I found this restaurant a couple of months ago and was glad I stumbled on it. The several times I have ordered from here after have been consistently poor experiences. I came physically to the location for their Signature Tacos. I ordered 2 brisket and 2 marinero tacos in July before a trip. Got back home to discover that one of the marinero tacos had 3 shrimp and some lettuce in it, none of the jack cheese, avocado or salsa . I came a time or two after that, I asked the person at the counter for the same order, no avocado this time on the marinero. Again, shrimp ,cheese and no lettuce. Tonight I ordered via Uber Eats 3 brisket tacos on corn with grilled onion and a street taco 6 pack. I RECEIVED 1 BRISKET TACO, NO ONION AND 2 OF 6 TACOS. So needless to say, I wont spend another dime here. Ever since I have not seen Angie there at the counter, it has gone down hill. Dont waste your time or money for a restaurant that doesnt make an effort to get it right when youre choosing to spend your money with them and give them the opportunity to get it right.

Im not a big fan of tacos y Mas, there are plenty of places in dfw to get good Mexican food and this place is just ok. I had a torta Cubana and it was good but it wasnt great. The prices are good not over priced at all.

5/5, the best tacos place here in richardson! My favorite thing to get here would be the steak tacos with salsa verde and the tortas. Their tortas are a great amount, definitely too big for me but they are very delicious! The jarritos and aguas frescas are good, horchata would be my favorite.

I am over this place. The food is good but the service sucks I started going to this location because the one on Coit was so awful and now this one is just as bad. I waited maybe 10 minutes inside without being greeted I had to yell to the back a couple times to finally get someone s attention, and then it still took 2 to 3 more minutes for someone to come out and take my order. While I was waiting for my order, two ppl came in and stood waiting for someone to greet them, no one did after a few mins, so they left. They also keep one door locked and I thought they were closed. I m sure they lose a ton of business bc of this. Anyways, too many tacos places in the area I d rather go to * just tried the queso and it s awful. They make it different at this location bc the Ross location is much better and completely different. They must get theirs out of a premade bag. Gross

The third time I eat there and before it was very good, today even though the place was empty I took the risk of ordering, after ordering I went to the bathroom and the bathroom was very disgusting, the attention was terrible, the service was 0/10, the food Worse than at Taco Bell, the tortillas were cold, the barbecue was very greasy and it looked like it had been refrigerated for a year, a variety of sauces but very dirty, I preferred to throw the food away before leaving, I saw a cockroach walking around, it would be good to call the city so that Check the place, I will never return, the worst taco place in Dallas

Been here 5 times now. Food is DECENT, not great. Very inconsistent. Service is awful. Prices are silly. Most recent visit they tried to charge me $3.50 for a Mexican Coke. I said thet is too much, I don t want it, take it off and the employee became rude. Said her mgr wasn t there to take it off and that she didn t set the prices. Poor service. Won t be coming back. Rather go somewhere where they appreciate my business and don t price gouge. Read the recent reviews. Most people feel the same way. The downtown location was way better.

I wanted Nachos and this location wasnt far from where I was, and the prices seemed good. I ended up ordering the Grande Chicken Burrito and was so happy I did. The variety of sauces was great and so good. I tried their green salsa, mango, and mango habanero, and the chipotle. The burrito was so good and so big that it was like having a new burrito with each salsa. 10 out of 10 .... I will try again!!!

1st time. Chicken tacos incredibly bland, greasy, and without any flavor. Tasted like boiled chicken without any seasoning at all. Salsa Verde didnt improve it. Tortillas were chewy, cold, and tasted old. Salsa bar - nice idea, but needs to be monitored. Cilantro empty and wilted. No limes to offer. Pico out. Steak tacos ok, but need to be punched up too. This was my first trip compelled by a NTTA TollPerks coupon that was essentially spend $10 get $10, a great value, but even at half-price I wont be back. The chicken nachos had nice fresh toppings that were undermined by a canned cheese product (like at a high school football game) instead of real cheese. I also got a Grande Burrito with seasoned ground beef that was uninspiring at best. I was initially thrilled to see a salsa bar with a lot of variety, but as I stirred them with the ladle before filling the provided containers they all bubbled like cold lava and had a carbonated mouth-feel which indicated they were on the turn. I was really looking forward to visiting but its funny that afterwards I am thinking about the Schlostskys that used to be in the same space and how they went so far downhill that they closed despite having the recipe for one of the best sandwiches in the world.

