The service can be good at times or you get the rude, jerk bartender that projects their internal issues. The bar atmosphere is typical for small bar. Can be loud if a lot of people are talking and the rude, jerk bartender will randomly turn the TV from the game youre trying to watch.

Bartenders were just fantastic! Incredibly friendly and easy to chat with. They were so sweet helping me with what I feel can be complicated drink orders but they acted like it was no big deal. They helped me pick out some pizza toppings and I was not disappointed. Highly recommended! Parking: Parking is a little scarce since its at an apartment complex but they do have spots in front of restaurant you can snag if youre there early enough

The first time I went to Mad Hatter, the energy from the DJ was amazing. He welcomed me and let me know about karaoke. He had a positive vibe all night long, music was going, entertaining the crowd and taking song requests in between karaoke singers. Not only will he have you upnout your seat dancing and singing, but he will have you wanting to come back week after week. I will always go back because he is the best DJ I have had the pleasure of experiencing without getting bored. Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a ramp for anyone in a wheelchair and there is out door seating also.

I m new in town and went to the Mad Hatter with some friends and the atmosphere and vibe was amazing! We happened to go in on a Wednesday night which was karaoke night. The energy from the DJ was very welcoming and kind, he was very encouraging and supportive of all the singers and was keeping the crowd engaged very well. He accepted/accommodated song requests from everyone and kept a consistent vibe the whole night. The karaoke singers are a blast to watch! The DJ even did a karaoke song and sounded like he sings as a day job!

6/16/23: This bar opened on 5/25/25 at Cityline. We called and spoke to Rain to better understand where the bar was located. She was super friendly and pleasant. We were not disappointed when we arrived. There were plenty of TVs around and the bar was pretty clean. The staff looked like they enjoyed working there. We sat at the bar and met Tyler. He was pretty awesome! We met Rain, and she was very nice. Aidan was cool too! We had a burger and the turkey platter. The homemade fries were pretty good, crunchy like kettle chips. Very nice atmosphere. Tyler was a great conversationalist and we watched him prepare drinks with ease. He always engaged with the customers, and he made it a fun outing for us. Will definitely return!

Went here with my fiancé and Freinds, as soon as we sat down they needed our card to hold our tab which I was already skeptical about but our waitress told us we wouldn t be charged prior to even ordering anything they charged me a 30$ fee which they wouldn t put towards the bill but said it would go back in a couple business days the waitress was honestly the worst waitress ever I think she was intoxicated don t remember her name but we had to walk to the bar to get a refill twice she never came back and she was yelling over our table when she brought the food at some guy she had been flirting with that was sitting next to us and they didn t have a drink menu and the FOOD was 3/10 we got the burger and a meat pizza and queso the only thing good was the queso.