I normally LOVE Tacos y Mas and even recommend we support them for an office party today, yet have never been to this location and our experience was unfortunately very disappointing. My place of work ordered 40 tacos with rice and beans included to be delivered to our team. They gave us the wrong tortillas and sadly with absolutely NO salsa included. For a place that specializes in tacos you d naturally think that salsa would be provided, especially when you order a large amount of them. So in the end we were all stuck with a bunch of dry bland tacos with the wrong tortillas. We ordered online and even tried to see if we could add any notes to include extra salsa if possible, but unfortunately there was not an option to. We took the chance and assumed it was standard to get salsa on the side since street tacos are usually served with salsa, but apparently not here. I understand mistakes can sometimes happen if this truly was one, but this particular experience was extremely disappointing We tried to give this place a chance and I hope my boss gets reimbursed since she dished out over $100 for us with her own money only to get extremely shorted.

This is terrible branch. They don t have similar recipes at each branch. I ordered veggie burrito and the size was super small. The stuffing was only bell papers . No rice or beans . From South Tx, came up to visit friends who recommended this place. After having some subpar tacos in Austin in the past, I didnt really have high expectations for North Tx tacos. Food came out quickly and was hot and juicy. We all inhaled our tacos, 5 minutes tops. We came back the next day too! Love that they have breakfast all day, vegetarian & kid friendly options, and a salsa bar. The taste is authentic and pricing is great too, you could easily upcharge as $5+ a taco at food trucks or chain establishments. The first time, the owner or chef (not sure) came out and asked us how the food was & I feel local restaurants who take the time to do that is a big gesture in itself. I had the brisket, monterrey, presidente, and islander and I cant wait to come back and try everything else!

Once I walked in to this establishment, I was welcomed with a warm hello from Kim. She was sweeping and cleaning the tables and made sure everything was in its place. Been to a few locations foods pretty good. Watch out for prices their half off tacos on Tuesday are not really half off. Especially the brisket tacos they only take a dollar off. Staff dont have a clue of whats going on. Definitely wont be back

I ve been a big Tacos y Mas supporter since 2017. I have been to every location in the DFW area. Decided to visit this lactation today. This was also the first time the customer service was PHENOMENAL!!! The lady taking the order was so attentive and made sure the order was correct. The people who brought out the order made sure everything was just the way we asked for! This is the best customer service in the 5 years I ve been a fan of Tacos Y Mas!!

The street tacos had no flavor, the corn tortillas tasted like clay and the limes were very dry like they had been left out all night. We had the chicken.. which tasted like boiled shredded chicken, barbacoa and pastor tacos.

1st time customer. Called 5-6 times to place to go order, but noone ever answered. Figured they were super busy, right? Nope. The place was empty, saw 1employee sitting down @ a table looking @ her phone. I asked do they take call in orders? Yes, but the phone didnt ring. Oh ok. While I was waiting on my food, guess what? The ph rang. So the phone works they just choose not to answer. Great experience for a new customer. NOT !! 1st & last time customer now.

The best street tacos and breakfast tacos. I placed a small catering order last minute (11pm the night before) for 50 tacos plus chips & queso and they were able to accommodate me no problem. Everyone loved the food (chicken and barbacoa) and asked me where I got it. The salsa is awesome - they have several varieties from mild to hot. And the chips are wonderfully fresh and crispy. Ive loved this place for years and now hopefully Ive made some new fans!

My husband ordered some tacos de tripa and agua de jamaica from there. The water tasted like dirty mop water and cheese. Not only that while bitting into the tacos de tripa he got a bad taste in his mouth. Tasted like bad breath and as i was inspecting it for him i found green clump in his tacos. Out of the 3 tripa tacos that he bought 2 of them had that green clump, it had a foul smell. I dont know if they forgot to clean them but it was foul. Customer service was extremely helpful and kind but the food left a bad taste in my mouth, quite literally.

These have got to be the worst tasting street tacos that I ve ever had. I ordered pastor and they literally had no flavor. I was hoping it wasn t covid playing with my taste buds but that was not the case. I ve had other Tacos Y Mas that were really good but this was my first time trying this location. I ll have to pass on this one next time.

Please brown the belly medium-rare. Last week I bought tripe tacos and they were very golden...today they were very soft and cold. Also cut the tripe into smaller pieces please. Next week Ill go for more to see if I continue shopping there and give them 5 stars. I hope they make a change. They can also give the option of golden casing or not. Thank you.

Was driving by at around 1:00pm and then I saw the sign. It was a spur of the moment thing. I ordered 4 street tacos of bistec and an orchata drink. The girl who took my order was very cordial, and the food was good. Nothing out of this world, but it was good eating. Next time Im in the neighborhood, I may stop by again.
